This episode talks about the chapter 6 and 7 of the Atomic Habit by James Clear. The human body has about eleven million sensory receptors. Approximately ten million of those are dedicated to sight. Some experts estimate that half of the brain's resources are used on vision. Given that we are more depend on vision than on any other sense, it should come as no surprise that visual cues are the greatest catalyst of our behavior. For this reason, a small change in what you see can lead to a big shift in what you do.

Environment design is powerful not only because it influences how we engage with the world but also because we rarely do it. Most people live in a world others have created for them. But you can alter the spaces where you live and work to increase your exposure to positive cues and reduce your exposure to negative ones. Environment design allows you to take back control and become the architect of your life. Be the designer of your world and  not merely the consumer of it.

This episode talks about how to start a new habit and the importance of awareness towards our habit that the process of behavior change always starts with awareness. Before you can change any habit, you need to be aware of the habit first before change can occur.

This episode talk about not throwing out your old/current ability because you want to create a new habit, that possible way to handle or a create a new one is to stack your current habit with the new habit. We talked about habit stacking which is a strategy you can use to pair a new habit with a current habit. The habit stacking formula is: After [CURRENT HABIT], I will [NEW HABIT].

SO in a simple process on how to create or develop a new habit is to identify a current habit you already do each day and then  stack your new behavior on top. This is called habit stacking.

Waiting is not just something we have to do while we get what we want. Waiting is the process of becoming what God wants us to be. What God does in us while we wait is as important as what it is we are waiting for. Waiting, biblical waiting, is not a passive waiting around for something to happen that will allow us to escape our troubles. Waiting does not mean doing nothing. It is not fatalistic resignation. It is not a way to evade unpleasant reality.

Those who wait are those who work, because they know their work is not in vain. The farmer can wait all summer for his harvest because he has done his work of sowing the seed and watering the plants. Those who wait on God can go about their assigned tasks, confident that God will provide the meaning and conclusions to their lives and the harvest to their toil. Waiting is the confident, disciplined, expectant, active, and sometimes painful clinging to God. It knows that we will reap a reward.

When Jesus told his disciples to wait in Jerusalem, he was telling them that that this was a means of experiencing his peace, his prosperity, and his power. In waiting they would catch the wind of God's Spirit. In waiting they would see God move.

I. Waiting on the Lord requires patient trust

We live by the adage: Don't just stand there, do something. While God often says to us: Don't just do something, stand there.

A. Waiting means that we give God the benefit of the doubt that he knows what he is doing

B. Waiting is God's way of seeing if we will trust him before we move forward

That trust is a patient trust. Whether it has to do with our relationships, our finances, our careers, our dreams, or our churches. We have to trust that God knows what he is doing.

II. Waiting on God reminds us that God is in control

Sometimes people ask, "But what do I do while I'm waiting?" Good question. During those waiting times take on the active role of a watchman. "I wait for the Lord, my soul waits," declared the Psalmist, "I wait for Yahweh; I wait and put my hope in His word. I wait for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning - more than watchmen for the morning" (Ps. 130:5-6).

Education is a human right, a public good and a public responsibility.

The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 24 January as International Day of Education(link is external), in celebration of the role of education for peace and development.

Without inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong opportunities for all, countries will not succeed in achieving gender equality and breaking the cycle of poverty that is leaving millions of children, youth and adults behind.

Today, 258 million children and youth still do not attend school; 617 million children and adolescents cannot read and do basic math; less than 40% of girls in sub-Saharan Africa complete lower secondary school and some four million children and youth refugees are out of school. Their right to education is being violated and it is unacceptable.

Now is the time to power education by stepping up collaboration and international solidarity to place education and lifelong learning at the centre of the recovery.

Today's episode is set to encourage us to take the lead by getting involved to ensure "No child is left behind". The only way to create the future we want to see or leave start from today, it starts from the little things we do today to create the future of our dreams and the only way to get started is to just start. Start from your little circle, volunteer, help if you. Just "Challenge yourself to be the change you want to see in the world".

This episode takes us on a journey through the scripture in 1 Chronicle 12:23-32 where we learn about how the sons of Issachar understand times and how they used it to foresee through the times of battles on what Israel ought to do and among the tribes that journey to battles they were the smallest of all in terms of numbers, the heads of them were two hundred.

Sometimes we fail to understand that it's not just the number that can or will determine how successful we are or how victorious we will be in battles, the difference between the children of Issachar and the rest was that they had a foresight ahead of them, they could see ahead, so they discovered that it's not the numbers but knowing what to do when to strike. They spent time laying down strategies that which will require just 200 men to go instead of going with thousands of men.

We need to realize the importance of understanding the time, the only way to move beyond your peers, is to think ahead, to see ahead and also knowing what to do ahead will set you up for victory and success.

This episode helps us to understand why it's important to seek for the grace of God through daily communion with him, daily fellowship with God to get the revelation of the times we at and how to strategically lay plans to move ahead.
