00:00 – 27:47 – JMV starts today's show by talking about the Pacers win over the Celtics last night, as well as the injury to Tyrese Haliburton. Reports indicate that the injury is just a Grade 1 left hamstring strain, which is not nearly as bad as what was initially feared. He also talks about the officiating in last night’s game. JMV also talks a bit about college hoops, and the games we have coming up for IU, Purdue, and more, as well as about Colts owner Jim Irsay, who is dealing with a severe respiratory illness.
27:48 – 46:02 – Greg Rakestraw, host of the Colts postgame show, joins the program to give his thoughts on the end of the Colts season. Greg and John go over what they think the Colts need to do in the offseason, and how it differs from where they were at this point last year. One of the potential moves the Colts could make is to try and land a splash wide receiver in the offseason; they talk about if the Colts and Chris Ballard would make that move.
46:03 – 51:05 – JMV closes out the first hour of the show with a phone call!
51:06 – 1:18:47 – Brad Spielberger from PFF joins the show to talk the Colts loss to the Texans! Brad talks about what led to the disappointing end for the Colts season, and how the 4th down call wasn't the only reason the Colts lost. They also talk about the play of Gardner Minshew, who did not have a great game against Houston. They dive into the Colts defense, and the issues that arose all season and came to a head on Saturday night. John and Brad then look around the league overall as we make our way into the playoffs.
1:18:48 – 1:31:33 – John dives back into the Pacers win over the Celtics, and the calls that went the Pacers way. He also talks about how the Pacers are starting to get under the skin of the top teams in the Eastern Conference, and how that is a good thing. He then opens the phone lines back up and takes some calls!
1:31:34 – 1:35:56 – JMV wraps up the 2nd hour by interacting with fans who are tweeting questions at him on X (formerly Twitter).
1:31:57 – 2:04:46 – Tony East, who covers the Pacers for SI and Locked On Pacers, joins the show to discuss the win over the Celtics, and how the Haliburton injury could impact the team as they get ready to embark on a western road trip. They get into if the Pacers will be better without Haliburton than they were when he got injured last season. Tony and John get into what the Pacers rotation will be as they navigate through Haliburton's injury. They also discuss the officiating from last nights Pacers win.
2:04:47 – 2:16:46 – JMV keeps the show rolling with some more phone calls, as well as more Pacers and Colts conversation!
2:16:47 – 2:20:38 – JMV wraps up another edition of the show!
