The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (05/30/2023):
3:05pm- On Sunday, President Joe Biden and Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (D-CA) reached an agreement to raise the nation’s debt ceiling and avoid a default on the federal debt. However, prominent members of the Freedom Caucus—like Chip Roy, Scott Perry, and Byron Donalds—are opposing the agreement. Congressman Dan Bishop (R-NC) went as far as to say that he opposes the deal and, consequently, has “no confidence” in Speaker McCarthy’s leadership moving forward. So, will the agreement have enough support to pass in the House & Senate? Or will the deal need to be renegotiated? You can read more about the agreement here: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/05/29/business/debt-ceiling-agreement.html
3:40pm- During a Freedom Caucus press conference, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) implored Republican members of Congress to vote against the Biden-McCarthy negotiated debt ceiling deal. 4:10pm While speaking with Benny Johnson, Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) said of the debt ceiling agreement: "If you're a Republican member of the House or the Senate and you're thinking about voting for this, come talk to me...Read through it. You'll see this bill does not do what it claims it does.”

Following his arrest, he told investigators he intended to kidnap and harm President Joe Biden while simultaneously espousing pro-Nazi beliefs. Bizarrely, the 19-year-old has only been charged with “one count of depredation of property of the United States in excess of $1,000”, according to CNN.
