- 022 - Joy Comes In The MourningDETAILS:Friday, July 13th, right at midnight, Cody and Elaine received a call that Cody’s mother, Delena Carol Johnston, had been found in the driveway and had passed away. This episode was recorded the next day to serve as a time capsule for how Cody felt. This is a heartfelt cry to love people and to show them the compassion of Christ.Carol (Delena) passed away from her heart failing early that morning. She had many struggles: alcohol addiction, fear, anxiety, and depression, but beyond her struggles was a woman who loved God whole heartedly and wanted the best for her family. She was a good woman who fought hard. - 021 - TriggersDETAILS:This week, Cody and Elaine talk about two different types of triggers. Triggers are those things that seem to just set Christians off. Anything from Harry Potter to dirty words, yes these are the things that Christians often get up in arms over (despite ignoring the real problems that often are looming in the shadows).
