The ResourceXchange Interview series kicked off with John Dance, General Manager of Corporate Services, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. In this conversation with John, you get a first-hand telling of how OnlinePBB and Priority Based Budgeting can be utilized to address the Capital Budget process and how communicating at the program level can increase transparency and understanding between the organization and the elected officials.

Brad Steckart, now a Customer Success Trainer with ResourceX, was the Budget Manager in Washington County and participated in the Spring 2019 ResourceX Leadership Initiative. Learn about his experience creating and utilizing the data created in OnlinePBB and about his Capstone Project from the Leadership Initiative. Brad worked closely with the County Administrator, Josh Schoemann, to develop and realize his project. Reflecting on the Great Recession of 2008, Brad determined the data PBB provides is readily applicable in times of crisis, such as Covid-19, and evolved into his Fiscal Endurance Exercise.
