Episode 22 - This episode is a little bit different to previous episodes. Rather than inviting a guest to speak with us we thought we'd keep everything in-house and have a frank and honest conversation about the formation of Reload and how we built the brand. We hope that by sharing our journey through the creative industry it'll bring to light some of the highs and lows that we encountered and how we dealt with them.

Episode 21 - We spoke with Dee Adam about her approach towards the curation process for the Salute Music Makers competition. The competition is open for entrants to submit original music - up to four songs - with the winner taking away £50k to contribute to their development. Don't worry - runners up get £10k. The competition is expertly curated by industry specialists and Dee, a producer and songwriter explains that it's a role she takes very seriously.

Episode 20 - We spoke with Help Musicians UK about how they offer support in various forms to musicians in the UK. We discussed their grants programmes, their recent campaign on mental health and why it's important to offer assistance to individuals working in the music industry. Help Musicians UK have offered assistance for nearly 100 years and have worked with musicians such as JP Cooper, The Staves and many more.

Episode 19 - Best selling author Friedemann Findeisen from Holistic Songwriting joined us on the podcast to talk about what he does and how he learned to dissect songs, break them down and look at their individual elements. His book, The Addiction Formula, has helped musicians and songwriters worldwide find a rhythm to the songwriting process and Friedemann spoke with us about how he's able to critique music and use that feedback to better not only the music he makes but the music his viewers make too.

Episode 18 - Every person who visits us on The Reload Podcast is always asked what they think makes a successful artist. The answers are almost always different so we thought it would be helpful to compare and contrast these answers with one another. The various interviewees include industry pros and brand reps - all of which have an interesting answer.

Episode 17 - We invited Imogen Heap, the interim CEO and key board member of the Featured Artists Coalition to join us on The Reload Podcast. The FAC brings together the featured artist community to help musicians and artists connect and grow through peer to peer development.

Episode 16 - Georgia Train, professional & commercial songwriter shares her knowledge of songwriting, highlighting several key characteristics which contribute to penning a hit. Georgia discusses her latest project 'Hookers' while looking back on her career as a musician.

Episode 15 - Music Gateway is an online platform created specifically to allow creative and music industry individuals to connect and work together. Sophie from Music Gateway joined us on The Reload Podcast to explain a bit more about what they do. Sophie explains how Music Gateway has planned to change the backbone of the music industry by creating a level playing-field for everyone who has business to conduct, not just those with contacts or friends in high places.

Episode 14 - Sheena from Ultimate Artists joined us on The Reload Podcast to talk about what UA does for developing and emerging. Ultimate Artists hosts a week packed full of learning and activities geared towards helping artists of all ages, from all walks of lives, from all around the world to develop their artistry and learn how to perform, write and collaborate like a pro.

Episode 13 - Rob from Richer unsigned joined us on The Reload Podcast to talk about how they place the music of fresh musicians across 53 stores in the UK as well as distributing unique playlists to their 500,000-strong mailing list.
