What is a witch?

Not the creature you were taught to fear — but a woman in total possession of herself: wise, intuitive, creative, a healer. That's the whole terrifying secret.

In this first episode on the witch wound, I trace where our fear of being fully seen actually comes from — the burning times, the dismantling of the red tent, and the memory we carry in our blood and bones, passed down the red thread of our mothers and grandmothers.

We reclaim the words that were stolen from the feminine and turned into weapons against us.

And I get honest about how the witch wound still shows up today — the dropped prices, the magic we build and then barely whisper about, the quiet fear that stepping fully into our power will cost us love — and how we begin to sit with it, soften it, and reclaim what was always ours.

Chiron is known as the Wounded Healer—the place in your birth chart where an old wound can become the medicine only you are able to carry.

As Chiron stations retrograde directly on my natal Chiron, I’m returning to this podcast differently: less polished, less palatable and far less diluted. This episode is both a teaching and a reclamation—of my voice, my work and the conversations I am truly here to hold.

We explore Chiron’s place between Saturn and Uranus: the threshold between where we feel bound and where we finally break free. We journey from the wound held in the solar plexus—our shame, powerlessness and “not enoughness”—toward the open heart, where lived experience becomes compassion, wisdom and medicine.

I also speak about the Chiron return around age fifty, its relationship with the menopausal threshold, and why women’s hormonal and emotional experiences cannot be separated from depletion, safety, belonging and the places we have been taught to abandon ourselves.

This is embodied astrology. Not simply what is happening in the sky, but what is moving through your body, your relationships, your purpose and your becoming.

And beneath it all is the remembrance that women were never meant to do life alone.

We were stripped of so much of our womanhood when we were no longer allowed to gather. Bringing women back into sacred circle is part of the healing—and perhaps part of how we change the world.
