Twas the night before Christmas (well a couple of nights) but Higgy, Clarky and Daz get together just before the big day to chew through North East footy. Higgy's flying, Lee Clarke's happy.... and then there's Daz Williams.

Twas the last show before Christmas, Ted's still out drinking but Steve, Ry, Daz and Dave held the festive fort. Dave gave gifts, Ry has the GOAT back, Steve lands another Xmas cracker joke and Daz goes all Geordie. 

Ted nicks off but we get the Sunderland lowdown from the Sunderland Echo's James Copley. Ry's getting carried away about beating Chelsea in the Semi's. Radio Dad hits back with another 'You Are The Ref' as he goes head-to-head with Steve and Ry.

Join the North East Footy Brekky lads as they are treated to some moving poetry from Ted. Steve tries hard to hide his disappointment in another cup defeat and Ry & Daz are top of the world, praying for Fulham in the draw tonight.

Ted whips out his WTF. Radio Dad throws in his new "You Are The Ref", Ry's back on a high and Steve get's his derby match tickets. Oh yes, and SAFC look set to be getting in a new boss.

Ex-Boro striker Andy Campbell's scratching his head over Boro's current run of defeats but is confident things will click as soon as someone pulls on goalscoring boots.

Wow, what a week. Sunderland should be flying but cup ticket news and an impending management choice has the lads discussing what's happening. Boro and NUFC have to lick wounds and regroup.

Order, Order! Ry hits the guys with his Xmas quiz, but it doesn't go according to plan. Would you pick up the whistle as the call goes out for more refs and the boys look ahead to the weekend.

Ry and Steve talk about their teams losses however Ted is still gloating about the Makems beating Leeds and shooting them into a playoff spots.
