History is God’s story. He is active and involved. He is sovereign. He’s got a plan. He loves this world and he’s not going to give up on it now.

Early followers of Jesus made one of the most important decisions of their lives in these 2 verses. We can learn from their process how to seek guidance from God.

There was a lot of diversity in the early church, just as there is in our world today. We are to be agents of reconciliation in this world…so filled with his love for us that we demonstrate love for others despite our differences.

In this chapter of Acts, we see God answering one prayer in a miraculous way and not answering another. When we pray, we have to remember that God is good and he has a plan.

Camden sought a personal relationship with Jesus and has found it at The Ridge. His connections as a youth sponsor and as a member of the young adult ministry have grown his faith most, even during the pandemic.

Barnabas was a voice of encouragement in a world with much discouragement. God calls all of us to be encouragers…to build others up. That flows out of us when we are connected to the Holy Spirit and following God.
