How do you stay personally accountable?  

It starts with the definition:  Being responsible for; that's the literal definition in the dictionary. 

The best way I stay accountable to myself, I use a calendar. I use something called scheduleonce. 

Being self-employed, I don't have a boss.  I don't have someone who will peer over my shoulder to make sure I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing. 

I don't have someone checking to make sure I'm hitting my deadlines and making my goals.  

If I am going to be successful in anything I do, especially having a successful family, business, and a financially fulfilling life, I have to take personal responsibility for myself. 

It starts with managing my time. 

The best way to do this is to put it on a calendar. 

If it's not on the calendar, it doesn't get my attention, and it sure as hell does not get done.  

If you want to be more productive with measurable results, you have to take responsibility for your time. 

When you can measure the number of things you're doing on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, the more productive you'll be. 

And that's when you truly have something you can account for!

We all have inadequacies in our lives we struggle with on a daily basis. 

It could be the way we look.

How much money we make. 

Where we live.

What we do for a living. 

The type of person we are.  

What often happens is, we take a deep dive into self-destruct mode thanks to the ego. 

We overcompensate for our shortcomings instead of looking for a logical way out. 

This is where getting intentionally uncomfortable comes in to play. 

If we are to grow beyond where we are, we have to get uncomfortable in our lives and do the one thing most people aren't willing to do: 

FACE OUR F#CKING INADEQUACIES! 

Big shit doesn't happen in our comfort zones.  

We have to get in rooms where we're the poorest person financially. 

We have to ask questions that reveal the true level we're on in front of people who know more than we do. 

I can't hang with my high school friends if I expect to grow. Most of them can't connect with what I've accomplished in my business, my family, and my life overall. 

I've taken more repetitions at the game than they have.  

It doesn't make them bad people, but I can't grow doing the same things they do. 

I have to be in a room where I feel inadequate so I can extract the information from those who have done more of what I want to do in life. 

Turn your inadequacies into your superpower.

One of best gifts we've been given is intuition.

The challenge is we are hard-headed. 

We would rather climb a tree and hear a lie than stand on the ground and hear the truth. 

The truth that's constantly being delivered to the back of our heads like a baseball bat even though we continue to work at the same job we hate, stay in the same abusive relationships we vowed never to be in, and hang around the same people we're trying to get away from.  

For years, the universe was trying to get my attention. I had to go to jail, lose a job, go back to jail, marry 3 times, get divorced 3 times and keep getting mixed up with motherfuckers who just didn't fit into my design assignment. 

I had to stop selling car washes for money. 

I had to stop selling cars for money. 

I had to stop selling mortgages for money. 

Everything I was doing was for the wrong reason and none of them worked out because of one thing..........

I was not in alignment with my true calling. 

It wasn't until I started listening to that strong voice in the back of my head did things start turning for me. 

I started leaning in hard on building something for myself. 

I didn't spend time with fake motherfuckers. 

Instead of working a job, I chose to count on me and bet on me. 

I started listening more to the voice that was telling me to build a network of people in search of an abundant world. 

I would have to create something everyone could use. 

I would have to create a way to help as many people as possible so I could have proof of concept so I could attract more people to help. 

I built programs. 

I built a stage. 

I started sharing my past and my truth. 

When you start listening to the voice in the back of your head telling you to do whatever it is telling you to do, and you do it, your life is going to get a whole lot easier. 

Listen. 

Follow your truth. 

Work your ass off.

SUICIDE.

There was a time in my life just 8 years ago when I considered leaving it all behind. 

Had I done that, I never would've met my wife Amy. 

I never would've adopted my son Asher. 

I never would've met the Senator and Harlyn. 

My son Jax, never would've gotten to truly know me as his Dad. 

I was literally on the ledge of the 15th story of my condo downtown. 

The ironic thing is I am afraid of heights, so what an ironic way to think of ending things. 

I'll break down what was happening in my life at the time and the thoughts that went through my mind before I changed it.

Back towards the end of 2018, I really started to dial in on whom I wanted to be around, the people I wanted in my circle, in my business, and in my life. 

I had some tough decisions to make.  I realized if I was going to attract certain types of people of sound moral and ethical character, I would have to pay to get in the rooms with those people. 

I would have to release those from my circle who were wanting to continue playing small. 

Most people are hanging out on Tinder and hanging out in bars looking for love and complaining when the quality doesn't match up to their expectations. 

Those are the same people that go to free events or networking meet ups looking for business only to realize many of them still don't have any business cause they're all comign with their hands out. 

Look for networks to be a part of that you can pay to be in.  They're groups of qualified people who know what they want. 

They operate by a different set of standards. 

That's where you belong.
