Jitendra, the patriarch, worked in the diamond trade and made very good money. Even so, when he received a call at work one day, telling him that his son Adit had been abducted and was now being held for ransom, he was convinced it was a joke at first. Tragically, the mysterious voice on the other end of the phone was telling the truth.
