If you’ve ever used your upbringing or your past as an excuse, this is an episode you can’t afford to miss.
Mike sits down and chats with Kendal Netmaker, award-winning entrepreneur, author, and keynote speaker who is on a mission to empower and motivate people around the world by sharing his story of resilience and leadership. He and his siblings were raised by their single mother in Sweetgrass First Nation, and although surrounded by poverty and very few opportunities, he was able to rise up and harness his gift of storytelling to help change the world.
Listen in as Kendal shares his story of entrepreneurship against the odds, how he bet on himself and never let his failures stop him, and why the best foundation starts in the home. We also chat about the power of owning your story (no matter what it entailed!) using your story to lift yourself up, and why it’s often the best leaders who have overcome the most in life.

John Langan is an award-winning author and a speaker who has touched thousands with his story on resilience, perseverance, and intergenerational residential school trauma. He’s also a soldier, a police officer, traditional knowledge and language keeper, and a father and husband. We get into so much, including what drove John to share the beauty of Indigenous culture and ceremony, what it means to bring back the warrior society in a modern sense, and how to approach elders respectfully. He also shares his perspective on the importance of fathers, what it’s like raising daughters, and how youth can stay on the right track and out of trouble!

Did you know that you can use your breath to do so much more than just live? That you can use it to actually thrive?
In this episode, we’re bringing some awareness to a practice that, in our opinion, is not talked about enough. If you’ve never heard of the term breathwork, or you’re just not sure what it is, this is an episode you won’t want to miss as we dive into the modalities of the practice and how it can help you in your personal transformation, your healing process, and at the end of the day, even in your relationship.
We’re exploring the physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits of breathwork, how to connect with your higher power through your breath, and how you can use breathwork to detoxify your body (and who doesn’t need that?)
We also talk about what you can expect from an upcoming Masterclass on breathwork that you don’t want to miss because it WILL change your life!

There are probably a thousand different answers to this question, but there is one thing that is certain no matter how you define what a man is: if he’s not living to his purpose, he will not find true happiness.
In this episode we’re diving into what it looks like when men are living purposefully, including what it can look like in their relationships, as fathers, and more importantly, how they feel about themselves.
We’re also getting a look into Mike’s brain to get his perspective on what it means to live with purpose, and he’ll discuss how he turned things around to find his own purpose in life.
The power of a man’s purpose is about so much more than “being a man” - it can shift the whole balance and dynamic in your relationships and your entire life for the better, which will ultimately work to make the world a better place!

We are so excited to have her on the show today to talk all about toxic relationships, love addiction, and codependency. We’re diving into the top things that define a toxic relationship, what it means to “love bomb” someone, and how to know whether you might be a love addict. We had a baby!
This probably wasn’t a surprise for anyone because no one can stay pregnant forever, but it certainly felt like a possibility in the weeks leading up to the birth of Bear.
In this episode, we’re diving into the details of the birth, from the lead-up with the castor oil eviction notice to Bear being born ‘en caul,’ to what it was like having Lennox present for the labour and birth.
We also talk about our experience with our midwives and why we chose to have a home birth (and how it didn’t exactly go as planned).
If you love birth stories, this is an episode you definitely won’t want to miss!

What do you get when you combine sex, spirituality, erotic massage, and a 1970s porn theatre? You get one really interesting conversation.
Kenneth Ray Stubbs is a Sexual Shaman who has a really amazing life story, from working at a porn theatre during his hippie travelling days, to studying massage, joining the Faculty at the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco, and publishing numerous books on sexuality and related subjects. Kenneth was there in the early days of the emerging field of sexuality and has a fascinating perspective on the topics of sex, sexuality, genders, and relationships that you won’t want to miss.
In this episode, we talk about so much, including what it means to approach sexuality in a spiritual way, where the idea for the concept of the sexual shaman came from, how couples can reconnect sexually, and why Kenneth believes that porn is just plain boring. We also discuss the importance of being present with your partner and how we have culturally constructed the ideas we have around sexuality and spirituality and masculine and feminine - this is a truly riveting conversation, so grab your favourite drink, get comfortable, and enjoy!

Women don’t need men. Men and women are not equal.
Have we triggered you yet?
If we have, that’s good, not because we want to start any internet fights or piss people off, but because it means that there’s something inside yourself that you may want to pay attention to.
In this episode, we’re talking about how modern feminism is messing up relationships with men. There, we said it. It’s causing confusion in men, it’s causing unnecessary conflict, and it’s causing men to feel like they have to walk on eggshells.
We’ll be sharing what we mean by “modern feminism,” how it is messing things up, and answering the question: do women really need men? The answer might surprise you.
Michael has an amazing guest for next week, the sexual shaman...
We’re talking about what it means to be a man (this might surprise you), how to cultivate confident masculinity, and how that confidence can completely shift your relationship with yourself and your partner.
We’re also diving into what we see often from men that we work with, how men can learn to take accountability for their shit, and why we need to stop viewing vulnerability as a weakness.
Life is too short, so let’s stop taking it for granted and start living!
Should be back with new episodes next week, still getting all the new born cuddles we can with our new little guy.
He was born July 5th and we’ve been consumed in the baby cuddles and getting settled into the newborn life and finding out groove as a new family of 4.
Laura had a great, fast delivery and we’ll probably continue from last week's episode all about trusting and surrendering and will be sharing our birth story shortly.
In the meantime, if you haven’t already, make sure you go listen to last week's episode all about trust and surrender.
We’ve gotten incredible feedback about that chat from people from different stages and walks of life.
We’ll be back shortly, we're just soaking in all the baby cuddles that we can before this time passes by.
We love you all & thank you for all the support.
