“Your entire health of your business is rooted in the numbers.”
- Shelagh Cummins
Are your emotions around money hurting your business?
It’s no secret that numbers can hold incredible power over us. The number on a test, scale, or bank balance can fill us with pride or shame. But letting emotions take the wheel when dealing with numbers doesn’t lead to good decision-making — in fact, it can cloud your judgment, especially when it comes to making strategic choices for your business!
The health of your business is entirely based on its numbers. Being a successful entrepreneur means treating these numbers as data and receiving them without judgment. Your numbers are not a reflection of who you are as a business owner — they are valuable feedback that will help you pinpoint the changes you need to make in order to push your business forward!
Once you’ve made your money mindset shift, you’ll be able to use your business numbers to make strategic decisions in your business… without being held back by emotions.
In this episode of the Road to Seven podcast, you’ll discover:
✔ The power of removing story and emotion from your key decisions
✔ How to monitor the success of your business using data — and the top 3 things to focus on
✔ Why micro-conversions are an important metric to track when it comes to perfecting your marketing

“I show you the path. I never take the wheel.”
— Hadriana Leo
Personal finance coach Hadriana Leo (AKA The Money Navigator) teaches women how to be the heroes of their own financial stories!
Hadriana started as a traditional financial advisor, something she could do while at home with her daughters. She fell in love with financial service and through truly listening to her clients realized that the traditional advisory business model didn’t allow her to meet their greatest need.
“These women really needed someone to journey with them, and not just throw numbers at them,” Hadriana says. “I realized that I had some gifts that I could lend to financial services that would allow me to meet that need and fulfill my own purpose.”
Hadriana offers her clients a unique blend of financial knowledge and an ability to provide nurturing guidance and support to help her clients lead richer, more secure lives.
In this interview, Hadriana talks about how she let go of her secret Cinderella fantasy and created her own “glass slipper” she could wear while walking into her purpose.

“What matters most to your longevity as an entrepreneur is what you do when the going gets tough.”
- Shelagh Cummins
It’s not always rainbows and unicorns when we’re building our businesses.
When the going gets tough, how you react and the choices you make can have a huge impact.
Entrepreneurs tend to love sharing the highlights of their businesses — those breakthroughs that help them tap into their ideal audience, bust through revenue plateaus, or come up with the perfect offer.
And it’s great to have that inspiration, don’t get me wrong! I love a good success story as much as the next person.
But we don’t often see the lowlights of running a business — the obstacles and setbacks that every entrepreneur deals with on their Road to Seven.
Learning how to deal with the lowlights is just as important as celebrating the highlights!
This episode is all about exploring those lowlights — especially the ones that have popped up for so many of us during the last year. You’ll learn key survival strategies for keeping up your productivity and motivation throughout lockdown.
In this episode of the Road to Seven podcast, you’ll discover:
> Simple steps you can take right now to increase mental focus & energy during lockdown
> How to find joyful micro-moments & space for solitude — even when you have kids at home
> The unorthodox technique I use to find clarity and insight

“I will give anyone advice on their images and what they should be doing.”
- Trina Turl
Could branding photography be the missing ingredient your business website needs?
Trina Turl specializes in capturing vibrant, stunning images that help small businesses and brands stand out from the crowd!
A former wedding photographer, Trina shifted to photography for small businesses, shooting interiors, products, and small groups. She also provides magazine-quality stock images at accessible prices through her new business, Clio & Fox.
Branding photography is a specialty Trina shifted to after joining small business communities on Facebook and realizing the value she could bring.
“Once you become part of the small business community, you kind of see what they need, and it’s not really being addressed by strictly commercial photography. It’s a nice blend of the wedding, in the way that you’re interacting with people,” Trina explains, “But there’s also a lot of planning and thinking ahead of time that goes into it, which I also really love.”
In this episode of the Road to Seven podcast, you’ll discover:
