3:20pm- During Wednesday’s White House briefing, Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre refused to directly answer whether President Joe Biden has been reluctant to vociferously condemn anti-Israel protests on college campuses out of fear it could damage his standing with far-left voters in the 2024 presidential election.
3:40pm- A.J. Edelman—an Israeli Olympian, writer, and commentator—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his latest piece at The Daily Wire, “They Shoved Me to the Ground at Columbia for Wearing a Kippah.” Edelman writes: “I pointed with pride to the red Kippah, Jewish skullcap, that adorned my head. It was soon forcefully ripped off by a ‘peaceful’ student who dug his nails into my scalp as he pulled it off, along with some hair. 4:05pm- During Wednesday’s White House briefing, Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre refused to directly answer whether President Joe Biden has been reluctant to vociferously condemn anti-Israel protests on college campuses out of fear it could damage his standing with far-left voters in the 2024 presidential election. When pressed by Fox News’ Peter Doocy, Jean-Pierre cited Biden’s efforts to forgive student loan debt as an appeal to young, progressive voters.
4:15pm- During a Wednesday press conference, Mayor Eric Adams announced that the New York Police Department (NYPD) arrested an estimated 300 protesters at Columbia University’s campus on Tuesday night.
4:20pm- Green Party presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein was recently arrested while protesting alongside students at Washington University.
4:30pm- According to reports, including from Fox News, “protest consultant” Lisa Fithian and other outside sources assisted student protesters at Columbia University and may be at least partially to blame for how quickly things escalated.
4:45pm- During Wednesday’s Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, Chairman Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) revealed that there are “15,000 samples 'in freezers in Wuhan'” as well as “700 coronaviruses” samples that have not yet been analyzed. Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-VA) accused EcoHealth Alliance President Dr. Peter Daszak of downplaying the possibility of the COVID-19 outbreak being the result of a lab leak—despite having previously classifying “bat coronavirus spillover into humans” as being “very rare” prior to the outbreak. Meanwhile, Rep. Raul Ruiz (D-CA) revealed that Dr. Daszak had done subsidiary work in Wuhan, China.
