Hello Rantaineers! We have our first silent film episode for you with Justine's pick City Lights. We get really loud in this one, discussing stuff like antisemitism, capitalism, socialism, and a couple other "ism's"! Shout out to Justine for being such a big fan of the show, we found her lurking around our recording studio windows, and felt compelled to put a microphone in front of her and see what would happen. Also shout out to Justine's friend Chelsea for letting us continually refer to her paper discussing City Lights! We discuss shows like Sex in the City, and The West Wing. Hello Rantaineers! We've got a FANTASTIC show for you this week! Super fan Kieran (Click here for Instagram link) is on the show this week. We found him peeking around our windows during a couple recordings in the in the past, so we decided to let him in and put a microphone in front of his face, and see what he would say. Hello Rantaineers! This week on the Podcast we have the "Legendary Actor Dude Guy" Nolan, with his film of the week choice Saving Private Ryan. Hello Rantaineers! Welcome back to another week of film and entertainment discussions! Woot! Woot! This week we have the very talented, and old soul, Allegra (Twitter Link, Twitch Link, Facebook Link, Instagram Link). "Legzz" as we like to call her, spends her free time pretending to be old to add a level of maturity to her overbearing nerdy bravado. She thinks she's got us fooled, but she does not! Legzz film choice this week is Logan Lucky, or the southern version of Ocean's 11. We get into a bit of a discussion about the differences between the show Vikings and Game of Thrones, which then leads into a conversation of between the differences of The Walking Dead TV show and the comic book. We mention the upcoming HBO Watchmen Series and the early reception of Marvel's Black Panther film. Other films and tv shows we discussed were Grace and Franky, Sing Street, and (Breandan's newer favourite film) A Ghost Story! Hello Rantaineers! We have a special episode for you this week! Not that any of the other episodes aren't special. This one you might say is chill. Like "chill" as in cool. Just a couple of cool dudes talking into microphones! Well two cool dudes including the guest, because unfortunately the illustrious sexy boi Corey McEwen couldn't make it this week. So that means it's just Breandan and his big brother Ben a.k.a. Big Ben (like the clock from that place where everyone talks a bit fancy). Ben spends his spare time traveling the world and pointing at buildings that look cool, finding inspiration from them, and then creating his own design out of Lego and a hot glue gun. He's a trained Architect basically is what we are trying to say. He's kind of a "big" deal (hence the name Big Ben). He owns quite a few leather bound books lets just say. If you're still reading this and wondering why this write up is so elaborate, it's due to the fact we really only talk about Big Ben's film pick this week Snatch. That's it. We wanted to meet a similar paragraph length as we do most weeks. You know? Keep things consistent. Think this should be good though. Enjoy the show!
