On this episode of Ready Set Revue we take a close look at the first four episodes of Hawkeye, streaming on Disney Plus. This series signals a return to a more street level style of storytelling (though Falcon and Winter Soldier had a lot of that too)but this one feels more rooted with villains like Echo and the Track Suit Gang. We are introduced to Kate Bishop, who is played perfectly by Hailee Steinfeld, and a very different Clint Barton after the events of Endgame. The series has surprising emotional depth, excellent character development, classic MCU action, and a bunch of mystery. Lots of characters are hiding things in this show and of course, we debate whether or not the Kingpin will show up as the internet suggests. Tune in, True Revuers!

Man, thank god Chris wasn't here this week, because the boys absolutely died from food overload this week. Between the tequila shots, the nachos, the chips, the corn, tacos AND desert, the boys barely survived. In between bites of food, we talk about this season's penultimate F1 race, the orb meme, Chris Cuomo, calling out of work, and try a new hot sauce. Grab the tequila and the tacos, let's go!

No no no no, the boys didn't go anywhere; we just had too many people during our Thanksgiving podcast for it to be coherent. Maybe one day we'll do a special lost episode if Matt is ever able to make anything out of last week.

Well, the boys are back this week with your usual shenanigans in Asbury Park. We get a little political, but then laugh about the Ghislane Maxwell trial. Bill and Matt recount the Reyla experiences, Doctor Dave does well in Fantasy Football, and the bots beg for the pork belly taco back on the menu.

On episode 19 of Canon Fodder, we bring you the first of our three-part James Bond series. Part one is the most recent with Daniel Craig's take on the legendary character, and in our opinion, probably the best. This five-part move series establishes continuity in the world of James Bond unlike any of its predecessors. With incredible action, interconnected stories, compelling villains, a deeply developed James Bond, and killer themes, this series is one of the best.

To be clear, we're watching Doctor Dave sleep mostly at the table. We got extra high and had an extra drink in the green room, and we had some casualties by the time we got past the El Jefe. What a week.

This week Chris gives us the rundown on some Dave Portnoy drama making the news, Doctor Dave (when he's awake) tells us about raccoon memes, and we try a hot sauce that isn't really a hot sauce. Tequila shots! Let's go!

An entire episode dedicated just to the misstep that is Eternals. It's rare that we have so many criticisms of a Marvel movie because they rarely miss. This one didn't miss big, but it definitely whiffs in some areas. We go into all of the bad, and all of the good, that is Eternals. Welcome to phase 4 baby!

For the record, the boys definitely did not go to Astro World. We have zero interest, but of course we had to talk about it because you're all obviously dying to hear our thoughts on what happened. No? Well good thing we talk about a bunch of other stuff too. The internet is also mad at Chris Pratt for reasons. There's confusion in the taco orders (definitely Anthony's fault). The boys concede that Matt has killer style. And we review two new local hot sauces from Poor Devil Pepper Co. in Hudson County. Grab some tequila and a couple of tacos and listen in.

OH SHIT. Ready Set Revue is back after a summer hiatus. What were we doing this whole time? Well, other podcasts and drinking. Lots of drinking. In our return episode we are fresh from the theater after seeing Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which I can't even type without my fingers cringing. How is it possible to love something so much, yet hate it at the same time? Anthony and Matt tell you how. Plus! It's old news, but we're still bonered from DC Fandome, which is insane to think. Is it possible that the DC Disaster is becoming a thing of the past? We'll know soon enough!

On the 50th episode of Talking Tacos, the boys vote. No but really. It was election day in New Jersey and the boys hate the government, but we vote anyway and pretend that it makes a difference.

Prior to Loteria, we were treated to a sneak peak of the new fall menu at Asbury Park Distilling and, shocking, all of the drinks were bangers.

We try another new local hot sauce, Hank's Sauce, the Witches Brew. Very apropro, or however the fuck that word is spelled. Anthony tickles our conspiracy cocks with QAnon news about how these idiots think that JFK Jr. is coming back from the dead to reinsert Trump as president. And now we're probably flagged by the FBI for even mentioning that.

Meme of the week is Chris Evans as Buzz Lightyear (trust us) and Table 10 makes a guest appearance in the form of Westchester Rachael. Fuck, we love to podcast. Let's go boys!
