Pharaoh kept saying, "Okay, you can go"... and then changing his mind. Sound familiar?

As the plagues sweep across Egypt, we see God's unmatched power on full display—but we also see something just as important: the difference between saying you're sorry and actually changing. Pharaoh's words sounded convincing, but his heart never moved. Empty promises without true repentance only led to more destruction.

Meanwhile, God continued to protect His people. While Egypt experienced plague after plague, the Israelites witnessed God's grace, provision, and faithfulness in ways that made it clear: they belonged to Him.

Sometimes obedience to God doesn't make sense to anyone else—and that's okay.

There will be moments when God asks you to take a step that looks confusing, uncomfortable, or even foolish to the people around you. Build the boat. Forgive the person. Apply for the job. Start the ministry. Have the hard conversation. Whatever God is calling you to do, your responsibility is obedience—not everyone else's approval.
