Welcome back to the FMB Radio Show. This week we open up hot discussing Matt’s gambling woes. This includes a depressing loss for dad Cowboy, a befuddling win for the corpse of Glover Texeira, and we have big some words for this Michael Perrera fella. A light week on news however, Conor McGregor is back on the Twitter machine announcing dates for god knows what. Also, Logan Paul is calling out everyone at SBG except Artem leading us to believe that Logan Paul is indeed scared of Artem.

Lightning round episode this week, we are literally dying for a juicy news week. We can only talk about all the money Matt is losing for so long.

Another late episode edition of the FMB Radio Show. I swear this weekend we aren’t going to be lazy and next week’s episode will be out on time. That said for this week it’s pretty much the week of Khabib. Both of us surrender to the fact that he’s probably unbeatable in the current landscape of the UFC which is highly unfortunate because that means we have to listen to terrorist Ali some more.

Other news includes Dana White commenting on BJ Penn’s street fighting video, the Ryan Bader “eye poke”, and Colby Covington getting ready to fight everyone at his own gym.

Tons of good fight announcements this week, plus we unofficially rank who has the best shot at beating Khabib. Slow week for the FMB Radio Show but I have high hopes that Cowboy vs Gaethje will give us plenty to talk about next week.

The FMB Radio Show is back after a two-week vacation in Europe. Needless to say, this episode is a little groggy and we had to power through our upstairs neighbors fucking in their living room to get this out two days late. That said we just try to hit the highlights from the past two weeks. So we go over UFC China and how every living human in China is a diehard UFC fan now. Dillon Danis vs Jake Paul is becoming more and more possible by the day. Ariel unsurprisingly lobbed Conor McGregor a bunch of softball questions on his big ESPN interview. And could this be the end for Boss Bagel?

Plus, in honor of BJ Penn getting laid out at a bar, we rank our fighters most likely to get into a bar fight next. Bear with us we are battling full-blown vacation withdrawals, next week we’ll have more energy.

Another pre-recorded episode of the FMB Radio Show coming your way this week. It’ll be the last one for a while we promise. This week the Fight Me Bro crew does a fight companion style podcast on UFC 1. We discuss the fits, old vs new, was Royce Gracie overrated and of course Art Jimmerson’s lone glove. Bear with us as this was the first time we attempted one of these and have no idea how loud the background sound is or anything. Hopefully, it’s not wildly distracting and this can be as much fun for you guys as it was for us.

We might start mixing more of these old event viewings in. This was a great time and we think it could be really fun to run through that UFC 60 – UFC 140ish stretch with some live commentary like this. We’ll be across the pond for another week so look for the blog to stay quiet. Big things coming when we get back though. Stay tuned.

The first-ever two-part FMB radio show. I have no idea how this is going to turn out but this will be part fight breakdown part nonsensical rambling. The first part Nic goes solo dolo to recap UFC 241. So if you’re coming for one guy’s thoughts on all (read: most) things UFC 241 the first 45 minutes of this episode is for you. Big takeaways here are the tragedy that is Anthony Pettis’ weight dilemma and why Nic went sour on Stipe.

Part two is mostly a normal episode just minus fight breakdown. This part was pre-recorded so it’s a short news week they straight into unofficial rankings. On the docket this week: best vacations. Which turns quickly into ripping on bad vacations.

One more week of pre-recorded episodes then back to business as usual post-Labor Day.

This week on the FMB Radio show we recap the last lame Fight Night card in a long line of lame fight night cards. Henry Cejudo has challenged Valentina Shevchenko and he’s dead ass serious. Joe Rogan is whining about Bruce Lee movies. Valerie Loureda has decided to fast track her “hot girl doing hot girl things” career by jumping into reality TV. And Tyron Woodley’s new song SLAPS. FMB Radio Show stamp of approval for sure.

There’s a bevy of fight announcements to get into. Plus we unofficially rank the grossest MMA injuries.

Couple notes: First, there’s spoiler-ish material in this episode regarding Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. The movie came out weeks ago so if you haven’t seen it tough titty. Second, we detour into a solid five minutes of NFL talk. We shouldn’t need a disclaimer for that because football kicks ass and is right around the corner, but we know some people come for one thing and one thing only and that’s MMA.

Lastly, it’s noted in the closing remarks of the episode, but the fight me bros will be taking a little near-two-week foray through Europe on a boys trip with some of our non-MMA loving amigos (yes those people exist) beginning next week. This means we won’t be recording live episodes because I’m not packing a separate backpack full of microphones at the cost of $50 for every flight we will be getting on (of which there will be a few). Yes, I’m cheap like that, sue me because I’d rather spend that money on going to soccer games and seeing Calvin Harris. So what we will do instead is record two backlogged episodes to air during the normal drop time while we are gone. So though the blog will basically be shut down you’ll still have your Fight Me Bro Radio Show. One of these episodes will basically be an abbreviated version of our normal episodes. The other will be something a little different, but we haven’t decided how yet. Mailbag, tons of hypotheticals, “fight companion” style show for an old event, forty minutes of dick jokes, I don’t know we’ll think of something.

This week on the FMB Radio Show we do a lot of talking about the great American winning machine himself, Colby Covington. Love him or hate him, he’s an unignorable character in the 170lb division right now. Cris Cyborg set to part ways with the UFC. Plus, we think Paige VanZant is, much to everyone’s delight, fully committing to the “sex sells” marketing strategy.

Spoiler alert Urijah Faber telling Henry Cejudo he can triple C deez nuts on his face is the current frontrunner.

Unofficial rankings this week will surely be controversial as we are ranking will Ferrell’s greatest characters. Which really just turns into us repeating hilarious Will Ferrell lines, but even after opening it up to five spots there are some major snubs on both of our lists.
