Christena Antonia Valaire Williams is a Jamaican Poet, Multiple award-winning Author, Youth volunteer, Self-Publisher, Historian and Philosopher. She originates from Portmore, St. Catherine. She is the recipient of the International Spoken Word Artist of the Year Award 2020 from Chicago based organization P.O.E.T. (People of Extraordinary Talent) and Blaq Ice productions. She is expected by December 18, 2020, to receive a Certificate of Excellence from Sarabita Masters Awards that will be held in New York. She is a member of Life Circle Poets and 876 Poetry Platform. She is a contributor to One wakand in the US and Literary Editor for Pearls Magazine in Nigeria. Also, she holds a BA (Hons.) in History and Philosophy from the University of the West Indies. Her Book, “Pearls among Stones” was awarded The Prime Minister’s National Youth Awards for Excellence in Arts and Culture. As an educator, I felt it was my responsibility to realize that I had an audience of almost 1400 students waiting to hear what I had to say about many topical issues. I also knew that whatever I said many would remember and maybe even act accordingly. We need to make sure that when they forward in this generation, they do so triumphantly. Liked every subject at school but found Mathematics the easiest, requiring no study and not much effort. Employment: Government Medical Lab – Trainee Medical Technologist then Medical Technologist, Nutall Laboratory, Overseas jobs and Camperdown High School – Mathematics Teacher then Principal. CXC: Marker, Examiner, Panel member, Assistant Chief Examiner Teacher trainer ISSA: Chairman –Cricket, Swimming, Tennis, Football (Manning Cup). Vice President, Treasurer, Champs Committee – Tickets, gate and security. Secretary of the Principal’s Association (JAPPS) for many years. Tried to be a part of everything happening in the school. Maintained an open door for all students, staff, community members and parents.

Kaina Martinez is the eldest of Georgia Alvarez’s three living children, and loving sister to several other siblings. She grew up in Seine Bight- a Garifuna village in Southern Belize. Despite many obstacles in her path she thrives. Giving up isn’t an option to not become. Apart from being known as an athlete who represents Belize in numerous sports but more so track and field, Kaina considers herself an advocate for changes and therefore live her life in such manner. She is the founder of Kaina Martinez Track and Field Games. A grass-roots program she uses to help children 4yrs to 14yrs express themselves through sports and she also uses as a catalyst to help children to recognize and realize their potential, be it in sport or other dreams they hold. She also voluntarily serves several organizations, that works with addiction, domestic violence, impaired driving just to mention a few of the social causes volunteers. Kaina also serves Belize in the military force, as a member of the Belize Coast Guard. aina is the female Belizean Olympian whom for the first time in Belize’s history to make it to another round in the Olympic games. Kaina is also the first Belizean athlete to receive a full athletic scholarship at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Where she earned several accolades on the track and in the classroom. She graduated with the distinction of Suma cum Laude and is the holder of two Bachelors of Art Degrees -Sociology and Speech Communication. In 2019, Kaina also earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling on the same athletic scholarship she received added with an Academic scholarship.

James Elijio is a Garifuna educator, researcher, writer, born in Belize, and holder of a Master of Arts degree in Leading Innovation and Change from the York St. John’s University of England. He is a member of the Baha’i Faith and presently works as an editor of scientific texts. A prolific writer, James has drafted over 40 books and thousands of poems. Among his published works are "We are with you at all times" by way of George Ronald of England, and "Man is My Mystery" by way of the Baha’i Publishing Trust of India.
