This week, we’re wrapping ourselves in a ChappyWrap and giving our honest review—spoiler alert: it’s amazing and makes a fantastic gift!
Then things get personal: How many times do you use a towel, washcloth or pair of pajamas before washing them? Shame, shame, shame! Matthew is firmly “one and done” with his washcloths, and don’t even think about challenging him on it.
We also discuss Burlington’s move from New Jersey to Pennsylvania—and Christina has thoughts. She especially feels for the buying team now facing that commute.
Finally, a reminder from two people who completely reinvented themselves: It’s never too late to make a change. Don’t stay stuck just because starting over feels scary. We love you!

We just wrapped an incredibly insightful conversation with Duke Phillips, owner of Ranchlands, and this episode gave us a whole new appreciation for the business of ranching.
Duke took us through his history, how he got into the industry, the evolution of Ranchlands, and what it really takes to operate a ranching business today. We talked about the challenges facing ranchers, the factors impacting the beef industry, and what consumers may not realize about how beef gets from the ranch to the store.
There was a lot to learn—and apparently Matthew learned enough to decide he may have chosen the wrong career. 😂
If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of the cattle and beef industry, this episode gives you the perspective of someone who lives it day in and day out.
Educational, eye-opening, and definitely one of those conversations that makes you look at the grocery store meat case a little differently.

This week’s episode went from polyester to quarter-zips to beef…again. 😂
Apparently, “polyester” is now slang for something low-quality or generic—which feels a little personal considering how much actual polyester Christina has inspected over the years.
Then we talked quarter-zips, because Christina’s daughter suddenly loves them. As usual, the kids have rediscovered something that’s been sitting in our closets for decades and declared it trendy.
And yes…beef came up AGAIN, mostly because Christina misunderstood what Matthew was saying in the last episode. So naturally, we needed a beef recap within the recap. 🥩
Finally, we shifted into a much more serious conversation about the Lindsay Clancy trial.
Polyester, preppy fashion, beef confusion and true crime—another completely logical episode of Retail. Wholesale. Secrets. 🎙️

This episode really had it all: 💅🥩🔪
Christina shared her latest manicure and pedicure adventures—including the price tag—while Matthew revealed that one unfortunate run-in with toenail fungus ended his pedicure career forever. 😂
Then we investigated whether digital price signs at Walmart and Kroger could eventually change prices based on your search history and shopping habits. So now even the shelf signs may know too much about us. 👀
Next up: BEEF. Where’s the beef? Why are prices coming down while cattle supply remains low? Is lab-grown meat really a thing? And did Matthew miss his true calling as a rancher? 🤠
Finally, we explored ShopRite’s gluten-free aisle—and revealed that Christina’s sister is working on a top-secret TV project…as a murder victim. Casual.
Retail, ranching, toe fungus and murder: just another perfectly normal episode of Retail. Wholesale. Secrets. 🎙️

⛽ Buc-ee’s is expanding—because America clearly needs more beaver nuggets.
🛍️ Altar’d State landed at TJ Maxx.
💰 We investigate how a 100% cashmere sweater could possibly cost only $16.99.
😂 Christina confirms she would NEVER buy cashmere for her 13-year-old…unless it’s $16.99. Then suddenly, she’s responsible enough.
🏥 And Costco has Medicare Advantage plans now, because apparently you can get tires, rotisserie chicken, toilet paper and healthcare during the same trip.
Retail news is getting weird—and we’re here for it.
