The time has come! It’s almost the end of 2018, which means it’s time to round up our top 10 movies of 2018 that we saw in theaters! In part 1, we’ll talk about #s 10 through 2, saving our #1 (and honorable mentions) for next week, the last show of 2018.

Liv and Alex are still buzzing from seeing the witch-tastic Suspiria in theaters, and dive into the gruesome and ethereal themes. The girls also talk the most recent House of Cards season, Creed II, a coming-soon Disney streaming platform and how they did surgery on a grape.

November means another Wizarding World movie, and “Crimes of Grindlewald” was messy. First, a spoiler-free (kind of) review of Jo Rowling’s latest installment of the Fantastic Beasts franchise and a comprehensive list of timeline mishaps. And speaking of bad movies, Alex re-watched MaryKate & Ashley Olsen’s “New York Minute” and marvels at the amount of racism that was allowed in 2004. Then, Liv fawns over the Antichrist in “American Horror Story Apocalypse,” which, despite a terrible ending, is well worth a watch.

This week, Liv and Alex talk about Hasan Minhaj’s new late-night show, “Patriot Act,” and draw links to his stand-up special slash one man show, “Homecoming King.” Alex was pleasantly surprised “Mid-90’s,” and she explains what a cattle call is like and how to rush theater in New York City.
