Here I'm talking with prolific composer, keyboardist and general mad genius, Jim Beard. Jim has toured with the Mahavishnu Orchestra, John Scofield and Pat Metheny. He's recorded with Wayne Shorter, Dave Liebman and Michael Brecker and has 6 solo albums of his own. He's currently the keyboardist with Steely Dan.

Here I'm talking with the incredibly versatile Catherine Russell. She's a multi grammy-winning jazz vocalist and has also toured and recorded with top artists such as Steely Dan, Madonna, Al Kooper, David Bowie and many more. She's an amazing musician and human being.

Here I'm talking with NYC recording veteran, guitarist David Spinozza.   Although David's name may not be one that a lot of people know, he's been on most of the important NY recordings in the past 50 years.  His credits include work with 3 of the 4 Beatles, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Aretha Franklin, Donny Hathaway, Bonnie Raitt and the list goes on and on.  He's got a fascinating history and viewpoint to share.

Here, I'm talking with legendary bassist and singer Will Lee.  Will has over 1200 recording credits to his name and was the bassist of the reknown house band for David Letterman for 33 years.   He has recorded and performed on virtually every notable recording for the past 50 years and his singing voice has appeared in far more places than most people know.  He's full of life and beautiful stories!

I'll be talking with the very singular force of jazz drumming - Jeff 'tain' Watts.   7-time grammy winner Watts is perhaps best known for his seminal work with the Wynton Marsalis Quintet, where he defined his own musical universe.  He's since gone on to play on 180 other recordings including 11 as a leader.    He's a master musician and has a beautiful spirit.
