According to reports, Biden’s team only agreed to the debates under the condition that there would be no audience in attendance. Given the number of concessions Trump’s team made in order to guarantee June’s scheduled debate against President Joe Biden happened—including microphones only being active during the candidate’s designated turn to speak and no live audience—will the debate ultimately help Donald Trump’s candidacy? Listeners overwhelmingly believe that even with a format that favors Biden, Trump will still dominate.
4:40pm- Congressman David Trone (D-MD) spent a record $62 million on his campaign to win the Democrat nomination in Maryland’s race for U.S. Senate—he somehow still lost by 12% to Prince County Executive Angela Alsobrooks. Meanwhile, former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan captured the Republican nomination.
5:05pm- While speaking with Tucker Carlson, New York Jets all-pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers said he was intrigued by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s offer to be the independent presidential candidate’s 2024 running mate, but ultimately concluded he is a football player—not a politician!
