This week didn’t hand me one headline… it handed me six.
From launching the Rebel Way Media Network to guiding the Holiday Content Bootcamp crew into real income ideas — and yes, surviving the Canva outage — it’s been a messy, magical momentum week.
CEO Spotlight Friday is where I share the real behind-the-scenes of building the Rebel Empire… one spark at a time.

Confidence hits different after 40. Not because life gets easier, but because you finally stop pretending.
In today’s solo episode, we’re talking about what confidence really looks like in this season of life:
✨ owning your story
✨ rewriting the narratives that held you back
✨ reclaiming the parts of you that went quiet
✨ and stepping into the woman you’ve actually been becoming all along
This isn’t about being fearless.
It’s about being honest.
It’s about being grounded.
And it’s about giving yourself permission to rise without apology.
I’m also sharing a first look at my December Confidence Reset — a 30-day journey using the You Are Not a Fraud Journal to help you end the year stronger, clearer, and more confident than ever.

Next Monday we’re back with another Hometown Heroes episode — and this one is something special.
We give so much weight to the big milestones, but real growth happens in the small, quiet victories we live every single day. In this Mini Mindset Drop, I’m reflecting on the power of daily triumphs...
The unseen moments of strength, grace, and resilience that shape who we’re becoming.
✨ Take a breath with me and remember: every step forward counts, even the tiny ones.
Welcome to the very first episode of This Is What 40 Looks Like, a raw, real, and rebellious podcast that defies everything we’ve been told about midlife.Your hosts, Melodieann Whiteley (founder of The Rebel Way) and Andy W. Shepherd, are both in their 60s now and embracing it! In this intro episode, they share why this show exists, who it’s for, and how it’s not about wrinkle creams, perfect hair, or pretending everything is fine. It’s about starting over. Speaking up. Making peace with the past and rewriting what life looks like after 40, 50… even 60.👂 IN THIS EPISODE: Why this podcast isn’t about pretending to be 29 forever How life keeps changing—and that’s not a bad thing🎧 Subscribe for real conversations about: Confidence and reinvention Business and bold decisions Faith, grief, purpose, and power🎤 Follow us on Spotify, YouTube, and wherever you get your podcasts.
What if asking for help didn’t feel hard — what if it felt human?
In this first episode of Hometown Heroes, I sit down with Eleazar Herrera, Community Outreach Coordinator from Feed Rogers, a dignity-based food pantry that’s reimagining what food assistance looks like.
At Feed Rogers, people aren’t “clients” — they’re neighbors. They get to shop for what they need in a grocery-store-style setting, check out, and have their groceries bagged — just like anywhere else.
But the part that really blew me away? They don’t stop at food. Feed Rogers opens their doors to community partners who offer workshops, classes, and resources that help neighbors build stronger, healthier lives. (And yep — I’ll be teaching one on AI there in December!)
In this conversation, we talk about:
✨ The growing reality of food insecurity
✨ Why dignity matters as much as food
✨ How community partnerships multiply impact
✨ The ripple effect of kindness in action
💛 Because heroes aren’t always out there somewhere — they’re right here at home.

Self-love isn’t vanity. It’s healing. It’s the quiet decision to honor who you are, even when it feels uncomfortable or undeserved. In this Mini Mindset Drop, I’m reflecting on what it really means to embrace self-love as an act of grace, courage, and faith, not perfection.
✨ Take a few minutes to breathe, reflect, and remind yourself: you are worthy of love, exactly as you are.
What if your body isn’t broken. It’s just trying to tell you something?
In this episode, I’m joined by Claudine François, author of Your Midlife Body Code: Decode Symptoms, Realign the Body, and Reclaim Control.
Claudine shares what’s really behind midlife exhaustion, stubborn weight, and the 3 a.m. wake-ups no one talks about. She explains why “normal labs” don’t always mean you’re fine, how stress, hormones, and blood sugar collide, and what it takes to finally feel like yourself again.
💬 We talk about:
• Decoding midlife symptoms instead of fighting them
• The link between stress, sleep, and hormones
• How to realign your body and rebuild trust with yourself
• Why midlife isn’t a breakdown—it’s a data download

Sometimes life invites us to rise to a new level but before we can step into it, we have to take a leap of faith. Not when we feel ready. Not when everything is certain. But now. In this Mini Mindset Drop, I’m sharing a real and honest look at what it means to move forward with courage, even when fear and doubt are still in the room. If you’re standing at the edge of a decision, this one’s for you. You won’t fall. You’ll rise.
