It's OVER, the Liberals rammed Bill C-22 through parliament. Even the CBC was dismayed at the tactics deployed and the abuse of majority government. MP's from the NDP, Bloc Quebecois, Conservatives and Greens all voted against this law. Leading to House leader Steven Mackinnon insulting dissenters.

Meanwhile the UAE becomes one of 14 countries alongside France, the U.K. , Australia and Canada to pass a social media ban for users under 16. GenZ, Millenials and GenX get their information online rather than traditional sources so is this about control?

The G7 in France led to some hilarious moments, with President Trump reminding G7 leaders who is the boss. Prime Minister Carney was also caught on a "hot mic" trying to please the whims of Donald Trump.

New job numbers are out in both Canada and the U.S. and the contrast couldn't be more clear. One country's economy is BOOMING, while the other is teetering on the edge of financial collapse. Unemployment rates dropped slightly in Canada yet is remaining high while unemployment rates in America remains very low thanks to President Trump's excellent record.

President Trump is done playing around with Canada, and imposed fresh new tariffs on Canada right as we are entering a recession. Canada's bad economic outlook just got much worse. These Section 301 tariffs are issued in order to protect the U.S. from countries employing forced labour... a direct jab at Canada's trade with China.

Meanwhile Mark Carney is underplaying the tariffs by saying we still have the best trade deal with the U.S. out of any country... a few days after blaming the same tariffs for the cause of the recession... Make it make sense. All this while the new ranking of the Best Countries To Live In dropped... and Canada sees itself sliding 15 places... behind the U.S.

And Ontario just opened a new economic pathway that might help our mining sector exploit fresh opportunity, specially in the Silver and precious metal sector. A good economic news that Canada sorely needed.
