So much of this was lost the tape was brittle and thin and broke every few turns.

The contrast to other reels was pretty stark.

I would love to have more of this one.

This was one of those little 3 inch reels from a portable machine that was broken and being thrown away, I managed to save two reels at different times. This one started out high pitched at first I thought it was playing too fast, then realized it was a child. The tape was so old and brittle it kept breaking under the tension, very frustrating, but worth it to hear her. I also played some new intro music as always, and practicing my radio voice;)

This is actually my own recording on this reel. During the covid 2020 pandemic, I worked on a video project of empty streets and parks with an internet friend.
