  • Pulse Evagelism (w/ Nick Hall) - Episode 301

Nick Hall is an evangelist and the founder and president of Pulse Evangelism, an organization that exists to make Jesus known by reaching the lost and unleashing the evangelist. In 2004, Nick wrote a paper in his college English class titled “Pulse,” casting a vision to see his campus and generation transformed by the hope of Jesus. That paper sparked a student-led grassroots movement, which soon grew beyond the campus and led to the launch of Pulse Evangelism.

Today, Pulse is a global movement that has reached over 330 million people worldwide with the Gospel through live events, digital outreach, local revival gatherings, and evangelism training. Nick is the author of “Reset” and also serves as the president and CEO of The Table Coalition and as a member of the Executive Committee of the National Association of Evangelicals. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife and their three children.

You'll sense the contagious energy to reach the world for Jesus as you listen to Nick and Dale's conversation on today's podcast.

  • 300 Podcasts And Still Going Strong! (w/ Jon Sanders & Jason Allison) - Episode 300

    It's time to celebrate!

We are releasing the 300th episode of the 95Podcast today. Wow! That's so hard to believe. Our first episode was released on July 31, 2019 featuring Austin Savage as our host. Austin was so instrumental in the launch of the podcast. He had a vision and an understanding of the potential impact a podcast could have that was specifically focused on serving small and midsize church leaders. As of today, there have been over 150,000 downloads of the 95Podcast since we began.

95Network teammates Jon Sanders and Jason Allison join Dale in the celebration on today's podcast. It's a fun look back at the impact of the podcast over the years. There have been so many wonderful guests that have joined us. We've included 12 of our favorite conversations in today's show notes in case you may have missed them.

  • The Gospel Care Collective (w/ Jason Kovacs) - Episode 299

Jason Kovacs, of the Gospel Care Collective, joins Dale on today's 95Podcast to discuss the emotional, mental and spiritual health of ministry leaders. The Gospel Care Collective was started to provide counseling, consulting, and Biblical counseling training to individuals and churches. With over 20 years of leadership experience in church and non-profits we specialize in serving pastors and ministry leaders around the world. We are a Training Center with the Association of Biblical Counselors and a member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition and the Society for Christian Psychology.

The Gospel Care Collective has four values that explain their focus:

1 - Christ-Centered: We do not offer a system or a three step process for change but a person, a Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Through his life, death, resurrection, and ascension Jesus has forever dealt with our sin and perfectly shown the depths of God’s love for His children.

2 - Clinically-Informed: We are not reductionistic or secular in our approach but rather interpret the complexity of the human condition (body & soul) through the comprehensive Biblical story.

3 - Church-Partnering: God has forever existed in the community of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and we, as His image bearers, are designed to live and thrive in community.

4 - Community-Renewing: Our aim is to provide a level of care that enables everyone experiencing it to be equipped to live on the mission God has called them to locally and globally and to see our communities renewed by the power of the gospel.

The conversation is filled with great wisdom on our need to learn how to rest in the Father's presence.

  • How Chemistry Staffing Can Help You With Succession Planning (w/ Matt Steen) - Episode 298

Matt Steen has served the local church for over two decades as a youth pastor, church planter, and executive pastor. Originally from Baltimore, Matt currently lives in the Orlando, FL area with his wife Theresa, and has a B.S. in Youth Ministry from Nyack College and an M.Div. and MBA from Baylor University.

Certified as an Urban Church Planter Coach by Redeemer City to City and as a StratOp facilitator by the Paterson Center, Matt has made a career of helping churches thrive through intentionality, clarity, and creating healthy cultures. He is convinced that a healthy church is led by a healthy team with great chemistry, and loves partnering with Chemistry’s churches to do great things for the Kingdom.

Matt joins Dale on today's 95Podcast to discuss the subject of succession planning. As the average age of the American pastor continues to get older, it's imperative that churches begin having conversations around the subject of who will lead the church in the future.

  • The Multigenerational Church Crisis (w/ Bryan Chapell) - Episode 297

As culture has evolved, each generation has developed its own general set of values and views that may align with those of the other generations. Not surprisingly, these differences extend to the Church--how we view the Church's purpose, ministry approaches and even the type of worship songs we sing.

In his new book The Multigenerational Church Crisis: Why We Don't Understand Each Other and How to Unite in Mission, seasoned pastor Bryan Chapell helps pastors understand the unique strengths of each generation—uniting everyone from Boomers to Gen Alpha around a common mission. With practical strategies for pastors and church leaders, this timely resource offers a blueprint for building a more unified and enduring church.

Bryan joins Dale on today's 95Podcast to discuss his optimism for reaching the next generations through our existing churches.

If you've listened to the 95Podcast for a while, you know the impact Bob Hamp has had on Dale's life. It has truly been life-changing. This is why Dale is so excited to have Bob join him again on today's podcast to discuss a new course he is offering on decoding our identity in Jesus.

Bob believes that a lot of discipleship teaching is designed to help us get relief from our addictions and problems. However, this approach is more about the "what" you may be dealing with instead of the "way" to freedom. It's always fascinating to learn from Bob whenever he can join the podcast. Today is no exception.
