3:05pm- Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy continues to proclaim he will remove Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) from the House Intelligence Committee—telling members of the press that, “[i]f you had the FBI briefing I have on Swalwell, you wouldn’t have him on any committee.” McCarthy also vowed to remove Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) for lying to the American public. 

3:10pm- At a press conference on Thursday, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced the appointment of Robert K. Hurr to investigate Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents after leaving the Obama White House in 2017. Why wasn’t Biden’s home raided like Mar-a-Lago? 

3:25pm- Even members of the mainstream media are beginning to call out the White House for lack of transparency when it comes to Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified information. NBC News’ Kristen Welker pointed out that if not for news outlets breaking these stories, it’s unlikely Biden’s team would have ever made the information public. ABC’s Errol Barnett and Lana Zak noted White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre seemingly refused to answer any questions directly when confronted with the issue during Thursday's press briefing.

3:35pm- Could President Biden’s mishandling of classified information impact his intention to run for reelection in 2024?

3:45pm- CNN’s Don Lemon called out Senate Leader Chuck Schumer for being “more measured” in his response to the revelation that Biden mishandled classified documents than when he learned Donald Trump had been accused of an identical transgression.

Journalist Samantha Cole writes, “[r]omantic role-playing wasn’t always a part of Replika’s model, but where people and machine learning interact online, eroticism often comes to the surface.”

5:25pm- Television anchor Andrea Mitchell reprimanded NBC Senior Capitol Hill Correspondent Garrett Haake for using the term “pro-life” to describe an anti-abortion protestor—making for an incredibly awkward exchange on live TV.

5:35pm- Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is definitely NOT the son of former Cuban dictator Fidel Castro….

6:40pm- White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters that there needs to be bipartisan support for lifting the debt ceiling—condemning anyone that treats it as a “political football”. She suggested that President Biden will not negotiate with Republicans over spending.

3:05pm- Attorney General Merrick Garland announced the appointment of a special counsel to investigate Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents. A second set of classified documents was discovered at Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware. In an exchange with Fox News reporter Peter Doocy, Biden confirmed the classified documents had been stored in his garage near his Corvette. 

3:25pm- At a press conference on Thursday, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced the appointment of Robert K. Hurr to investigate Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents after leaving the Obama White House in 2017. Hurr, according to The New York Times, “previously served as the U.S. attorney for Maryland during the Trump administration.”

3:40pm- Blake Lemoine—former Google Software Engineer—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to talk about ChatGPT and the sudden rise of Artificial Intelligence. Last year, Lemoine was fired from Google after going public with claims that the company’s Language Model for Dialogue Applications (LaMDA) had developed a consciousness and perhaps even a soul. How quickly is A.I. technology progressing? And could it be used as a method to create convincing misinformation or push preferred political agendas? 

4:05pm- While speaking to the press on Thursday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said she was unable to say whether President Joe Biden may have inappropriately stored classified documents in locations other than his University of Pennsylvania office and his home's garage. Jean-Pierre continually insisted that once Biden discovered the documents existed, he and his lawyers did “everything by the book.” 

4:20pm- During Karine Jean-Pierre’s press briefing, CBS News’ Senior White House Correspondent Ed O’Keefe accused the White House of offering only limited transparency. 

4:30pm- In 2018, after concluding his second term as Vice President, Joe Biden told MSNBC that he no longer had “access to classified information.”

4:35pm- Congressman Eric Swalwell appeared on MSNBC to weigh-in on mishandling of classified documents…but all we can think about is the time he farted on television...
