We pay tribute to the late, great Peter Cullen, the voice of Optimus Prime, who sadly passed away last month.

The vaguely chronological recap of our careers enters 2021, and that strange finding-your-feet period after furloughs and social distancing.

With no Sunak schemes to support us, it was back to working for a living (not that we actually stopped) for both of us, which was a mixture of lockdown-induced creator-owned projects and new stuff, of the live-action TV department, (TRANSFORMERS) computer games. and comic nature. Plus a few strange ones that fall into none of those categories.

Another wander down movie memory land as we dissect a bunch of movies (all pre-1986) that made a BIG impression on us way back when.

Not for the first time, we examine movies that - we like to think - made us the creators we are today, often (very) subliminally. The lasting and sometimes traumatic cinematic scenes that were etched (seared!) onto our subconscious minds. From A Matter of Life and Death to the Jungle Book, from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to Dirty Harry, these are our origins forged in celluloid.
