3:05pm- According to a report from Jessica Chasmar and Cameron Cawthorne, of Fox News, “[d]ivorce lawyers for Hunter Biden and his ex-wife Kathleen Buhle were aware of money hitting Hunter’s bank account from a ‘Romania deal,’ emails show, appearing to contradict Buhle's previous claims she had her ‘head buried in the sand’ when it came to Hunter’s finances. 3:50pm- While speaking with George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America following the expiration of Title 42, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas called the crisis at the U.S. southern border unavoidable.
3:55pm- In a video posted to his Truth Social account, former President Donald Trump accused President Joe Biden and the Biden administration of destroying America’s borders—explaining that the country is being run by “stupid people.”

4:25pm- Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) are endorsing progressive candidate Helen Gym for Philadelphia Mayor. On Saturday, the two prominent politicians will attend a rally to benefit Gym—the rally is being held at Franklin Music Hall in Spring Garden. Could these major endorsements give Gym an edge in the city’s May 16th Mayoral Primary?
4:45pm- What’s happening in progressive cities? The city of Baltimore is now suing car manufacturers Hyundai and Kia for making vehicles that are too easy to steal. Worth noting, the vehicles comply with federal vehicle safety standards.
5:05pm- The Drive at 5: While appearing on Fox News with Jesse Waters, Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) recapped the House’s closed-door meeting with former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency John Brennan. According to Rep. Jordan, Brennan’s statements ostensibly confirmed that the attempted downplaying of the Hunter Biden laptop story via a signed letter from former intelligence officials was completely political.
5:10pm- While speaking with Pete Hegseth on Fox News, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) condemned the Federal Bureau of Information (FBI) for withholding information from Congress regarding its investigation into the Biden family corruption investigation.
5:20pm- Speaking from Brownsville, Texas at the U.S. southern border, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) blamed the Biden Administration and Democrats for the crisis at the border claiming, “they don’t give a damn about the dead bodies.”

6:05pm- During Friday’s press conference, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said she did not know how many migrant children were currently in U.S. custody.
6:10pm- On Thursday, House Republicans passed legislation designed to secure the border, though it is not expected to pass in the Senate and President Joe Biden is not willing to sign it into law. After passing the bill, House of Representatives Majority Leader Steve Scalise said President Biden failed to protect the U.S. southern border, so Republicans took action to address the issue.
6:35pm- Rich hates broccoli rabe and Matt forgot to get his mom a gift for Mother’s Day.
6:50pm- Broadcasting from Brownsville, Texas at the U.S. southern border, Fox News reporter Sara Carter described “football fields” of people lining up to get into the country.
