The FMB Radio Show is back with a special late recorded edition that’s a little outside the normal wheel house. Don’t worry we get everyone their MMA fix by talking UFC Fort Lauderdale for the first half hour or so, but from then on out it’s all Avengers and Game of Thrones. Is it MMA related… no not really. But it’s literally what the entire planet was talking about this weekend and we aren’t going to sit here and try to convince you that Jacare vs Jack Hermansson was a more compelling battle than the one between Thanos and the Avengers or Jon Snow and the Night King (even though Jon Snow is the world’s all time worst military commander).

So if you came for 90 more minutes of MMA then right around the half hour mark you’re going to want to call it a day and tune back in next week when we are back to regularly scheduled programming. If you want to hear two MMA fans / amateur film critics talk shop about perhaps the greatest one two entertainment punch in the Twitter era you have come to the right place.

It was a near impossibly slow week in the MMA streets last week so the guys are all over the place for this one. Topics include UFC St. Petersburg, Darren Till stealing taxis, Anderson Silva’s legacy, and a whole lot of steroid talk… like a ton. No segments this week but we did manage to squeeze in a good 20 minutes of Avenger’s Endgame talk at the end. No Game of Thrones talk though as Matt has not caught up yet. This week on the FMB radio show we do a deep dive on two of the best title fights we’ve seen in some time at UFC 236. Lots of TJ Dillashaw taking PED talk. FMB Radio show April fools edition where we don’t make any April fools jokes because those are for losers. Seriously, if someone in your office tries to pull an April fools joke report them to HR immediately. If just being annoying doesn’t warrant a write up then you have my full support (whatever that’s worth) in making up slanderous information about them because April fools jokes are simply awful and I think we can all agree on that.

Meanwhile HUGE week for fight breakdown. Tons of stuff going on with UFC Philadelphia from Gaethje being awesome and Josh Emmett having a smoking hot wife to Dana White torching fools on Twitter. ONE Championship had an incredible event in the wee hours of the morning, Conor McGregor has retired, and we had roughly a zillion fight announcements. Plus we continue discussing the only bracket anyone is talking about – the March Madness celebrity fight bracket.

The FMB Radio Show episode that almost didn’t make it. We survived multiple sound issues as well as my computer nearly completely exploding so be thankful we got this one out. It was the first weekend of March Madness so MMA wasn’t on the top of the brain but we managed to hit the highlights. Dillashaw busted for roids, Faber is coming back, Adrien Broner is VERY homophobic, and yes we talk about UFC Nashville.

This week the guys recap UFC London, talk about how Darren Till might still be unconscious, Jorge Masvidal is very much about that 3 piece and a soda life, and Gunnar Nelson is frustrating to watch fight. Obviously, Conor McGregor’s arrest is mentioned which leads us to discuss how much of a psycho move it is to be at LIV till 5 am stone cold sober. We are very worried about Tony Ferguson, plus thanks to Paulo Costa getting flagged by USADA we come up with RayBan’s new marketing slogan. Also Nic finds out about Piers Morgan vs Darren Till, the beef he never knew he needed.

In segments we have the ever popular “does it move?” plus the return of “fighting in not fighting”. Then to pay homage to McGregor getting arrested again we unofficially rank our top 3 fighter / athlete arrests.

It was a record short week on the FMB Radio show as UFC Wichita just didn’t produce a lot of water cooler talk. So in between talking Derrick Lewis and JDS we get side tracked with the usual porno talk, BJ Penn is trying to kill himself, and there’s too many trash movies coming out. We saw Captain Marvel right before recording this (confirmed good) so obviously we had to unofficially rank our top 3 MCU movies, which Matt struggled mightily with.

Huge recap week on the FMB Radio show as we run down all things UFC 235. Matt is officially broke and the world still hates Jon Jones. Vitor Belfort is officially signed with ONE so we throw out some opponent suggestions, Matt Hughes might not be that great of a guy, and the biggest winner of this past weekend might’ve been Colby Covington?

In the spirit of Jon Jones adding another scalp to the mantle we also unofficially rank our favorite fighters the majority of fight fans absolutely hate (Nic’s number one is a complete shocker).

Fight Me Bro Radio show Oscars edition! The guys break down what little there was to break down with UFC Prague. There’s lots of talk about how stupid GSP’s retirement was and the shit show going on at 155 right now. Plus the super fight of the century Richard the accountant vs Eryk Anders. Another award show recording so stay with us while we intermittently rip people’s outfits and mix up celebrity names mid thought.

Speaking of fighting, if you’re Irina Shayk you have no choice but to meet Gaga in the parking lot immediately after the show concluded. You just had another chick send fuck me missiles right at your boyfriends face on national tv. I could trope on about how awesome the sex Bradley Cooper had with Lady Gaga and not his wife last night was, but instead I’ll digress and tell you all to just enjoy the episode. See you next week.
