This week on the FMB Radio Show it’s short and sweet compared to our norm. Quarantine is still in full effect and people are losing their minds. Tony Ferguson is cutting weight for imaginary fights. BJ and Luke Rockhold are contemplating moves to come out of retirement. Even old uncle Chael is just casually admitting to steroid use.

One thing hasn’t changed though; we still love the $15 game so we play another round this week. Hopefully we’ll get this one posted soon as well, but on tap is fighting/martial arts movies. This was significantly harder than I thought it would be when I was drawing it up. That said we give our lists and then in typical FMB Radio Show fashion spend the last 30min of the show building our next $15 game: build an MMA squad to hit the club with.

This week on the FMB Radio Show we get in on the pick five for $15 dollar trend going around the internet. And let me tell you something we are hooked. I don’t know if it’s just quarantine boredom but as soon as we pumped this first one out the idea factory in my brain got cooking on many more. So for as long as this lockdown lasts, you can rest assured every few days we’ll have a new $15 game dropping. First up – building a team of BJJ all-stars to take home the most hardware at gi worlds and ADCC.

We get into a bit of UFC 249 getting cancelled, Henry Cejudo being annoying, Paige VanZant dominating TikTok and then fight re-watchalong. On today’s docket; Joanna vs Weili. I’ve watched this fight maybe 3 or 4 total times now and let me tell you it never gets old. It is insane how much of a barnburner it is.

Another week in lockdown another week of us rambling on like morons to get you through 90min of said lockdown, right here on the FMB Radio Show.

This week on the FMB Radio Show we are doing a movie watch along. Yup, we’re just straight-up watching movies now. There was literally no news other than Gaethje vs Tony (which you can read our thoughts here) so instead of echoing 9,000 other shows this week, we are switching it up. The movie on the docket for this week: only the GOAT MMA movie Never Back Down.

FMB Radio Show meets Oscar worthy acting and a coming out party for rocket ship Amber Heard. It was a fun watch and I genuinely forgot so many awesome things about this movie like the fashion, how quickly people went below the belt (no pun intended) with insults, and of course how incredible of a high school villain Ryan McCarthy is. For as long as we are lacking news we’ll try to come up with new things to do in lieu of regular old episodes.

It’s another Quarantine edition of the FMB Radio Show but thankfully the MMA gods have blessed us with enough news to run a normal episode. Is most of it two guys who clearly are going insane over being quarantined rambling on into the abyss? Yes. Yes it is. But what do you want from us the zombie apocalypse is going on right now.

For MMA news we talk about how we all should just let UFC 249 go, Jon Jones loves drunk driving, if you do BJJ just stay off the mats, and Valerie Loureda and PVZ are engaged in a battle of titans for top MMA bae. Then for a FMB Radio Show quarantine special unofficial rankings we rank the best board games. If you don’t like talking about Monopoly just go ahead and skip the last 25 minutes of this podcast because the fight me bros are BIG Monopoly people.

We’ve survived another week of isolation, only 5 (possibly more) to go till we are out of this mess.

Special FMB Radio Show episode this week. Coronavirus is wreaking havoc on the sports world, there’s literally next to nothing to watch. There’s no news. It’s like Arnie from Batman and Robin just freeze cannoned the entire sporting universe. As one can imagine without news it’s a little tough to do the FMB Radio Show in its normal format. So for the duration of the quarantine, we gotta get creative.

Week one was a layup, but hey sometimes you gotta see the ball go in. ESPN was re-running the BMF belt fight so for the first time since that weekend we rewatch an event headlined by Dwayne the Rock Johnson and record our thoughts for your listening pleasure. Full disclosure, as of this writing I can’t remember exactly what we talked about other than the fights but I’m sure there’s a lot of Corona bashing so you have that to look forward to.

Stay tuned for next weeks episode where I believe we’ll be doing a fight movie watch-along (open to suggestions on the movie). The real-life contagion can’t end soon enough, but until then please stay out the club so we can all sooner get back in the club.

Well, it’s Corona time here on the FMB Radio Show. The Corona virus is officially taking over the planet and we are all being quarantined so that everyone with an AARP card doesn’t get wiped off the face of the planet. Trying as these times may be though, Dana White managed to squeeze off one last event before we have to start postponing things. So, we naturally get into UFC Brasilia, Charles Oliveiria’s big win, a hilarious Renato Moicano fight, Johnny Walker needing to go back to crazy, and what is our girl Veronica Macedo doing fighting at 135?

After that, we are all Corona all the time. What’s it mean for the UFC and MMA as a whole. How are people dealing with being locked inside all day? And what the hell are we going to do while we are locked up? 6/12/18/24 challenge maybe? Who knows? Then we obviously unofficially rank the top three things you need for a successful quarantine, because, obviously.

Absolute MARATHON of an episode today on the FMB Radio show. It’s all things UFC 248 this week. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Izzy and Yoel’s staring contest. Joanna and Weili putting on perhaps the best female fight in history. Beniel Dariush is back maybe. The Suga-show is definitely back. Rodolfo, Mark O. Madsen, the patron saint of underdogs Neil Magny. And that’s just the fights.

The FMB Radio show doesn’t stop there. Brian Ortega was slapping K-pop stars. We got to see our fifth first interaction between Tony and Khabib. Chuck Liddell is looking into a career transition to pro-wrestling. Logan Paul gets slept by Paulo Costa (sort of). Plus a little bit of “does it move?”.

Then, as impromptu unofficial rankings we run down the worst types of gamblers. Accompanied by us going in on one of our friends who filled out all three descriptions in a single text mid-show.

I know sometimes we go off the rails here, but if you’ve come for MMA talk this week is a certified ripper.

Short episode this week on the FMB Radio Show. What can we say some weeks there’s just not a whole lot of juicy news going around the internet. That said we did get into watching MMA’s first couple Joe B and Megan Olivi getting their hearts broken courtesy of a Deivison Figuredo right hand. The female featherweight division is… alive? and well? Not sure if that’s how I’d describe it but Felicia Spencer and Megan Anderson did their part in ensuring Dana won’t fold that hand up just yet.

The most important news of the week obviously is that Dillon Danis is back. But let’s not forget some major fight announcements for Holloway vs Volkanovski and Ryan Hall vs Ricardo Lamas.

Given Joe B’s situation, we obviously had to unofficial rank the most heartbreaking losses in sports. We even threw in a little bonus x’s and o’s talk on Rocky Balboa rivals. All that plus a sneak peek at UFC 248, this week on the FMB Radio Show.

Whole lotta combat to talk about this week on the FMB Radio Show. Between Bellator, UFC, and of course boxing there were people punching each other in the face all weekend. Dan Hooker and Paul Felder delivered in every way we thought it would. Then in the crown jewel of the weekend, Tyson Fury beat the breaks off of Super Shredder aka Deontay Wilder. A true expert demonstration of the sweet science.

Then we get into the blossoming Justin Gaethje Henry Cejudo alliance that Gaethje needs to get out of ASAP. Laila Ali is considering tearing a page out of GSP’s book and making a comeback. Dillon Danis is… back… maybe? And of course, we talk about the talk of the town this week Josh Fabia.
