The second annual Halloween episode of Canon Fodder is here and we are getting into the weird and wonderful universe of Child's Play/Chucky. This series of movies presents a surprisingly cohesive string of continuity for a movie about a killer plastic doll. It also boasts an impressive body count and some of the most creative kills in any horror movie franchise ever. We talk in detail about what we perceive Chucky's powers/abilities to be, how he keeps surviving, how do his "children" exist, and of course; does he have a little doll dick. And no episode would be complete without getting into the fodder of this universe like the 2019 reboot and the time that Chucky appeared on a real-world awards show. This week on Talking Tacos, the boys have Neil Narcisse, the founder of Shore Sauce on the podcast. We have an awesome conversation about his business, his sauces, and where he's going next. It was an incredible night with even more incredible sauces (we ate a lot of chips). We also rage about a bullshit hit job (or troll job) in the Tri City News about "kill Tillie", which made about as much sense as it sounds. Meme of the week, plus special guests galore! Bill plugs some meat from local butcher, Dutch Hill Farms, as we discuss what makes the best burger. Meme of the week makes an appearance and we have a good laugh about John Gruden.

On episode 17 of Canon Fodder we get into the grit, glory, and (sometimes) glamour of the Rocky universe. The ultimate underdog story. The never ending quest to pick yourself back up and keep trying. There are so many great themes weaved into these stories, supported by complex characters and heartfelt moments. Oh, and Rocky also ended the Cold War, so there's that too. After all of the good and the bad, we get into the fodder because yes, even Rocky has fodder.

Our usual stomping grounds were closed this week so that the folks at Loteria could get some much needed R&R, so we went to another favorite spot, El Rey. They were kind enough to let us podcast there with all of our shit, and we had a blast. We sampled another amazing hot sauce from Angry TriPawed sauces and Doctor Dave discussed the new art tax in Asbury Park. Bill was unable to join us this week, so Chris spoke on Bill's behalf and how Chris almost missed a pretty important part of his job for taco Tuesday. Surely your employer would understand!

It's really just Matt that goes up against the TSA as he tried to bring a local brand hot sauce from Sanibel Island back on the plane and it was taken because fuck the TSA. Bill also shares some of his beard-searching experiences with the TSA and we celebrate Max Verstappen's win at the Dutch Grand Prix.
