- Mina defends herself from a mugger and ends up injuring him, which prompts her to take him to Chastain for treatment. Nic and Mina try to help him, by taking him back to his family and trying to talk to them about helping him get sober. Also, we love the sisterhood between Mina and Nic. 

- Nic realizes that Mina has been running a clinic from her apartment, which could not only cost Mina her medical license, but her work visa. Is this what prompted them to start the free clinic?

- Nic mentions Jessie for the first time and that she has a drug issue.

- Marshall and Conrad and their very uneasy relationship so far. Even this early on, Nic has always been the champion of Conrad fixing his relationship with Marshall, despite the issues in their own personal relationship at this point.

- Devon figures out Lily is in renal failure and that the bone marrow transplant will kill her by running a panel of tests without telling Lane. It ends up buying Lily some time.

- Why was Devon such a jerk in this episode?

- Devon believes Nic that Lane Hunter is up to no good.

- Conrad and Nigel. Conrad listens to Nigel and ends up diagnosing him with MALS on the spot. Something that often gets misdiagnosed. Nigel ended up being put through more unneeded tests before Conrad could diagnose him though.

- Also, we would've loved if Conrad had punched Wilmont. 

- #CoNic - Conrad is jealous of Jude again and admits to Nic their romantic relationship is done *for now*.

- Bell gives a perspective doctor a tour of Chastain that is pushing for transparency. He's also gone off his benzos for his shaky hand.

This week's podcast is a very special edition. We celebrate the 50th birthday of Malcolm-Jamal Warner with an interview with Malcolm.

We got to interview Malcolm a few weeks ago, and this is that interview. Malcolm was Camille's dream interview guest, and she got to ask him the one question she's always wanted to ask him.

In it, Malcolm talks about Bill Cosby, #MeToo, #BlackLivesMatter, #Minator, his poetry, his journey to becoming "The Raptor" and much more!

Malcolm was amazing, and he was so kind and patient with us. Both of us had weather issues during the recording of the podcast, which were edited out, but he was so patient about it. For that, we are grateful.

-Also, why has he played the President of United States 3 times? We also find it funny because Bruce is from Canada. However, if he could run for President, what would he run on as his platform? We'd love to ask him that question.

-Bell's development from HODAD to hero, and our favorite moments that changed him over the course of the series. Where did Bell begin to be a good guy, and when did we think it would stick?

-Bell's relationship with Grayson, his very under qualified assistant, as Radek has dubbed him. We love the comedic relief. Also, Bruce and Radek's friendship. We just loved hearing the BTS from Radek.

-Also, happy belated birthday, Radek. Hope it was awesome!

- Conrad gives a death notice to the wrong family because a patient wasn't triaged correctly in the ER by a nurse who had no clue what she was doing. Also, was Conrad too hard on her when the patient died?

- Budget cuts are to blame from them helping Louisa in "Comrades in Arms", episode 1x03. Nurse Hundley was let go, and apparently the ER stopped functioning when she left.

- We are so glad Nurse Hundley returned and the scene where Irving hugs her is one of our favorites of the episode.

- We find Irving to be the unsung hero of this episode.

- Mina gets benched because of overstepping Dr. Kays in the OR. Even Bell agrees with this move and keeps her on the bench when she asks to help in a surgery.

- We hate to say it, but Mina did this to herself. Don't ever tell your boss you've learned all you need to know to do your job. No matter the profession. Did Mina learn this lesson?

- Shirley & Howie

- Shirley is diagnosed with gallbladder cancer, but she isn't married to her boyfriend yet, so she proposes. They get married in the hospital chapel by Irving. (Can Irving officiate the #CoNic wedding?)

- Bell does Shirley's surgery with Hunter and Devon watching and it is a success.

- Bell is on benzodiazepines for his shaky hand and they are working.

- Nic's suspicious of Hunter and her clinic when they don't send her Lily's chart.

- Nic finds out Lily has a drug sensitivity because she actually went to the clinic and got the chart. It helped her cure Lily of a nasty rash.

- Nic begins digging, and her friend, Allie, who works there is no help at all.

- Devon & Priya's small scene near the end of the episode

- In an interview, Amy reveals that Dr. Daniela Lamas and Dr. Eric Lu wrote the season 4 premiere which will feature flashbacks to the early days of the pandemic. Hopefully, it will still air in January as planned. Both Daniela and Eric have been working on the front lines during hiatus and have witnessed the effects of COVID-19 firsthand.

We admit the reaction we saw to the information that the pandemic would be addressed at all was shocking. Especially since we talked to Amy about it in her interview that released on June 8, as well as in our interview with Marqui on July 13.
