Welcome to the very first episode of Rebel Rising.
I created this podcast because I believe we can learn something from almost everyone we meet. A story, a perspective, a practice, a lesson we may have never found on our own. Rebel Rising is a place for those conversations and for getting curious about who we are underneath the conditioning, expectations, comparison, and ideas we’ve picked up along the way.
In this first episode, I’m sharing what Rebel Rising means to me and some of the biggest lessons that have shaped the way I think about healing, personal growth, self-trust, and knowing yourself.
We’re talking about the idea that someone or something outside of us is eventually going to make everything feel okay, the constant chase for the next goal, how social media can feed comparison, and why there is no perfect coach, therapist, mentor, practice, or routine that can do your inner work for you.
I also get into nervous system awareness, the growing distrust I see in the coaching and healing spaces, and why someone else’s path can give you tools without becoming the blueprint for your own life.
In this episode, we talk about:
• What Rebel Rising means and why I created this podcast
• Breaking out of conditioning and outside expectations
• Self-trust and taking responsibility for your own healing
• Why reaching the next milestone doesn’t create a permanent finish line
• Nervous system awareness and how quickly our “new normal” changes
• Social media, comparison, and the pressure to keep achieving
• Coaches, therapists, mentors, and the limits of outside guidance
• Finding practices and perspectives that actually fit your life
There are so many ways to heal, grow, connect, and understand yourself.
My hope with Rebel Rising is that you get to hear about more of them, learn from people you may never have crossed paths with otherwise, and take what speaks to you.
I’m so grateful you’re here at the beginning.
Follow Rebel Rising so you don’t miss what’s coming next.
