From time to time, I plan to reupload some classic episodes from my Red Pill Buddhas podcast, and here’s the first one, a great chat from 2022 with Dr. Anthony Chaffee. There are some great rants in this one, and some new info even for Anthony fans if you didn’t catch it first time around. Enjoy!

Dr Chaffee is an American medical doctor and Neurosurgical resident who, over a span of 20+ years, has researched the optimal nutrition for human performance and health. It is his assertion that most of the so-called chronic diseases we treat as doctors are caused by the food we eat, or don’t eat, and can be reversed with dietary changes to a species specific diet. He began University at the age of 15 studying Molecular & Cellular Biology with a Minor in Chemistry at the U of Washington in Seattle, which culminated in an MD from the Royal College of Surgeons. He is an All-American rugby player and former professional player in England and America and also has a background in MMA fighting. More recently, he volunteered as a doctor in the refugee camps in Bangladesh, helping the survivors of the 2017 genocide in Burma of the Rohingyan people. Currently in Australia, he specializes in Neurosurgery and does private consultations in functional medicine. He is still full carnivore.

This is the first in my Red Pill Sangha useless anecdotes series, this time with my good friend Eris Fellmeth.

Eris Fellmeth is a 40 years old Canadian/German musician and owner of a small building automation company. Self reflection became a normality for Eris at a young age. Mostly healthy and very athletic life took a strange turn for him in his early 20s when he developed shingles. Mitigating the disease by learning how not to fuel it; living a normal life became once again possible. What a great chat I had with my dear old friend Brian Ingle. We have known each other since the mid-80s, and he is incredibly knowledgeable about so many different healing modalities, having studied naturopathy, osteopathy, Feldenkrais and Hanna Somatics. We get into all of that, plus his recent interest in quantum biology, plus even delve into the guru cult, as we met through the Transcendental Meditation community and he now lives in India. Brian is a graduate of the British College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Novato Institute for Somatic Research and Training and has a background in Ayurvedic medicine and Vedic astrology.
