all right, everyone. This is the roadmap work. It's Tuesday. Hopefully everyone had a good, long holiday weekend. I'm seeing a lot of people here in the chat, including some people who might have some super stickers and emojis here. Benzinga actually just launched our subscription service on YouTube for 3 99 month.
You can get those custom emojis and be one of our, a star supporters. And who knows, there may even be some emojis coming soon with maybe my face and or Brian space. So you definitely would want to sign up so you can get those and use those in the chat while we're talking, because what better than to show off those wonderful faces.
I want to give a big shout out. To today's sponsor FTX U S one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. In terms of trading volume of daily users, the FTX app is used by over 6 million people to buy crypto and NFTs with no transaction or withdrawal fees. You can use your phone or computer to use the FTX us trading plan.
And it offers NFT trading on both the Ethereum. And so lineup blockchains with no gas fees, you can find out more by clicking the link in the description of the video below or in the chat right now. So if you have not signed up for an FTX account, the information is all right there. And again, shout out to FTX for sponsoring today's episode.
I want to go ahead and bring up. My cohost Benzinga zone. Brian Moore, Brian, what's going on buddy? Oh pretty good. Now, after we got those technical issues out of the way, we're ready to rock and roll technical issues. It feels like a Monday, Brian, it's not it's Tuesday, but I'm pretty much thinking it's Monday, all day.
So I would expect technical issues and more issues to come. But. Yeah we got some stuff to talk about. We got a lot of NFT news some events that happened over the weekend. And then we did get the big news that our friends FTX are launching a new gaming division. We'll get into that.
And we thought that since we're going to talk about NFT games, maybe we should take a look at five play to earn an Ft games that should be on your radar for our viewers and our listeners. What do you think of that? I love it and want some more. Definitely. All right let's dive in to the news flow here.
So it's Tuesday, AKA Monday or Tuesday. One of the things we always like to start the week with is a look back, right? So let's look at the top 10 NFTs by sales volume of last week. And topping the list was a Zuki 33.7 million up 47%. NFT world's 27.1 million up 171%. This is similar to the central land and the sandbox a metaverse play a virtual world.
We also saw efforts up 48.6%. We had Eden horde, Kobata AXI, infinity, tasty bones, board, API club, three, Landers and clone ax, rounding out the list. Just to highlight a couple of Zuki has a floor price at 12.49. And FTE worlds. That's a collection of 10,000 17.49 east. And then am efforts 4.59. I remember when that thing was trading at a floor of 0.2, it has risen significantly.
People are using this as their profile picture. It's almost the new crypto punk style, a lot of people in it. And then of course, some new ones Eden. Tasty bones, but then we also saw board API club Clonex and ACCE remaining in the top 10. And then which we're going to talk about later on the plater earn NFP game on the avalanche blockchain, Brian showing some strength being in the top 10 for two straight weeks.
We don't often see avalanche projects in the top 10, and now we have one that's been there two weeks. What catches your eye and stands out to you top 10 lists. I like what you just said about how avalanche is now. The second week in a row, they're on a top 10. That's just, that's a lot of good news for avalanche.
It shows a little sustainability and a little good inkling that we'll have more to come. I like that the M efforts is top three and cause that project is a little, it's fun. It's interesting. And there's like some stuff. Hidden stuff in there that if you're a part of the community, you know about, I don't know, a lot of deep dive into it, but I've seen a lot of talk on Twitter and I just liked that project just cause was fun and vulgar and I don't know, it just makes me smile.
So that's good enough for me being on the top 10. I'll take it. That sound, a game in blockchain project that's on there. I think that's the most interesting aspect of it all. Yeah. We talk about the top 10. The other thing Brian I'd know is so out of these 10, five appeared on last week's list and five were new either a return or brand new to this top 10 list.
So it's nice. We got to change the pace here. NFP world. Brian, we've been talking a lot about decentral land in the sandbox. Those are the two big plays, right on the metaverse NFTs and Ft worlds. Those starting to show some strength almost as like a a former third wheel that could be a triple threat here.
I know a lot of. Very high floor price. Now, 17.49 last I looked, I haven't looked today. But the one thing I know is crypto debt, oh, 15, eight now at the time of this episode, crypto dads, which I own some NFTs and crypto moms, they have land and NFT worlds, and they're going to launch their own universe there.
And along with that, you'll be able to participate and maybe earn some of the world token. Just for playing some games. And FTE worlds. I like what it's offers. Cause it's all about connecting your project, your community, and you can essentially build your own world. It's also compatible with Minecraft, which is obviously one of the bigger games out there.
Yeah. There you see crypto dad's right there. And I hadn't looked at what the world token was. But my guess is that maybe that one could see some some volume here as this project grows. Not financial advice, but I would definitely keep that one on radar. And Brian, I'm excited to explore NFT worlds just like looking at the sandbox and the central land.
All right. Moving on from the top 10, we did get big news out on Thursday, and it's been that long since we last talked to all our listeners and viewers here, world of women, which is a project we've talked about several times. Reese Witherspoon features a world of women as her profile picture on Twitter, and she's taking it a step further, her hello sunshine, which is a production company, signed a storytelling partnership with world of women.
So they are going to build out a character universe that includes films, scripted and unscripted television shows based on world of women. Hello, sunshine also wants to launch and highlight other women led NFT products. You're not familiar with world. The women. It's a collection of 10,000 women NFTs. It had a mint price of 0.07 back in July of 2021.
Lots of celebrities have gotten into this one and guy Oseary who also has a deal with boredom yacht club. Was signed as the representative of world of women. No surprise that media was coming here. This project has shot up in value. Just insane. It's gotta be getting close.
To at least being considered a blue chip at this point. And Brian so we're at 9.25 east floor. Now it actually came down over the last 24 to 48 hours. How about this media deal though? Movies and TV and coming from hello, sunshine, Reese Witherspoon. It's the same company that actually produces the morning show, which is a show on apple TV with Boone and Jennifer Aniston.
Yeah. So that's one. So I know the company. What do you think of this media deal? No, it's huge. It's enormous and I'm very excited about it cause it's going to lead to a lot of stuff. And then a T space. This isn't, we're not gonna break this dance or anything yet, but we do have some interesting guests lined up coming soon that have other TV shows.
Different production values tied to it that we're pretty excited to talk about. And I'll fill you that in later, because I don't know if I want to worry if we're a ruined anything or if I'm even allowed to really talk about it yet. But there's a lot of stuff happening in this space.
And it's really exciting in this deal itself, I think is going to spearhead just so many new. Crazy great projects and different ways it's going to disrupt the media industry as a whole. So I'm super excited. I think it's great news. I think we could talk about this for hours. Yeah. And maybe we'll do a special episode sometimes to Brian that a new show that you were talking about, maybe when that.
Announced, maybe we do an episode talking about all the NFTs related to a TV shows or movies. Cause we have this one now with world of women, we have board a yacht clubs sign that talent deal, crypto punk signed a talent deal. So maybe they announced film or TV show eventually. And our friends at robotics they have an animated series coming with the robotics and the robo pets.
There's a lot to like in that space and a very exciting time. And I fell all day, which is from dapper labs. It's a the same company that brought NBA top shot. So if you were with us a couple of weeks ago, I know Brian wasn't, but I'm sure he was watching from the sidelines.
I opened up a pack of NFL all day. So there was three moments in that pack. I have a couple unopened packs that I'll be opening on future episodes. So if you want to see me open those, definitely let me know in the chat right now and hit me up on Twitter. I was able to score a pack on Friday, which will have a rare or legendary moment inside of it, along with eight others, including some super bowl moments, but the marketplace for NFL all day is going live today, Brian.
So that was something I said last week. NFL all day launch these packs, but you weren't able to sell the moment. And now the NFL season is over. So are they losing some of that momentum? With the marketplace launching today, we'll get to see real fast. Whether these have high volume of transactions.
If the price drops on them, if people are making more money than they spent on the packs, et cetera. So I have. Rare Patrick, my home's a numbered two 1200 and last I looked Brian, the lowest listed price was $1,400. So I will be following along. Cause I don't know if I want to hold onto this, my homes or sell it today.
I want to see what we get for a volume. What do you think the all day marketplace opening today? You think we see a surge today and we reach peak or you think this will happen over the next couple. Ooh. I don't know what the it's really interesting to even think about because it's new and this is like a Kind of a trading practice, if you will, that's much older than NFTs, but now that we've tokenized it and made it digital, it's a whole new ballpark, but I can't say either way, but I can say that I bet you it's going to gain a lot of traction.
I think over time, we're going to see a lot more volume and interest in this whole aspect because there's already there's YouTube videos. That are directly made just for opening packages. I've seen people where they accidentally drop a card and it's $50,000 and nothing looks bad about it, but because they dropped it on videos.
Now the value has tanked three fourths of what it was worth. It just crazy. I don't know. But yeah, I think there's going to be a lot of interest and we'll see a lot more value in these than we do now. As soon as it's launched. Yeah. Who knows? Yeah. And the other thing to watch is NBA top shot has done a real good job of doing like collections and challenges.
So like right now during the NBA season, if you like collect the top scores of every night, you may get an extra pack. They're going to tie in some fantasy football into this over the next season. Today in the next couple of days could be the days to S snatch up some of these low priced moments and sit on them until next year.
Cause I don't know if the values are going to skyrocket necessarily now, but I think we're going to see increased volume when the NFL season starts in September. Something to keep an eye on there as well. All right let's move on up next. We have the women try, which we talked about last week.
They had their mint and their reveals. So Eva Longoria, who hosted a spaces with the team, she put out a tweet showing off some of her women tribe there. You can see them on screen. This has a floor of points three to nine, and I was hoping it would come down a little bit. I wanted to get one of these, but right now just sitting on the sideline, I wasn't able to meet these.
But now that we have the reveal I'm going through some of the images. They're real cool. Look earthy, some vibrant colors. Brian, what do you think of a women tribe now that we have the reveal out here? The look you said, I liked the colors. I like how how they pop.
And I think I've said it earlier. I really liked the pastel colors, but I like how this has a neon aspect to it. And little bit almost cyber punk mixed with that pastel kind of edge. I liked the artwork a whole. Thing is really unique compared to yeah, and it's not a guarantee, that all women led NFT projects are going to run, just because that has been a trend lately, but with a floor price of 0.3, two, this does offer a little bit, a better entry point than some of these other women led NFT projects. So definitely one on my radar. And I'll be looking at some of these.
Now that mint and reveal is done. All right, guys, let us know if you are watching live right now. Again, shout out to all our live viewers on YouTube. Let us know in the chat. The chat is rather quiet today. We'd love to hear from you. And if you're listening to us or watching this after the fact, let us know, hit Brian and I up on Twitter, or leave a comment on this YouTube video.
We want to know where all our loyal fans are and maybe let us know where you're listening or watching from. So we can see that global audience that we have. Brian. I think it's time to get into today's big subject, is play to earn NFT gaming. I'm so excited that over the weekend, I found out from our friends at FTX, who of course are sponsoring this episode, that they are launching a brand new gaming platform.
So this is going to be FTX games. Which is going to provide complete solutions for companies and projects seeking to grow in web three. So they're recognizing the monetization efforts of NFTs and web three and the the head of FTX gaming. There's a future where 2 billion gamers get to own what they earn and we want to help build it.
So they're calling the new segment F a or FTX as a service. They're going to offer an end to end solution of their core product to launch NFTs and tokens, our custodial wallet with non-custodial integrations, primary and secondary. Compliance and license syncing and more so I'd like that there really being that back end behind the scenes thing behind the thing supporter for some of these gaming companies or these NFT projects.
They obviously see huge growth ahead in NFTs and gaming. This is huge news and they have some job postings and in those they're looking for software engineers and people. A specific familiarity to unity game engine from unity software, unity game engine. One of the biggest gaming platforms out there responsible for helping build around 50% of the top downloaded games.
FTX launched a hundred million blackchain gaming fund in November. And of course, FTX raised $400 million in January when they were valued at $32 billion. Brian, I just said a whole lot of stuff. I'll let you chime in now. FTX gaming. What do you think of. You've pretty much laid it out. Word for word.
What needs to be said, I think is really exciting. I think, like you said, a unity is one of the biggest software engines to build software platforms to build software that there is out there. It almost every game that you've ever played, anyone's ever played as somewhat been either influenced or built by unity.
So that's going to be big. I think that they have actually been in the web, not really web three, but the crypto space because people have integrated a web three or NFTs or blockchain technology into video games for a while. Relative to how old blockchain technology is. So it's going to be exciting to see this go mainstream.
Of course, anything FTX does or touches. There's going to be a lot of money. That's going to be put into it. So you know that there's going to be a lot of Skilled professionals that are going to be building on this platform. And there's going to be a lot of resources that they have available to them to make it as good as it possibly can be.
So it's pretty exciting and we're in a really cool time and error era that we're about to see something. Most influential technologies be built, be it gaining or tokenizing of assets and stuff like that. And plus video games are so mainstream. Now, unlike whenever I was a kid, you were a nerd, or even though it was fun to play video games, you were nerdy.
If you played all the time, which I still do. But now it's cool. And people are making our professional athletes are e-sports game gamers and they're making millions of dollars. So having this be tied into it with all that money and revenue and high popularity who knows where we're going to be.
And it's awesome that we're having some of the biggest savings in crypto and the gaming space and gaming development mashed together. So we'll see some cool things come from. Yeah. To me again I used the phrase that our CEO and founder likes to use with some stocks and some companies, the thing behind the thing, companies that help power other companies behind the scenes.
And to me, that's what I see FTX doing here with its gaming platform. We all know FTX as a cryptocurrency platform. We know it as a growing NFT marketplace for Ethereum and Solana. And now we're going to get to know it as a gaming platform. They're not going to necessarily build out their own games.
They're going to provide that infrastructure for companies wanting to launch games, and there is such an unmet need. In this space and that's why I'm excited. And again if FTX was public, if open sea was public, if looks railroads, public, those are the types of companies that I'd be investing in.
Because they're not a one trick pony, we're going to see some of these different NFT projects come and go, it's part of what it is. It's unfortunate, but a lot of them will not be around. Couple of years from now, right? And your NFTs of those projects may lose a ton of value. But the ones that stick around are going to be the ones that engage with their communities, provide utility and the companies that are going to benefit the most are these companies like FTX that are working as a platform as a infrastructure place. So I like this move by FTX. And the other thing I'll say, Brian I was a big video gamer as a kid.
I like to play some mobile games now and some of those games cost money. A lot of them are. But the more time you spend, you can level up your character, you can earn rewards in the game. What do you have to show for it? A lot of times, right? You can't sell your character.
You can't sell in game items unless a few sell your whole account. I remember when Pokemon go was huge, right. And I played that and people were selling their whole accounts. So you could get an account with a bunch of legendary. And complete your polka docs, but what if they had a marketplace in there right where you earn along the way, and you're able to sell those items.
That's massive. And it's going to increase engagement if you're a gaming company and you have a way for people to earn. Th you're going to have people want to play it. I just feel like that's a fact and the big companies that I know working in this space that we've talked about, Brian Ubisoft and Zynga.
And I think we're going to see more gaming companies. Get there, but I just think FTX is ahead of the game here and we're going to get more announcements of gaming partners out of them. What do you think, Brian? When you play games, would you love the ability to sell some of that stuff that you earn along the way and maybe make some money to where you can spend it in a game or elsewhere?
I think that'd be cool. Yeah, absolutely. Especially if you spend a lot of time and work and what's While you're doing it is to create this extra source of income or it'd be your main source of income. Yeah. I think that's a great way to do that. I think it's awesome to be able to sell sell your work and what time you put hours into it, instead of just collecting it for a hobby, you can make it a living and Brian, I do see a question here in the chat from a black Buddha, which I'm guessing.
So it says, I totally agree with. But why are gamers so mad about NFT earning? So my guests here is that there's been this old adage for a while brian of played a win or pay to win, right? Where people who have a lot of money can buy items and essentially they can win because they have the best items.
So that would be the unfortunate side of NFTs in the marketplace is that yes, you're going to be able to buy items and possibly have a leg up on the competition, but that's a free market society within the games. And to me again a game like Fortnite, you pay 10 or $15 for a skin.
That doesn't give you an advantage in the game. It's just an aesthetic thing. I would much rather have an advantage if I spent the $10 or $15, right? Like that's me. Maybe I'm on the the minority side here, but that's what I think. Brian, what do you think of you're spending 10 to 15 bucks on a scan.
I think. I might be wrong, but in my opinion, I think that's more geared towards younger kids where it matters what your character actually looks like as opposed to what advantages it gives you, because hell I'd ever pay $20 just for a skin for it to make my character look good because either you're in first person mode, so it doesn't really matter.
Or it's just showing off online that doesn't matter. But like you said I still, I'm not going to pay $20 to get myself an advantage in a video game if there's like a way to earn it. And even if there wasn't, I wouldn't really care that much about it, but I know that Paying for some sort of service or utility that it brings besides just cosmetic or subjectively makes yourself look better.
I wouldn't do that. But yeah if I get like an unlimited gun or instead of having to crank out 10, 15, 20 hours on a game to get a certain loop box, I can pay $9 for it and get all the guns that would have taken me. A month to get then. Yeah. That would make sense, but not just for some aesthetic or if it gives me no value in it gives me some advantage rather.
No. Yeah. There's definitely a ton of work here in the gaming space, but I just really feel we're early, still. And again, I I think that. Gaming is a big area for NFTs to tackle. Yeah. We don't want you to spend that much on skins either Chile. That's a lot of money.
Shout out to Shelley here in the chat. One of our, one of our loyal viewers and yes, Alyssa is here. And is the best NFT producer, to be honest, I would agree. And I think Brian would as well. So shout out to. All right. Let's get into some play to earn games that Brian's. So there are some that are already out and that are being built.
Aside from this big news. So probably the most well-known play to earn game is ACCE infinity. And it really took the world. And world global scale by storm last year. We got people in some countries earning a little. Playing and breeding with their axes. So in ACCE infinity, there, there's a couple of ways to earn money.
You need three axes to play the game and you start accumulating the two tokens, SLP and AXS, and then you can breed your axes. So if you have two axes that haven't been bred much before you pay for a X S N amount of SLP. That scales along the way. So then you've got a waiting period as you get those axes.
There's obviously a lot that goes into this. I'm not an expert on. But I do want to share. Brian, we got massive news that Axion infinity passed the $4 billion sales volume milestone, $4 billion in transactions for that game. And that came less than five months after they hit the $2 billion sales milestone in September.
So in five months, $2 billion more there's 166,870 axes in the game. Over $45,000. 1.9 million transactions. And to point out how massive acts the infinity is it's actually the third largest NFT marketplace with $4.14 billion open. See 21.85 billion looks rare, 16.8, 5 billion.
And then ACCE is third on the list. So they're in game currency. Surged and in price in 2021, it hit a high of a hundred sixty five thirty seven, and now trades at 48 82 ACCE ranks. First, all time beating out crypto punks and boarded yacht club, which of course have a much smaller collection size.
We did see ACCE dropped 40% in sales volume last week, but it still was on that top 10. And I saw news out this week that ACCE announced a partnership with bit to me, which will help grow the brand in Southern Europe and Latin America. So it doesn't look like axes going away anytime soon, Brian, I still haven't played ACCE.
I really want. Having to own three when they were around $250 each, I shied away from it, but I think you can actually get it much cheaper now. So I'll definitely be taking a look at ACCE now. And maybe play it just to say I played it and maybe to earn a little alarm the way.
Yeah, I think it's really cool. We've had a on mineral bus, we had one of the co-creators of XC on, and it was crazy just to see him or just to speak with them and talk with them. And that was right when they were first blown up. And that was what, two, $3 billion ago. It's just, yeah.
This game taking the world by storm. It's awesome. It's it really revolutionized? Play to earn. And they, even whenever they first started, they made it a little bit more fair where people didn't weren't priced out from playing. And then once that it blew up, they even brought it down another peg.
So even know people were priced out, they made it a little bit more fair and they keep doing that as it grows. And it's just really cool to see that. They care about the community and see what this game single Handly has done for other players to earn and FTE games and just revolutionize gaming as a whole and disrupted it from its core.
It's pretty neat. Yeah. Definitely it it's really cool to see what ACCE has done. It's been really successful. And again all along with that being said, I just want to. I want to experience it. So I can say that I played it and whether or not that means I earn money along the way, but it's really cool to see.
And they really helped pioneer the play to earn in the NFP space and the fact that it's still so massively popular all these months later is a Testament to their success. So shout out to act. Brian, this next one I'm excited to talk about, but it's another one that I still am in the middle of doing more research on for myself.
And it is the horse racing game, photo finish game based on so Lana, and if you were with us, when we interviewed Solana legend, it was one of the five Solana projects that he said he liked best. It is like the Zed run of Solana and it is being developed by several former employees at electronic arts.
Brian, speaking of video games, electronic arts, one of those. Gaming studios out there and yeah. Get in the game. And they brought a lot of people over to this game from EA they've already built a live simulator. That's been used by media companies, including CNBC. They also launched a mobile game previously that didn't have the play to earn mechanics.
So they already have proven six. They mentored their male studs in September for around $70. When we had legend on, he said that the male studs were going for $600 each. When I looked Brian, I think the cheapest horse I could get was a little under $800. So we're already starting to see this go up and remember the game hasn't launched.
But they did just start breeding. So that's an important element, right? That they're doing breeding already before the game launches. They have a unique breeding system where, you know, those horses can only breed a certain number of times. I don't know if you ever played Zed, Ron, Brian, but that was one of the biggest takeaways for me was that breeding.
You could breed it. Three times a month and their supply has just been so massive now that the valuation has also dropped, right? Because now that you have so many horses, everyone can own one. There's no longer a scarcity of supplies. I like what Photofinish is doing here with their game, you're also going to be able to obviously horse your horses against each other.
There's going to be a token. You can earn. There's just so much to this game. And also the fact that it's not going to be on a Sirium, those transactions are going to be a little bit cheaper. It's going to be fast. Brian. I know you are a fan of this project when legend was on. Have you done any more research?
Or is this something that you're still interested in here with? So I've been a little bit more in a research in, I did try to buy a horse, but I was priced out. I couldn't actually figure out how to utilize it and play it, which I really wanted to. And I did get to the point where I gave up.
So I was hoping to maybe we could run through it on a show on how to play and actually use some of these games maybe later this week, or on an upcoming show dish. Users like, this is how some of these work and especially this one, because I think this is one of the cooler ones, especially being on Salada and being you have the little gas fees, like you said, you can breed them.
And so there's more there's more. Of them out there that you can own. I really like this one. I'm still interested in it. I'm in no means a written off the game. I'm all about it. I don't know much more about it though, but yeah, I love it. All right. If you're watching us live, let me know in the chat.
I'm not going to do it. I'm not going to do it today, Brian, but should I buy an $800 virtual race horse? In the future, I want to know. Let me know because yeah. I know. Brian's going to say yes. And I know some of you guys out there are going to say yes, but we'll have to do this on a future episode where I dive into the world of Photofinish.
Again, I do have some experience with Zed run. I never owned a ton of horses over there and the breeding by the time I got in, again, it just wasn't as successful in valuation because the supply had increased. So much over time. But yeah, so photo finish next on the list for play to earn.
And then we move over to one. We talked about a couple of weeks ago sky Weaver, which is a free to play trading card game from horizon blockchain games. So this is a TCG, right? Similar to magic the gathering or. I did play this one. This you did see. Yeah. So I downloaded it. I've played it. I haven't earned any of the NFTs yet.
I'm working my way up through, I'm working my way up through those battles bride. Cause I, I want to earn them. I want that that reward at the end. I want to be able to sell them or say that I have some NFTs here. But it's a really cool game and it's addicting the matches take anywhere from five to 15 minutes, which is a nice in terms of time, you can do a at night or after work it's not going to take you hours, right? You can do one game at a time or you can play a couple back to back. And try to, I love a, her stone and imagine. Played magic a lot in highest school. And then as an adult, a little bit dabbled back in, but it wasn't as fun to have as many people, but I love her son to play every now and again.
And this is a lot like that, but it has the the blockchain in Ft, Ethereum mix into it. So I love it. Cause I nerd out about anything that has to do with solidity and blockchain technology. So I really liked this. This is one of my favorite ones too. And I haven't, I've just like you haven't played it.
I've been going through the tutorials. I haven't won anything yet, but I've been taking my time and just dabbling when I have time, I don't have much while I'm working, but it is a lot of fun and I love the aspect of love, how the gameplay works and I'm all about it for sure. Yeah. And again, it's not something you have to spend a ton of time in, it's not something where you got to read through a huge white paper.
If you do those tutorials you, you pretty much learn it. They released some gold cards. Recently, they actually partnered with open sea where they did a drop there where you could buy some rare cards. So I feel like that's going to be something to watch too. As they cross promote with open, see in some of these platforms, The chief storyteller recently did an interview with NFT and cider.
I haven't listened or watched that yet, but that's something maybe I want to take a look at. And see what is the plan of growth here? I have seen quite a few people playing it on Twitch or on YouTube playing live. And again, They do it leagues at a time. Those gold cards that you can earn, they reset every so often.
And then those gold cards will never be available again. So there's going to be a scarcity there. Once the season ends, if you were able to earn a silver card or a gold card if you wait to sell it until it's no longer earn a bubble, I think you're going to see valuation go up. So here you can see some people playing this game and Brian, again, played an earn, right?
If I'm playing a mobile game I'd love to get something in return, right? If I'm spending hours yet it's fun, but it's also more fun and more rewarding. If I have something in my wallet to show for it. All right. So that was of course sky Weaver. And I do have an article out on, Benzinga talking more about that.
I want to turn to another one here that I don't have all the information yet. It's one I've been researching for a time. I remember when they did their mint of their first round on open seat, galaxy fight clubs. So if you don't know, galaxy fight club, a mint or a floor price right now in open seas, 0.49 a collection.
10,000, but this is cool. It's going to connect some different NFT collections. It's going to be a cross-platform player versus player fighting game where holders of different NFT collections can battle with each other to win and earn rewards. They have the G coin is their total. It's a cross IP cross platform.
It's really going to be like one of the first to do what they want to do. And they really are taking after Nintendo that they call themselves the super smash brothers of the world. And they've already partnered with board API club, Chris crypto punks, deadhead animals.
And some other groups, BYO Hills. So it's really cool. And again, they sold out of those fighters. But I'm still looking at 'em and again, that floor price 0.49. It's really not that bad for play to earn game that is up. And I saw some of their big investors. They've got some decent names involved and there's just a lot to like about this game as it comes.
Brian, what do you think of galaxy fight club? The Nintendo of NFT played earn games here. I don't know too much about it. I'm actually trying to look look through it right now. It looks really, it looks a lot of fun. Like I, I think I mentioned just earlier. The gaming aspect of a crypto blockchain empties is not something I really dove into till recently.
And this is definitely one of the games that I can see myself spending a lot of time on. I hope to see more of these games go to like mobile apps. There are a couple of. That I do. There's one, I play called up land, but it's not really a game. You play, you just buy properties and you hold them and pretty much stake.
One form of the other that it's on mobile, but if I can get more of these on mobile, I definitely play them a whole lot more. And this one looks a lot of fun and I liked the aspect. I liked the, this I don't know if it's turn-based or not, but I do think this one looks like fun and I can enjoy.
Yeah, I was thinking it was turn-based, but based on the trailer, it almost looks like it. It's not here. And Brian, it does say on their website download our game for iOS or Android. So it is going to be mobile three V3 team tournaments and 10% battle. Roy ALS also coming where you can earn more gene points and also.
Theory. So if you play this game and you get good enough you can actually participate in some tournaments. So that's pretty cool. I like the fact that they've already partnered with some of these different cyber Kongs and wicked craniums also our partner. They don't have a date.
That's the only drawback, is they're still really working on getting this out. They'll have alpha test and beta testing. Later this year, you can sign up on their website to try to get early access. This is just exciting, right? Another game that combines all the elements of play to earn along with mobile games and the freemium model.
And I really liked the fact that yeah, you're going to be able to play it, have fun and also possibly earn along the way. For anyone watching or listening, that's galaxy fights. Again, a project that minted a while ago, it lost steam and I haven't heard a ton of news about it, but it's one, that's definitely been on my radar since they meant it out in August.
So again a while in terms of NFTs, right? An August, 2021 mint but 0.49 floor price. I think we're early here. I'm not financial advice before this game launches. Yeah, galaxy bike club. Check it out if you have not. Brian, last on my list here we have CRA Bata. So Kobata you heard me say in the top 10, right?
This is based on the avalanche blockchain. And it's another one that maybe we're early to, right? Because the game hasn't launched they had their motto is mine, Lou breed and battle. And if we pull up down at the bottom of their website, I believe is the roadmap and it's got a time table. I believe of specific things.
Yeah. There is there road. If we can zoom in. So fourth quarter 2021 is done we're in the first quarter 2022. So there's a lot to like about this project, Brian, because they've got a ton of events happening this year as they build out that game. And as I said, the fact that this has been on the top 10 for two straight weeks, I think is showing strength in this project.
So again, avalanche was. On my radar, but it is definitely now I'm with this Kubota game. What are you saying? A hundred percent. Yeah. Avalanche is booming there. Them and salon are taken on Ethereum by storm, by force. Sooner or later, I think that they're going to definitely match what a theme is doing.
And like they're already steps ahead because they're fully proof of stake as opposed to a theory. The E 2.0 or whatever the new Eve name is. It's still in launching mode, which is going to take awhile. I think we're going to see a lot more of these happening and I'm all for it and all excited about it.
It's awesome. Not complaining Chris, not complaining one. Definitely. I pulled up the Kubota marketplace just to take a look, Brian, cause I was thinking Hey maybe I can start buying up some of these NFTs and according to this, it's sorted lowest to highest price. The lowest that I see is $1,605.
For one of these crab looking NFTs. Brian, that's a decent price. It looks like a, this thing. People are interested in it. And again, I want to do some more research on it. If anyone out there plays Kubota, please let us know in the chat or hit me up on Twitter. I do want to learn more about this game.
Maybe we'll work on getting that team to come on for an interview as well. Again, Brian, as we try to diversify. Not just a theory. I'm right. I want exposure. I've got flow. I've got Solana. And now avalanche on radar here as well. All right. That is going to do it for our five play to earn an FTS to watch we hope that everyone enjoyed this segment.
We're going to be trying to do more top five and top 10 list. And we can also clip that out. We can do an article. We can do a shorter video. I think it provides good education. So if you're watching us, let us know in the. Did you enjoy doing this top five list to get Brian and I's thoughts on some projects to watch and speaking of projects to watch.
We talked about the upcoming mint schedule last week. And I do just want to bring up some of these projects again, because we have a big week ahead. So we already had the mutant bats of that happen. If you owned a crypto bat, you could fight one of the partnered NFT projects. And now there is a mutant bats collection on open.
See, I believe the floor was underway. We also have a big event tonight, Brian, I don't know if you saw this. We're getting a mega mutant reveal for a board ape and mute and eight yacht club. Someone is finally using one of those mega serums. There'll be doing a live video starting at 6:00 PM Eastern time.
We also got the launch yesterday. Of sneaky by vampiress syndicate for 0.16 east. That is from sneaky vampire, syndicate the floor right now, Brian 0.2. Or 0.209. So not that much higher than the mint price. So I'm definitely watching this one. This is a way to get into that sneaky vampire society through the vampires is here and they have not revealed Ryan.
So there is the potential that you buy one at the floor and it ends up being rare. I did love the artwork here on the vampiress. So another one to watch and then turning to this. We have star catchers minting today at 0.1, one, one, Ethereum, a collection of 10,000. It is one of the most hyped projects out there.
So there is going to be a gas war likely. So I will be waiting to see where these land at AF ger the mint. And then we also have the doggies from. D O double G of the sandbox avatars. The presale is today at 10:00 PM, UTC, the public sale tomorrow, and the reveal is happening on Thursday.
Fingers crossed that you get a rare dog or alien and those costs 150 sand plus a theory them for gas. So sand price right now. Is 3 0 9. So these are around $450 for these avatars. Brian, do you think these us Snoop dog avatars the doggies, you think those sell out super fast between today and tomorrow?
No. A hundred percent. Yes. No flat. Yeah. And you'll be able to play them in the avatar. They're going to be, you're going to be able to be in a music video, right? Not you personally, you technically are. That's your property, so that's. Definitely. And then also today we have dented fields which is 2:22 PM today.
So it actually happened during the show, their pre sale. There is a total of 11,111. and then tomorrow invisible friends minting a 5,009 at 0.25 east Brian, an insane project, right? Invisible friends. I think we see that. Absolutely. Just take off tomorrow. It's one of those floors that I could see hitting a couple of ease right away.
And then we have weather report. Which is the project from the former artist. That's doing dented fields. They are launching on the 24th and then wonder pals launching on the 26th, which is Saturday 10,000 at a 0.08 east mint price. And then also one to throw on the radar because our show is of course called the roadmap.
We like when project. Hey roadmap, but sometimes they also release a new updated roadmap. So we have a collection out there called alien friends. Which minted, I don't even remember how long ago, but they will be releasing their roadmap 2.02 months ago. December was their mint. It looks like they will be released.
Alien friends roadmap 2.0 on March 3rd, Brian, which is next week, Thursday. So as always not financial advice, but when these projects tend to list a new roadmap, you tend to see some volume pour in, either good or bad. Yes, a hundred percent. I think this will definitely pump that up a little bit.
And on the backside, of course, Brian, it'll probably get pumped up going into the roadmap. And if people do not like that roadmap, what happens on the backend? The project could fall because people likely will want to get a ton of new stuff, they want to be rewarded. And we'll see if alien friends what their plans are for the future.
But this is one of those that. Was minted in December. It was in that PFP phase. I did see some people use these on Twitter as their PFP, but the project has lost some momentum and maybe roadmap 2.0, helps bring that back in. I haven't taken a look at the sales value of this project recently.
It looks like it's been pretty flat to start 2022, it did have a good little pump at the start of January. But yeah, we will see what happens with that roadmap or release next week. That's what's on our radar. As always guys, if there's anything you're watching, let us know in the chat. I think we did have one that someone pointed out when we were talking about play to earn games.
If we can find that comment, nifty league DJ Jens is a great working NFT gaming multi-player with live play to earn. I don't think I know nifty league. I think I looked at, I did see something about this on Twitter today and looked into it. It's pretty interesting. I don't know a lot of information, so I'm not going to dive into it, but it's weird that someone mentioned this.
Cause I, I realized I recognize the NiFi, the And I thought that was pretty cool. So they read your mind. I pulled up open sea and I see a floor price of 0.57. Get ready to brawl. Nifty league is one of the first NFT gaming platforms set to change the way NFTs and games are experienced.
That is something we've been talking about, right? Oh, these are their pixel art style. There they are. Yeah, this looks pretty cool. Another one to put on the radar for a play to earn games. And I do like when they have a floor price under one once we hit one, if it's not a project that I'm fully invested in or fully committed to, I tend to stay away.
Just because of the opportunity costs out. But a 0.5 range is definitely interesting. And yeah, this roadmap here so shout out to the chat for letting us know about this one. Definitely. On radar now, a hundred percent. All right. Time flies, it looks like that is going to do it here for our Tuesday episodes.
As always let us know in the chat, if you enjoyed today's episode. And again, if you'd like that top five segment for play, to earn games that you should watch. And then also the calendar, which is so important to talk about upcoming minutes. At the end of the episode, we will be back tomorrow. 2:00 PM Eastern time.
And as always stay tuned, we got pre-market prep at the close coming up where Joel and Spencer will break down all the top stories and trends for stocks and crypto. I know that there's so much going on in the world right now. We did have a speech from Joe Biden and we of course have all the world news out there.
A question here from Russell. What was the first one you mentioned? Was it star catchers was the first one that I mentioned for a today for upcoming mints. I hope that is the answer to your question. Russell's star catchers, February 22nd. All right, Brian, anything else? And to leave us off on today.
Nope. Can't wait for tomorrow. See Wells in the store. All right. And as always, Brian and I will be doing some research into some of these plater earned projects. You never know when we might be playing them live on screen. And when you know, my horse stable decides to kick off in high gear here. Take care, everyone stay tuned and we will catch you tomorrow.

all right, everyone. Yet, this is the roadmap Benzinga NFT show. We've got so much to talk about as we previewed last. We had one of the biggest sporting events, the super bowl. And there was tons of rumors, tons of conversation about what was going to happen during the big game. So without further ado, let me bring on the man who I talked to about all those rumors and all that news we have Benzingers oh, Brian Moore Hola.
Brian, before we get started today, I have to remind everyone that today's show is sponsored by FPX U S one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world in terms of trading volume and daily use. The FTX app is used by over 6 million people that buy crypto and NFTs, no transaction or withdrawal fees from your phone or computer.
And that FTX us trading platform offers NFT trading on both the Ethereum and Solano blockchains with no gas fees. You can find out more by clicking on the link in the description below and also pinned to the chat right now. And Brian, speaking of FTX we talked about this last week, right? That our friends from FTX, we're going to have a super bowl commercial and they were also going to be giving away Bitcoin based on what time that commercial aired.
So Brian. That commercial was the FTX featuring Larry David. It was one of the most talked about commercials and I thought really well done and really funny. What'd you think of that commercial? Yeah, I really liked it. I liked the other coin based one where I had no idea what was going on with it, the bouncing around on the screen.
So Brian I was way off with my guests on a FTX. I thought that commercial was going to error like nine o'clock. And it actually, I shared the tweet here. 7 54 was the actual time. So they're giving away 7.5 for a Bitcoin to anyone who retweeted and entered that contest. Fingers crossed here, of course, but again, props to our friends at FTX for getting that Superbowl commercial out.
And then Brian, you of course mentioned the other one that I've heard so many people talk about. Coinbase not a 32nd ad. They did a full minute, right? Yeah. What seemed like it would last forever, which was probably good because it gave a lot of people time to figure out what was going on. So $14 million is the estimated cost that they spent for that 60 seconds to have a QR code bounce around.
And. For many of us in the crypto space, in the NFT space, I think we knew what was happening right away. I grabbed my phone so fast, Brian. I already had it out because I was live tweeting commercials during the super bowl, but I scan that QR code and I was hoping, Hey, it's going to be the Coinbase NFT marketplace.
Let's go, let's start buying NFTs. It wasn't but still just disappointed. Like I even, I ran into. As I was in the kitchen, fixing, finishing what were made for dinner because my wife and I stayed home and I saw it on my phone and of course I couldn't do anything for my phone. So I ran into the bedroom, we were watching it and then I started scanning it and got it.
And I was like, really disappointed, but she had no idea what the hell was going on. And she was like, I don't get it. That was stupid. Why? And I was like I bet a lot of people scan that. And then a lot of you are disappointed like me because we didn't really get anything. Yeah. And that's the key point, and I, as my, my takeaway is that I scanned as fast as I could. And what did I get out of it? Nothing, possibly something. So on the top of it, something to talk about, there you go. And what did they get a ton of new users potentially. And that's what they spent money on. Of course. And also Brian, I saw the data yesterday, there.
Chief product officer actually said that they had 20 million visitors to their website in one minute. So one minute after that commercial aired or during 20 million people last or in the month of December, they had 77 million visitors. So around a quarter. Of what they normally get in a month, they got in one minute, thanks to the power of the Superbowl.
So obviously $14 million is no small amount, but it looks like potentially money well spent and also their app. It went all the way up to number two, I believe on the U S app charts for downloads. So again getting their word out there, we also saw. Crypto.com. So FTX, Coinbase, crypto.com.
All doing ads. And then Brian, the surprise one for me. And the one that I think a lot of people loved because it had so much going on was the E Toro one, right? So the equatorial commercial, it featured a Sheba dog, that we saw lots of different crypto communities fight over which coin it was actually supposed to be.
But then also hidden in that commercial, which no one seemed to find until each Toro tweeted out. There was a board ape from the board ape yacht club, NFT collection. Brian, I didn't see this the first time there it is on screen. You have to really slow down zoom there. Yeah. So they tweeted out and said that they brought a friend along.
So that is a board ape that belongs to their founder and CEO. So here we have the the. Of the actual NFT, right? So there it is. That's his, and he featured it in the commercial. Brian, there was all kinds of talk, that we were going to see board apes in a commercial, we were going to see board apes as part of the halftime show.
That stuff didn't happen. But instead we got a one second image of a board ape in a commercial. Is that kind of a small constellation prize or just a non-event. Yeah. It's just here you guys go quit talking about it. Yeah. Now people can't say that aboard wasn't in the Superbowl commercial.
Cause technically so I guess on a technicality we'll take it, but has also mentioned that maybe they're going to get into the NFT space. So maybe this was just a glimpse of what they have coming. So again watch out open, see, there is tons of competition out there or coming your way soon.
But the super bowl is very exciting. We also saw the bud light next commercial that featured the nouns. Which is something we talked about, those nouns glasses. That was really cool for me to see. And technically that was the first time. And Ft ever featured in a Superbowl commercial. So a bit of history there.
What did you think of that bud light ad? That was, it was really neat. I saw bits and pieces of it. Then I had to rewatch it because it. I wasn't really paying attention when I first saw it, but it was, it w it was what you expected, I guess it was pretty neat. I still go back to what I was saying on the episode before the super bowl in hope and hoping that this will push the nouns Dow out there a little bit more.
And we'll have more Dow's actually. Follow what they're doing. Cause I don't know why, but I really liked their style. I really like how they have done everything and just the fact that it's never going to end and it's a daily auction. Maybe a couple years from now when people might forget about or whatever, you might be able to snack one for really cheap, just out of nowhere kind of thing.
So I don't know. I think it's really cool. And I, hopefully they, we see a lot more of them because of the commercial. And the. Yeah, definitely. And something else, Brian is we gotta give a shout out. We talked about a couple players, right? So winning the super bowl and it wasn't his first super bowl ever Von Miller defensive player for the Los Angeles Rams.
And we highlight. Because he is the owner of a couple of board apes. So let me get this cowboy on the screen, right? This is his board aid that has been his profile picture before. He also owns two mutant serums that he has not used yet to make those NAPE yacht club NFTs. I'm wondering when we get news or anything on that, but cool to see someone who's so heavily involved.
In the NFT space, as far as athletes win a Superbowl tweet about it, be congratulated by the community. And then also we saw Odell Beckham Jr. Who has a dead fellows and FTS his profile picture. He also owns a crypto punk. And Brian, I don't know if you saw this picture. I just actually remembered about it to add it in here.
During the celebration he wants again, war his crypto punk. So here it is. I didn't see that the Lombardi trophy there is Odell Beckham Jr. On the right with his crypto punk on his shirt. I mean talk about a flax Superbowl champion, crypto punk owner. I love. And not the first time he also wore this way before.
We talked about that last week, Brian. Odell was having a great game. I was really rooting for him. I had, I may have had some money on him to win MVP. And then of course he got her. Which was very unfortunate. Sounds like it is a score one. So I was fine. I know he did get that touchdown yet.
So good call Brian. I did get some money off of that, but he didn't hit the over on the yards I needed. He didn't win MVP, so that would have been cool to hit those things. But again, my hats off to him, he has now a super bowl champion. But Brian, I think that's what we've got for Superbowl.
Anything else that really caught your eye or to talk about what the super bowl here? The halftime show was really awesome and it made me think about back when I was a kid listening to rapper a teenager listened to rap and all those people were. My favorite.
So I really liked that in sneaking Kendrick Lamar, but yeah, it was overwhelming on the sense of, we, we definitely maybe got a little over excited about how crypto and empty focus it would have been. But then if you look back on retrospect, it makes sense. There's not really much else to do besides commercials and stuff like that.
I was just hoping. I would have seen a lot more stuff, maybe on social media and different announcements, different drops, and just see a lot more trending stuff than just the usual just to have a halftime show, blah, blah, blah. It's a little underwhelming on just that small aspect of it. Overall.
I thought it was good. Yeah. And looking back now, I feel like maybe we should have thought that all along the fact that there were so many performers that there wasn't going to be room or time to really do anything NFT related. And also it's not like it was just Eminem and Snoop Dogg, performing who both owned board ape.
There were other performers who, to my knowledge don't own any NFTs. So what would that have Look would they have just stood on the stage watching, would they have bought some before? Would that have been part of it? And that, that performance Brian, you mentioned it.
Yeah, it took me. Years ago, listening to all those songs and I could've listened to that halftime performance for so much longer. And then it ended and it was like, oh shit, it's over. They all performed, so there probably wouldn't have been time to really get into anything crypto or NFT related.
But it was a great game and also a great halftime performance. And again, we did get some NFT and crypto connections via the commercials, at least. So a lot for us to talk about last week and of course today to wrap it up. But I think that's going to do it for Superbowl talk. Brian let's get into something we talk about a lot is the top 10 from last week.
So the top 10 and FTS by sales volume, we did have a couple, a new ones on the list here. So we had Kara Fu Ru was number one at 54.3 million pixels. Number two at 52.7 and then criminal punks came in third. Cool pet fourth ACCE, five board, eight, six, no surprise. A Zuki fell from one down to seven and then Clonex and mutant, Abe.
And then number 10 I believe it's CRA Bata. So Brian, I'm going to break down a couple of these cause they caught my eye. So Kara Fu topping the list. This one came out around 12 days ago. Now it's a collection of 5,555 floor price of 3.15. So it's an interesting one. And then pixel mine, it has really been talked about a lot and we might get to that later on in today's episode of these NFT projects with huge followings starting their mint price way too high.
So pick some on, had a Dutch auction. The starting price was three east. And now we have a floor of around 1.4. So people are literally underwater from where they got in depending on when they bought in this Dutch auction and then crypto punks. Brian, did you see the record?
Crypto punk 5 8, 2 2. For anyone out there watching or listening? It's one of the rare alien punk. So there are only nine of these alien punks in existence. And it sold for 8,000 EAs or $23.7 million. Brian, that is a huge price tag. And with that, we then saw a little bit of a run on a crypto punks.
And then of course cool cats and cool pat saw good volume because of the cool pets launch. The surprising one for me though, Brian Kirabati coming in at 10. This is based on the avalanche blockchain. It's a plater earn game sales volume, 18.2 million Brian, I don't know a ton about avalanche, but this game.
Tell me more about avalanche? I just saw an article that avalanche is now trending up because a DFI is coming back and I've actually seen a lot more mentions on different parts of Twitter that Defy's kind of making, not necessarily the same kind of run, but we're seeing the NFT.
Pretty much only focused now expand back to inclu, include a tokens and crypto into NFT and both or vice versa or NFTs with tokens or tokens with NFTs. So finally, we're having this mesh that. It should have been all along and maybe we'll see a lot more of these EIP or ERC 1, 1, 5, 5 protocols where you can have fungible and nonrefundable and tokenized assets all in the same.
Avalanches. Yeah, just another defy protocol with staking and all that kind of stuff. Just like Solano. We're just seeing a lot more rise in it. And that probably is why this and if T project had a big boom because AVX shot up 40% or something like that, the last little bit in a very short time.
Yeah. And I have the website pulled up in my browser because I've been meaning to do some research on this game and find out if maybe I want to get involved, but play to earn, we've got the typical mining, looting, breeding, and battling. Obviously looks a little bit similar to ACCE 64 breed types.
It looks like we're still in the early phase here though. So they have a demo for windows, Mac, and Andrew. They have a token, their own token, their own in-game currency. And then also the NFTs that are playable. This is interesting. I'm going to need to do some more research on it. Brian, but it's always nice to see something non related, pop up in the top 10.
Usually it's just ACCE. Occasionally it'll be something on like the wax black chain, right? Yeah. But lately we've been getting these other ones. Solana now, avalanche it's nice to see some difference and some diversification. And that's why when we did our interview recently with Solana legend, which we actually replayed yesterday, too Those NFTs have been kicking it.
It's an area I want to get more exposed to because I want more diversification in my portfolio. I'm definitely going to be checking out Kubota, anyone out there listening or watching has experience with avalanche NFTs hit us up, let us know. Cause maybe we can feature that in a upcoming episode.
Brian, I tuned into a Kula Twitter spaces yesterday. It was actually hosted by a Coinbase, I believe. And it was with a bunch of the women in the NFT space. So it actually featured a Reese Witherspoon. Known actress and entrepreneur, and then women behind So we had like dead fellows, world of women, long neck ladies.
And it was really cool just to hear like their perspectives, the different inspirations for their artwork and really get a spotlight. And from an investment perspective, Brian, we've seen a run on a lot of these women led projects. So to me, I was able to take notes right.
And less than, and see, okay. Which of these projects have taken off. People know about, but they still haven't taken off all the way. Because obviously world of women. Out of my price range right now, it's taken off a ton, but some of these other ones, I still think there's room to grow because they have that that factor, they have a good community, a good roadmap.
So a something I'm interested in. What do you think of some of these women projects? Brian? I think they're awesome. I liked the the. Ah, it's, it'd be really weird to say no, I don't like projects that are headed by women, but I really do that fact that we're having a lot more projects that are focused, headed up by women.
And they're making this a. I would agree that the crypto space has been inclusive over the past couple of years to be mainly male dominated, because it's just, maybe it's because of like how it all is laid out or I couldn't really tell you why I'm not. A social scientist or someone that could really explain the difference, but they're just not as many women led projects are really women in the space.
So it's really awesome to see a lot more of them. Kinda take charge, take ownership and kick ass because it, this crypto and blockchain empty any part of this space, it doesn't matter who you are, where you're from. You could be part any part of the country, any part of the world. Any demographic, any, anything whatsoever, and you can make a name for yourself in this space, and you can either tell people who you are, or you can be completely anonymous and be the creator of Bitcoin.
And no one knows who it is, but has changed every single person's life that you'll ever talk to for the rest of your day for the remainder of time. It's pretty cool. I really liked that, that we were seeing a lot more and they're taking charge of it and being. All I said that. Yeah. Yes.
Love it. Yeah. No, and a good, another good use case of Twitter spaces, right? An area that we've tried to grow with. Benzinga Brian, I know you're so active in the Twitter spaces. I've been trying to listen in on more, right? Obviously. I spoke on some weed co-hosted, but sometimes it's cool to just listen, and get that perspective from other people which is what the NFT community can be so much about. Different opinions, different artists, different perspectives. That was really cool for me. Brian one of the areas I've mentioned was that we had.
Some controversy in the NFT space. So we have some of these projects. Yeah. Nothing new, but it seems like it's really coming heavily lately. So the biggest things I see are a lot of these projects have large followings and then they're doing these high mint costs. And it's something that they're doing because they have the demand, or they think they have the demands. But then they end up not having as many people maybe as they thought, or some of these NFT well-respected names say, no guys like this isn't right. You shouldn't be doing this high mint costs. I've seen a couple lately. We had a serial club mint today and they did a Dutch auction and it just seemed like it was really high.
Squiggles, which we talked about not too long ago, they're meant they actually ended up getting delisted from open C they had some transactions that were questionable from team members, weather report, which we'll get into on the upcoming mint. Their former artists published a document today saying that he was only going to get 5% of royalties and the two co-founders.
Split 50%. So now there's a debate on whether or not weather report is going to make it. And then we also saw jacked ape club, which was another ape derivative project where we actually had some influencers not disclose that they were influencers. The project manager. But then we saw the founders kinda walk away with the money.
Which is something we never liked to see was it a rug poll time will tell because then we saw some other people start to buy him up and the floor price actually rose Brian what do you make of all this? I know I just rattled off a bunch, but there just seems so much controversy to where, if you're new to this space, how do you get into some of these mints?
You're almost better off. Going to existing projects, rather than trying to get in one and find one, that's not going to rug. I think you almost nailed it. Whenever you go into a mint and a not financial advice, of course, but everyone, you need to keep something like this in mind, if you're going to be trading stocks, assets options in MTS grip to anything with NMT is especially if you're going into a mint.
Just know that at that moment is the most speculative. The asset will ever be, especially in MTS, that being said, MTS are on their own. Are speculative in general because unlike cryptocurrency, unlike say we'll take a one ether. For example, one ether equals one ether, but one board API club token does not equal another board come together.
Everything's really subjective. So when you go into the minting aspect say the mint price is 0.06. They mint out, then they're on open sea and now they're going to be trading at 0.03 for the next six months. Do you hold onto it to goes back up to 1.3 or do you get rid of it and try to move on because you don't really want to hold something for six months unless the project keeps your attention, keeps you involved and keeps you motivated to stay in.
So I always wait until see things on open seat. See how much left is in the mint, and then go from there. I've mentored a couple of things, but I think of. Done to in my whole time where I made money off the mint, specifically over buying or minting and holding for awhile yeah. You know what we're trying to provide some education and guidance and Brian, that's where I try to be as honest as possible and we don't provide financial advice and I don't want to see anyone get hurt.
I don't want to see anyone lose money. And that's where I almost want to call people new to this. To look at existing projects that have been established. We know who the founders are. We know that they didn't walk away with the money. They're still active. The discord still active. The community is still active or they're projects that maybe you can buy in with the USD.
And get some some early experience with NFTs, right? Like dapper labs with top. Some of these other drops, right? It's just, it's so hard to get behind some of these projects that have these large followings. And then all of a sudden they say, Hey, our mid price is going to be four ease or our mint price is going to be one ether.
With the exception of cool pets, right? Cause cool. Cats was established their mint price was 0.5. I get that when Newton API club launched, everyone got a serum, but they also did a Dutch auction or a launch public launch. And that was a couple EAs. But again those people have clearly made a lot of money that meant then, but I think that price was warranted because they had that community, they had already done a successful launch.
I just really don't think some of these. Can a do these ones. Yeah. And we got nifty hunters in the chat saying, I believe in jacked, a club Bradley Martin took over the projects, Bradley Martin. I believe has a huge following on Twitter, a fitness person, I believe. He was active in that project and now seems to be in charge and again, the floor price did go up, but they did have some questionable influencers and questionable group of founders. And sometimes red flags are enough to just get me to steer clear of a project. And Brian, it's not like we only have five projects to choose from.
We got thousands. I get a number. So if I pass on one, there's more to choose from and that's. Anyone new to the space. I just want to remind you guys again, to be cautious out there. I've seen a lot of people get burned over the past couple of weeks. And unfortunately when people are new to the space and they get burned, usually that turns them away forever.
And that's not something that. For the space and to see NFTs, continue to grow, we need to get more people involved in the space as well. So just a word of caution, Brian, I didn't even put it in my notes, but I was actually thinking that metaverse right. You missed Thursday's episode.
Last week I had Mitch from Benzinga with me and we opened some packs from MBA, top shot and up all day, but we also spent some time in the metaverse. So we played around in decentral land and Brian, it's a date a day. Doesn't go by that. I don't see a headline or get to write about decentral land.
So today. I actually got to write about the metaverse. The Atlanta Braves are going to be the first baseball team to put their stadium in the metaverse. So they are going to create a virtual copy of their park. And the really cool thing here is for fans is they're going to have some Easter eggs and some scavenger hunts.
And if you're able to complete puzzles and win games, you can win. Maybe some tickets, maybe some memorabilia. And again, it's not like it cost you money. You're just hanging out in the metaverse. And then also J JP Morgan, one of the largest financial institutions out there, they launched a bank in the metaverse this week.
And they also put out a 18 page report, which Brian I'm still reading and working on articles about it. Talking about growth of the metaverse. They see it as a $1 trillion. I know market size. That is insane. But something we've heard other say, but to hear JP Morgan say yes, metaverse $1 trillion and they talk about the growth of work in the metaverse.
Even saying people in other countries could work from the metaverse and not have to worry about moving. To the U S or to other areas. So we could help some emerging markets, it could also help with gaming companies, which obviously we've seen all these. But what do you think Brian?
$1 trillion. Is that just hogwash or is JP Morgan onboard here and that's a legit number in the. No, I think that's absolutely legit number in the future. It's speculative, we say that word a whole lot, but yeah it was JP Morgan first off, so there is a little bit of credibility behind that whole conglomerate.
But also. Yeah, there's no telling like $1 trillion. I that's almost on the low end, in the whole grand scheme of things of what it can be worth in the next 20 years. Within the next five to 10 years, we're going to see probably double one. 2 trillion and who knows it's going to be its own entire ecosystem and decentral and the central land up land sandbox.
And there's maybe a few others, but those three, I think are the forefront of this whole thing. And yeah, it's no telling where they're going to be. And they're definitely going to be way bigger than Facebook and all these other ones. Yeah, but easy Chilean, easy. Yeah. And for those looking looking for more information, like I said, I'll have a couple articles out.
We have one up on Benzinger right now about JP Morgan opening that bank in the metaverse. So you can find a link to that report with that article. Brian. So metaverse huge talk obviously. I want to get to some upcoming mints, right? That's something we always like to do on the show. And again, I stress, right?
Not financial advice, Brian and I are not telling you to go out and mint these or buy these right. We're providing the data, the date, the mint cost, right? Some some information. Oh yeah. You reminded me of the New York stock exchange. They filed a couple patents and they are possibly exploring the metaverse right.
I actually spoke to a representative from the New York stock exchange it's spokesperson. And this is the quote that they gave me. Brian, the New York stock exchange has no immediate plans to launch cryptocurrency or NFT trading. The New York stock exchange regularly considers new products and their impact on our trademarks and PR protects our intellectual property rights.
According to. So a vague statement, right? That they don't have immediate plans, but they filed trademarks. So for those of you out there listening or watching the New York stock exchange, one of the largest exchanges in the world, they filed trademarks to potentially launch virtual currency, a NFT marketplace, NFTs, virtual events.
That's huge. And we've talked about it recently with McDonald's Panera. All these companies where they file and it doesn't mean that they weren't. But normally if you file a trademark, either means you want to block other people from using your brand or you have intent to do something with that.
So to me, I feel like there's intent here, right? Brian, that maybe. I see them launch if, Hey, they can make money off of people buying and selling stocks. Maybe they want a piece of people buying and selling NFTs. What do you think is the New York stock exchange going to take on open sea and Coinbase down the road?
Yeah, I think so. I think one, they be stupid not to form like kind of a. A tokenized version of stocks on their own anybody who is in any ticker that goes through the NYC it has a tokenized version to it. And then there, you open up this is legality and stuff like that.
We're not lawyers or anything, but you can open up a futures. You can open up a fractional. Shares, you can open up a ton of different things, even collateral against your tokenized stocks, because you have all your stocks in your portfolio. Then you also have a tokenized version of them. You get the tokenized version of them as collateral against a loan or may your margin and stuff like that.
There's endless possibilities, what they can use it for. And you know what New York stock exchange that's free. It doesn't consultants. Yeah we got Brian in the house giving some advice to the NYC and Ryan, you made some great points there. And I would highlight with what you said, the IPO process, right?
When a company decides to go. They can choose between listing on the New York stock exchange or the NASDAQ, are the two major ones and there's disadvantages and advantages to both. But what if the New York stock exchange has an NFT marketplace and can make that fractionalized trading option of your symbol, your ticker, your company, right as shares and the NASDAQ can't right.
That's a competitive advantage. And then. AMC, right? They did where everyone who owned shares got an NFT, it was part of their investor connect program. And what if the New York stock exchange could be like the. The middleman for something like that, right? If you're publicly traded we know who all your shareholders are, we can get that data and we can give all those people in NFTE.
So I really think there's strong use case here. And I was pretty excited to see at first, Brian, when I saw the headline, I was like, oh this is fake. The New York stock exchange files for NFT is I was like, no way. So I had to dig in and like I said, I was on the phone yesterday with the NYC.
Cause I wanted to hear it from them. We were able to get an article out and to get that source, that spokesperson in the article, that's something Benzing always tries to do. Is get the source, make sure they're reliable, but a great point there, Brian, on the New York stock exchange thing that they could do, which is something I thought might be interesting.
I'm just coming up with it. But they could also take the tokenized version and different time zones can all sync up to be like there. Preferable eight or nine 30 to 4:00 PM open and close. It could be on all their times, but you can also have the amounts of trade and volume, everything match up to where it wouldn't change anything throughout the country, but everyone's on the same thing.
I was just saying, there's so many possibilities that I'm just so many now we're excited and that would give us a ton more to talk about in a future episode. Let's get this some upcoming minutes. Brian, I mentioned this, we missed you on Thursday show. I had Mitch fill in one of Ben's thing is great video team members here.
I'm sure people had seen him before, across other shows. And one of the things we did was we opened up some packs, right? So I had some NBA top shot and an NFL all day past. Brian. I ripped open the NFL all day pack and I actually had a rare Patrick. My home's a moment. They don't have a marketplace yet, so I can't sell it.
But people in the chat were saying all that's going to be worth a thousand. That's going to be where 2000. I don't know what it's worth yet, but I was pretty excited. Guess what? There is another NFL all day pack drop happening this week. And this isn't just any old pack, right? So at 4:00 PM today, for anyone on the closed beta list.
So not if you're new, you had to already be on the. They are dropping 32,400 packs, $59 each. And you get four moments in the pack and at least one moment will be from the super bowl that we just watched on Sunday. So the very first ever super bowl moments from NFL all day. And then on Friday, they are also launching a premium pack, which will be $259.
No real details on this yet. But two drops this week and the most they had done before, that was one. So it looks like maybe NFL day getting ready to fire on all cylinders and maybe closer to a public launch. Brian, what do you think? Sports NFTE seemed like they're really here to stay. NBA top shot led the way.
And now we have these NFL moments launching is part of the problem here though. Could it be a timing? The super bowl is over the season's over. Are we going to cool off here? And maybe they they're going to see not as much demand as they thought at the end of the season.
What do you take on that? We'll see cause each sport has their own diehard fans. So now maybe we'll run over to basketball and we'll see a lot more like with top shot and stuff like that. And another thing that we're I saw that LeBron or not LeBron, maybe Dwight Howard, I'm gonna, I'm gonna make sure you get the name right.
Who it was, did a made like 330 something thousand dollars betting Bitcoin on the super bowl. And they, he only bet a big, oh, Drake, it wasn't a basketball player. It was Drake, sorry, but a Drake made a $381,000 from Superbowl Bitcoin bets. And so I think we're going to see a lot more crypto game.
It, now that there's a whole lot more sports betting because I like football more than basketball, but I like to bet on basketball more than I like to bet on football. Cause this is a lot more predictable. And I think with NFTs in this whole thing, not just remembering Billy and not just for collectors items, but with NFTs and cryptocurrency in general, we're going to see a lot more betting move towards crypto, as opposed to just or that secure.
A ACH transfer, all that nonsense. That's outdated and whatnot. You'll be able to verify people's location, age, all this other stuff. So I think we're going to see a big influx of that within this year. Yeah. And speaking of tickets in the blockchain, Brian, I hadn't even looked yet. I'm going to have to look after the show.
But we did have where everyone who attended the super bowl got that free Ticketmaster, NFL, NFT. And I hadn't looked to see what those were selling for yet. But again, sports NFTs I think are definitely here to stay and just gonna grow another mint that's coming up soon. This isn't per se a mint, but.
I don't think you had joined the show yet when we talk or no, I think you did. When we talked about crypto bats, the Ozzy Osborne and smattered. Yeah. Okay. So remember how we talked about how they had partnered with a couple of other NFT groups and eventually you were going to be able to do like this bite process, create a mutant bat.
I don't think you've seen this yet, Brian, but before you joined backstage today, we actually where to watching this video and having a good one. Brian, I want to share this crypto bats video. And to me, this is how you make a NFT hype video. Let's take a look at this guys. I really enjoyed this and I'm an Ozzy Osborne fan hats off to him to.
Do you hold NFTs, but don't know what to do with them. Do you wish your JPEGs have a little bit more powerful? Introducing the new muni bats, biding utility brought to you by using lines of code in the ERC 7 21 smart contract. You can have hours of fun. Simply visit crypto bats.com. Connect your wallet and select the NMT victim you'd like to buy.
The blockchain will magically create a mutant bet that you can call your own. Wow. On it. Doesn't stop there. Your cool new music fat who share the traits of both your cryptos and the victim might have a selection of blue chip projects, including foreign API club crib. Self ducks, alien friends and Cybercom street, the crypto bats floor today on open scene, but for, to learn to bite off more than you can.
Launches February 20th, crypto bats can only bite warrants visit crypto bats.com/ for more information. This is not investment advice. Brian, how about that? What an NFT commercial, right? And they even got Ozzy Osborne or participate. He probably has no idea what NFTs are wa you know, an ERC token is, but they did get him to participate.
Look at that. He looks so excited, Ryan. He is ready. He is ready. I didn't get into crypto bats cause I didn't make the white list and that project took off. I think the floor price now is 1.25. But I think it's really cool that they partnered with these projects. And you're going to be able to combine.
So if you have a crypto bat and you have a board ape you can do the biting process. And I just want to see what these look like. The mutant bats, I think they're going to look so cool. So I'm very excited about that. So that is February 20th. So that is first here on our list of some upcoming things February 21st sneaky vampiress syndicate, which is from sneaky vampire syndicate who were on a past episode.
Oh, this is their next project, Brian and a 0.16. Ease is the mint cost. But if you own a sneaky vampire, you have been collecting or earning the blood token. So you will actually be able to pay less by utilizing that blood token. So I liked that, you're rewarding existing members. The 0.16, I do think is a little high, but again, it's a well-established project.
They're been successful. The new collection will have a supply of 12,545. I don't remember if I put any of these pictures into the overlay here, but they look really cool. The sneaky vampire syndicate always reminded me a bit of Oh here's a vamp. Yeah, there we go. The sneaky vampire syndicate all released reminded me a bit of Adam Sandler's character in a hotel Transylvania the artwork, but I always thought this was really cool.
Brian. I'm interested in this. If I'm able to mint and get in at 0.16, or maybe a little bit more, that has been a nice community, right? The sneaky vampire. They also have that blood token, which they can continue to utilize. So that's one that's on my radar. What do you think or know about sneaky bay?
Not much besides what we talked about, we covered the I thought that they were really cool. I liked the art. They have a lot of this neat utility and I think the bats project is one of the cooler ones out right now because they've collaborated with a few other projects. I'm pretty sure wall street bulls has a similar aspect to theirs and.
Talked on the show and like on Twitter spaces with different projects that do have some sort of connection to other projects and written in the smart contract to where it's open-ended to where you can, if you hold this token address in your wallet, you'll actually get either. This NMT, this token will change.
This NMT will change or that one will do, or you'll get a whole new one, that kind of stuff. So I think that's really cool to include in your projects because you not only get your community, you get their community and you get different ones and everyone's coming together, driving the price up and always have a good time.
If you're a smart NFT token developer or a project, this is what you want to. Because you're eliminating yourself just by only your community, might as well join forces or have other people in. I think it's really cool. I like it. I can't wait to see what's next on the evolution of what's going to be the next hot topic as every other week, every other project.
There's something new and cool and exciting. And this is the last one. I think that's the most exciting to me so far. Yeah, no shout out to Gilberto Rodriguez in the chat. I know we've talked to him before with wall street bulls during the, those interviews and the chat and saying. They partnered with a lot of female projects.
So he got white list spots due to owning world the women. You heard me mentioned that Twitter spaces, and now we have sneaky vampire doing a female trait project. And that's one of the things with board apes is the board apes were all these male traits for the most part, which has led to some derivative projects that have been female.
Because board apes, hasn't done a female launched themselves. So I really liked sneaky vampire doing this themselves, creating a whole nother way. Also crypto dads, which I own, they did the crypto moms mint, where you got a free mom for holding a dad. There eventually we're going to have the crypto taught down the road, but I really am looking forward to this.
Brian. And another one we talked about recently with star catchers, right? So star catcher is very cool artwork. A big hyped project. Their mint date now is out February 22nd, a MC cost of 0.1, one, one east supply of 10,000. They just did a spaces recently with robotics and I know the robotics team.
I like that, that gives me some nice validation of the team because the last couple projects that we've seen that have these huge Twitter followings have ended up not being the greatest ones to get in. So star catchers has over 77,000 followers. But we actually have a hundred and common right.
Between me and them. Which I like seeing that, that means a ton of people in the NFT space. Follow them, look at that image right there. We got the backpack, the jacket and that star and that, even that background that is PFP a bowl right there. What do you think.
Yeah, I like it. I like the colors. I like the pastel aspect to it. Yep. Yeah. So again, that is star catchers and that is February 22nd 0.1, one one. All right. So February 23rd Brian, this is probably the biggest project that I have heard about or seen since makeover launched a couple of months ago.
Invisible friends. So invisible friends, February 23rd 0.25 Eve is the ma costs 5,000 supply. Their discord is now locked because they want to fight off any possible, but attempts when they do their mint. Last I looked invisible. France has 470,000 followers on Twitter. And I have 230.
Followers in common. Again, this is the biggest, most hyped and Ft project I've seen in a while, but Brian, there's only 5,000 and they're meant costs is 0.2, five. What do we think is going to happen? I know they have a big white list. So those people are going to be able to get in and probably avoid gas wars, but I don't know how many are going to be left for public.
But I just have the feeling that floor is going to go up significantly. And I actually respect this team a lot for keeping it at 0.2, five. Again, that's higher than we've seen other products. But the last couple projects that have had this big of a following have done a much higher mint costs.
So what do you think? Point two, five mint cost with this big of a following and only 5,000 supply. Was that the right call? Is it too high, too low? That's going to probably sell out very quickly and the floor price will be between on and to eith within seconds of it selling out. If if, even if it's that low I'm thinking higher.
I, this one has been really hyped and yeah. It's gonna, I think it'll explode. It might dip a little bit when people try to sell, get out. Cause it, if you are going to mint, one thing that I would do again, not financial advice. If you're. Try to always get multiple of them. Try to get more than one and do it at the same time.
So you don't pay ridiculous. You're not paying for one and just gas he's alone. Keep doing that more meant more than one. And then take your profits off one of them, or try to flip at least one of them. And if you have multiple more, but if you only buy one don't just flip it right.
When you get. I wouldn't flip it right when I got it. That's what I meant to say. You just hold it do what you gotta do. Maybe by more than one. Yeah. This project. Again, it's so hyped, I'm looking forward to it a 0.25. I'm not on the white list. I don't think I have any chance of getting one.
So I'll be looking at open C for secondary sales, but again, I just think that they're going to be too high pre reveal and I might get priced out of this. But the fact that it has this many followers and this big of a a community and hype I'm still going to take a look, and see and then Brian, on February 24th we have weather report. So weather report, I can't remember if we've talked about on the show. It's one that I've been following for a while. Another one where people are really drawn into the artwork. So they announced their mint date, February 24th.
I have not seen a mint price yet. Look at these images though. Really cool. Really unique. And the thing with this though, Brian, of course, as I said in the drama segment, they have. Some drama out there. The former artists took to Twitter today, released a paper, saying he was let go from the project.
He was promised 5% of royalties. The founders were going to get 50%. There was a huge disagreement. They stole his artwork and the list goes on. They did a Twitter spaces today. I don't know if the former artist was part of that Twitter spaces, if they all cleared the air, if they came to any agreement, my guess is that was probably one sided.
But who knows? So if anyone out there listening or watching knows, let me know, but otherwise I'll be sure to play the recording on that Twitter spaces later tonight. But Brian the fact that there's a little bit of a a phot on this project going into the, I don't love it.
When there's other projects that we could find a. But again, it should be on everyone's radar that the mint date is February 24th and we'll definitely keep everyone updated. And then last on the list, February 20. We have wonder pals, minting wonder pals the wonderful artists MENA a collection of 10,000.
Brian, look at those. They're so cute. They remind me of some of these other projects. And the thing I love about this project is that when we had like toy boogers on and some other. They love this artist. They love the project. Look at that mid price 0.08. Let's get cement back under 0.1.
I love it. This one's on my calendar February 26, 10000.08. What do you think? Have wonder pals here, Bri? Yeah, like that. I liked the price. I liked the art and I liked the. Just the whole aesthetic. Cause that's kinda my style. I really liked those like the cartoony, but like the pastel colors kind of thing.
I like it just on a aesthetic. Just by looking at it. That's what I like. So I'm down with them. I like, I don't know if I'm going to get into them yet. I got to see more about it, but from just the way it looks, I do really like it. Definitely. All right. We're running out of time here, so I just want to recap, cause that was a some big projects that are coming up over the next two weeks.
So again, today we have NFL all day dropping packs where you get a guaranteed Superbowl moment inside those packs for moments $59 32,400 packs available on February 20th, we have crypto bats being able to bite and another NFT project for the first time to turn into a mutant bat floor price on crypto bads.
Currently 1.25. February 21st, we have sneaky vampiress syndicate launching from sneaky vampire syndicate 0.16 east mint price. Or you can utilize your blood token for a cheaper cost. That collection 12,545. A supply. On February 22nd star catchers, 10,000 NFTs 0.1, one one east mint price, February 23rd, invisible friends 0.25 east 5,000 supply.
Their discord now lacked over 700,000 followers on Twitter, February 24th weather report. And then February 26th, wander pals, 10,000 NFTs 0.08. There I got through on Brian. That was a lot to rattle off, but again, a big part. What we want to do of the show is letting everyone know what's project should be on their radar and they should be looking forward to, so we'll let everyone know.
If any more pop up. Brian, one thing I do know is I saw an update from Photofinish the Solana based horse racing game. And I think maybe we're going to have to talk about that on an upcoming episode and get more into some of these Solana projects, because I wrote an article about that interview with legend.
And there was I listened to it again, Brian, when he named his top five and man, that guy is so smart and those five that he named. Yeah. I got to get some Solana and I got to start getting into these projects, especially getting my stable setup and photo finish. What do you think Brian?
We're we're going to have to buy some Solana enough to use right now. I'm two steps ahead. All right. Brian, anything else to add before we wrap for the day? All right. We will see everyone tomorrow, as Brian said to take care of 2:00 PM Eastern time tomorrow, again, shout out to everyone watching us live, watching us on replay and listening in on the podcast.

So today's show is sponsored by FTX U S one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world in terms of trading volume and daily use.
The FTX app is used by over 6 million people to buy crypto and NFTs with no transaction or withdrawal fees, you can buy NFTs on the FTX, us trading platform on the Ethereum and Solano blockchains with no gas fees to find out more click on that link in the description below, and also right now in the chat.
So shout out again to FTX, and if you have not checked them out yet, I would suggest that you click on that lake and see what they are all about. And speaking of hearing what something is all about, I've got Benzinga zone money, Mitch, joining me on the stream today. So welcome to the road. Mitch what's going on, brother.
What's going on guys? I think I tried to match the background. I hope I nailed that down. Let's go ahead. Let's get to it. I know that I'm relatively new 10 FTEs, still learning myself, but I have been doing more and more research on the metaverse. We'll get a little bit into that. I know Chris is going to lead into that and you guys out there do me the favor, hit the thumbs on up, and also let me know.
Are you new to NFTs? Like I am. Let's go ahead and learn a little bit about it. Yeah, Mitch. I'm super excited to have you on and that's a great point that you said is that NFTs is not your specialty, right? It's a market where you're still trying to learn. And that was one of the reasons why Benzinga created the roadmap, our NFT show, is that we wanted to have. Some NFT projects with exclusive interviews, which we've done already and also to provide education to people. So people who are new to the space, people looking at which projects should they be looking at, et cetera. So today we're going to dive into the metaverse right.
And kind of bridge that gap between NFTs, the metaverse and publicly traded companies, that are getting into the metaverse. If you saw today's title and that thumbnail, we're also going to open up some NBA, top shot packs, Meg. I'm super excited about that. That's something you and I have done live on stream before.
It's always so much fun. Cause it's that surprise element. It's like opening a pack of trading cards as a kid. I'm excited about that. Let us know in the chat right now. If you're here. Should we open up a bunch of NBA top shop packs, cause I've got a bunch and I will also be opening up that NFL all day pack, which right now you can't even go and buy, unless if you were high enough on the wait list, which I fortunately was.
So with the super bowl coming up, I'm excited to open that pack and see who I get as well. Let's dive into the, metaverse met. So Metta versus a term that was created in a book a years ago, snow catch or was the book and Facebook right. Changed their name to meta platforms. And they're going to change over to the ticker Metta I'm ETA and they are going all in on the metaverse.
But they're not the only ones we keep getting press releases. We keep hearing more and more stories about the metaverse and one story that I saw a match that obviously got a lot of attention out there on socials. That there was a wedding hosted in the metaverse. So we have a story out on Benzinga and it is that 2000 people attended a virtual ceremony between Ryan and Candice Hurley from Phoenix.
It was the first couple to tie the knot into centrally and a wedding in the metaverse. And it actually was witnessed by a Supreme court justice, Clint Bolek to certify that marriage. So Mich weddings in the metaverse. Is that something that you know is just a one-time thing here and goes away?
Or do you think there's a market there for some companies out here to say, Hey, we'll marry you in the metaverse. Yeah I definitely do think that you're going to start seeing not only this will be the first, but I think you're going to start seeing a lot. Weddings are expensive and one way that we usually go around those expenses are what invite people that are around this, right?
Like in the same city. The hard thing. It really is when you have like international weddings, let's say if you're in Spain and you're trying to attend a wedding all the way here in the United States, or like some people they want to go ahead and get that environment. Hey, I live in the mountains.
I would love to do a wedding in a beach environment. Why not just do it in the metaverse so I think it's interesting to see that. I think definitely you're going to see more and more come out of that. The average cost of a wedding here in Colorado is over $30,000. Somehow I don't think this one costs over $30,000, but it could be something to definitely think about.
I, myself am starting to dip my toe in decentral land. You guys want to check out a little bit? I think we do. I think we want to see decentral land. I wanna hit Happy's comment real quick. He said, I thought Facebook changing to M V R S. Are they able to get Mehta now? I am able to report and put in my last Facebook article that yes, Facebook is changing their ticker to M E T a.
For those who didn't know. ETA was the ticker of the metaverse ETF from our friends at round hill Mitch, but they changed their ticker to MeTV. And now Facebook owns ETA. So I don't know what happened in that exchange, but it is now owned by Facebook. But Mitch, let's see the central land here in action and get into the metaverse.
People hear about the metaverse, but what is it? What does it look like? Go ahead. Let's dive right in there. I'm actually in there right now. If you could throw me on the screen right there you guys have, there we go. Look as money Mitch in the metaverse guys. Let's go. Let's go to the rooftop guys.
Let's go. Let's go on up. Let's see, this is so cool. And Mitch we've been playing around with this before the show started. And you were exploiting the metaverse here into central land. I know what I'm going to be doing later because after I get done working and the kids go to bed, I'm going to be checking out to central land and the sandbox and some of these other areas, because it is just fun to be in the metaverse.
And that's really what we wanted to get into. Not just fun. There's actually utility and actual brands building around that. A one brand that's connected to the metaverse that I always hear about. Cause my kids love it. It is roadblocks, right? So roadblocks is similar to this where you're playing a game at the virtual world and you can build on top of it.
You can create games, create apps within that virtual world and the national football league partnered with roadblocks. So they're gonna create destruction house, which is an interactive event. So that's exciting, Mitch. We've had concerts in the metaverse right? So that's another factor I heard about dead mouse.
Yeah. We really saw the metaverse kick in during the pandemic too, right? Because let's say you're a musician and you weren't able to tour, because of restrictions, you could host a concert in the metaverse. So create an event, you pick the location and then you have all your fans show up.
And they can listen to your concert. You can use it as a way to promote a new album or new songs and also get them to buy stuff. So it's win-win for everybody. And you're playing to central land right now to central land. And the sandbox are the two big ones. We're going to talk a little bit about some other plays as well, but Mitch, how much fun are you having right now?
Just playing around in the central. No, I'm having trouble listening to you, Chris. Cause I'm just trying to get to the rooftop. I know here I am rambling around and you're just like, I'm on a mission. I'm going to get to the roof top. I'll tell you one thing, guys. I have this turned up to the highest you can have the graphics.
So that's why you see a little bit of lag, but even my computer while I'm streaming, while everything's going on is being able to handle this. So a new computer, I would definitely say that you can handle. The furthest on the graphics. That was one of my thoughts were how are the graphics going to be?
And a lot of computers use this, or is it going to be more, just your high end computer? And I built my computer three or four years ago yet. It's a little high end, but you guys could definitely do this. Another area that I'm looking, another world that I'm looking at is of course.
Block Topia. And so let's talk a little bit about block Topia. I'll go ahead and just leave this on. I'm learning just about this. And I did a little bit of research and one thing that you can clearly see is there's some bigger companies on here. You even got crypto boy, Jake Paul on here. I saw WWE as a part of this.
Let see. Lamborghini is going to be interesting. This one's a little bit more futuristic. It's a building that has 21 floors. And so you'll be able to, of course 21 the Bitcoin thing there we'll see if we can get on through the levels. I think this is supposed to be released here in February.
So I'm super excited to find out a little bit more about block Topia and see its see use that this one looks like it's going to be pretty good on the VR. Yeah. And there you see some of the backers there. Jake, Paul polygon is a backer and some other well-known companies. Yeah. And we got Logan in the chat saying when Lambo, cause you said them.
Of course. So yeah. There, you have it on screen. Learn, earn, play. So you can, it's a play to earn game as well. Which is something we talked about earlier this week, that video game companies need to be in play to earn, that's a huge growing market. It's a way to monetize your assets.
So that's what I like about black Topia. And also as you see flashing on the screen, they already have big brands attached. And like when the sandbox and decentral land law, They were really tied to NFT brands, that wanted to buy land there to connect with their large followings, their discords.
And here you already have black Topia, these huge partnerships where it took decentral land at sandbox months to get some of these big brands on board. So nice. Call-out here, Mitch. I'm excited about this one as well. Yeah this video looks so cool as we see the different things.
And we got Zen bullish in the chat saying yes, NoOps mansion. Yes. Of Snoop is partnered with the sandbox which Mitch, that's something Brian and I talked about yesterday. We do have Snoop dog performance. Superbowl halftime show. What if he were to do some sort of reference to the metaverse during his performance, maybe he disappears from the day she comes back as a hologram avatar.
What about that? Yeah, it could be a, you never know, really the Superbowl loves to try new things. So one of the things that you have been seeing is more and more virtual studios, and how is that going to play into with NFTs VR? AR I think this is a great way to bring it in one thing that I definitely want to look out for is. Actually wearing an FTS. I would love to see maybe like him rocking like a necklace or something that has like the NFT, like literally digitalized it right on him. I think he's going to do something special. It's Snoop. Yeah. We're going to see, we're going to see some sorta item with NFTs during halftime.
I just know it's going to happen. There's been lots of rumors out there. I'm an admin, Snoop Dogg, both on board ape yacht club, NFTE, Snoop Dogg owns a ton of NFTs. So I really think we're going to see interest there and I got to do it. I got to do it for us. I know monetization's off.
So let's just go.
Let's go. Let's go. Awesome. Yeah. I mean that halftime show. Excited about this one. I haven't been as excited about some of the recent halftime shows just cause maybe it's been musicians that I just don't know as well or don't listen to. But these are people that I grew up listening to Mitch and you as well.
It's bringing back that those decades and I'm excited. Of course I'm excited about the game as well. And the crypto commercials, the NFTs and everything that goes along with that. And Mitch, I want to get back to the metaverse and some of these big brands, right? So we saw you walking around in there, right?
And there was like a movie theater in different places you could visit. So brands are starting to trademark their company names and different items for the metaverse. So I don't know if you heard this McDonald's right. One of the biggest restaurant companies in the world, they filed to open virtual food and beverage products, downloadable multimedia files that could include NFTs and.
Online virtual concerts. That's pretty big, right? And it doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to happen. It could just be, McDonald's trying to protect their trademarks, that does happen from time to time. But Mitch, here's my favorite in that trademark filing. And this is from Josh. Gerben on Twitter from Gerben law.
There it is on screen. Mitch, how about this one? McDonald's file. Then it says operating a virtual restaurant, featuring actual and virtual goods operating a virtual restaurant online featuring home delivery. So you go into decentrally and you walk up to your McDonald's you say, Hey, I want a big Mac. And then 10 minutes later, ding dong a food delivery company is at your door with your big.
Is this real? Is this going to happen? What do you think of this Mitch? Yeah. Why not? One of the things is that we always love convenience. And if you can be convenient right inside the game what if you're just playing, you get hungry, go to McDonald's dude. What are you doing?
You're wasting time. They're going to use your phone. You could just literally actually go to McDonald's in the metaverse. I think that's in the long run too. Not only is this going to be playing into, let's say restaurants, but even let's say services. What about a metaverse grocery store where you pick the items in the metaverse and then all of a sudden go Walmart site?
Actually, I think Walmart's actually testing that. I think I saw where they have a shopping cart and you go on the metaverse and you like, see the items on the shelves and you can pick it off the shelf. You can read it and you can add it to your car. Amazon's an easy one here, right? Like Amazon, for years, it's been able to get people to add stuff to their carts online.
And if they could do that in the middle. But McDonald's, to me, the screams, Hey, which food company wants to get on board and do this right. Food delivery, because you got Uber eats, you've got grub hub, you got DoorDash. They saw huge growth during the pandemic. When people weren't eating out at restaurants, they were ordering food to get delivered.
If one of them partnered with McDonald's and this thing became real, it seems like a joke. But I really think. It's worth a shot. And I think McDonald's is going early here. First mover advantage. Another company that filed for the metaverse was Panera. So they actually are trying to trademark Panera verse.
So instead of being in the metaverse Mitch someday, you might be at the Panera verse. So that's interesting. A good play on words. And the interesting thing from Panera's filing was it said that if you, in the future, if you eat virtual food, you could be rewarded with Panera rewards points. So how about if you go to your Panera verse, you eat some fake food and you earn rewards points to then go to a Panera and use them.
Again, it's all about utility, right? I'll take my cinnamon crunch bagel, please with my honey Walnut. That's you can't go wrong. And Panera's coffee. Who knows. Definitely. I'm gonna, I'm going to go ahead and say Panera is making the move of just not trying to be left behind, right?
Yeah. I think this is also the move here by McDonald's and Panera is that if this does take off, they're ready and if it doesn't then guess what they're also ready. And I think that's more important is to be ready into what's going to happen in the metaverse of course we're hearing that word being thrown around, back and forth, and really what this all has to do to me is utility, right?
It's the utility between NFTs and crypto. And I always talk about the underlining assets, right? And so I, to me, the metaverse is that word over the top and everything falls underneath it, the NFTs, the cryptos, and also the utilities, the games that are being created, the technology behind that's all just funneling.
Definitely and match another company that looks like they're going to go heavy into the metaverse in the future is Disney. And this is one I've been screaming from the rooftops on this show that Disney should be doing NFTs, right? They should be doing NFTs. They should be in the metaverse right.
They're one of the largest media companies. They have such a huge portfolio of brands and they reported earnings yesterday and CEO Bob . He said that they believe the opportunity for the Walt Disney company goes well beyond these channels. It extends to sports betting gaming and the metaverse so sports betting and metaverse seemed like they're going to be two areas of huge growth.
And he said that they are going to be aggressive in getting into the metaverse and that's pretty important. And he also called it top of mind when analysts asked him how far along were. Met you mentioned not just restaurants but like services and stuff. What about if someday, instead of going to like YouTube for the new, let's say like star wars trailer, you have to get into Disney's metaverse and you have to go to their event to watch that movie trailer.
That seems like a big win for Disney for me that instead of utilizing YouTube to show off their trailer there, they're going to own a piece of it in the metaverse. What about something like that? Yeah. I'll just show here, right? Decentral land you can see here on the bottom right corner movie evening in the metaphor.
Why can't that just be done with Disney plus right. Here we go. You could just go ahead and you can sign up for Disney plus, and that's how you get access inside the building. And then next thing you know, you can just sit down with people that you probably didn't know before. Next thing you're making new friends while you're watching the content that Disney has to offer.
I think that's something that definitely could be going on. I want to call out easy Mike in the chat here, Mitch. I don't know if our like, counter is broken, but that can't be real guys, right? That we only have nine likes right now. I think maybe YouTube is broken. I know that's not true.
Yeah. Cause if that's the case, Mitch, you probably gotta go. Cause you got other stuff you could be doing. Maybe I don't want to open up all these packs because there's not that many people here that are excited. I really want to open them. So let's get those lights. Also, I've been doing some research.
I got an NFT dimension I've been looking at ones that could potentially really still kick off. We've been seeing plenty of different projects come out there, but I did do a little research. I've been looking at one that maybe take a chance on you guys smash the so they can give that.
Yeah. And we're going to get into that in a minute. One that you've heard about and that's something that always gets me excited, right? Is that when people who aren't heavy into the NFT space, if there's a project that they've heard about, or that they're interested in to me to go back to a stock market term and not financial advice, but that makes me pretty bullish.
Because if other people are hearing about it that's a big deal. That's what we're seeing with board API club, is that people who don't even know NFTs people that don't own NFTs. A lot of them still know what board apes are, because of the valuation. Because of the increase in value because of the celebrities that own them, because it's lots of people's PFP on Twitter and the list goes on.
Mitch, do you want to tell everyone what NFT it is that you are excited about and that caught your eye from someone who hasn't been heavily following the. Yeah. So let's before I actually pull it up, one thing I want to talk about is different features right. Of NFTs, right? That's one of the main things is, so how's the art, is it static?
Is it dynamic? What kind of features do they have? Is it an ape? Is it a penguin? Are we talking crypto? Is that it's here? And so one of the things that I've been noticing is more and more, we're getting leads, higher quality ones that come out. And what I mean by higher quality, to me, it's more detail in the art, right?
And so the more detail you can bring in the art, the more exclusive I feel the art is. And so let's go ahead. Let's take a look here at the research that I've found. I found out about this one. I'm sure you guys have already covered it on the roadmap. Let's talk about. Invisible friends. So invisible friends is one that I really like now just cause one of the things is they're invisible.
So the only thing that stands out are those features. And I think that's the important part. The people don't make it different. It's the actual things that the NFTs are wearing or bringing into it that I think really brings that exclusivity. As you guys see here there's some pretty cool ones like this basketball one.
I could use a baseball one. I wouldn't mind putting that as my, and you could see here with the Gator polling, you see this guy over here, this looks like Sean McVay. Sean McVay should definitely buy this plays out. Let's go. So definitely I think it's interesting. Look at this.
Look, what that has. Do you see their candles, baby? All I see is candles. All I know is I would take that right now if I could. These are interesting, Chris. And when are these supposed to come out? I know that they were talked about in February. Do we got a date yet? Yeah. So one thing Brian and I mentioned earlier this week was that invisible friends had a tweet out and they asked the chat.
They said on Twitter, should we announce the mint price? Or should we announce the mint date first? And the winner of that poll was I believe the mint date. So let's get that on screen. There it is. Mint date, February 23rd. So put that on your calendar. Every want to get not financial advice.
Today's the 10th. We've got about two weeks, right? Until that mint date happens. And Mitch, that this thing has just blown up. They've got hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitter, hundreds of thousands of people in their discord. And that, like you said, that artwork is sweet, the dynamic, right?
The fact that it has motion, it moves around. We've got different colors, I think pop on the screen, different traits. I love the basketball and other ones. I'm excited about this. I'm not on the white list. I want to shout out. We got strictly three sports in the chat that says he got white lists.
He or she got the white list for invisible friends and can't wait to next blue chips. Not financial advice, but to me, yeah. This one has been thrown out as a possible blue chip. And that's a term that I don't want to just say lightly, but again, large following, I think this is one that people are really gonna want to be in.
And Mitch, we talk about supply and demand. And when you were first scrolling through there, I saw on the screen that there is only going to be 5,000 of these available. So to put that in perspective, the majority of your big NFTE PFPs and the big collections, are around 10,000. Some of them have done like 8,888 or 7,777, or occasionally we get the 6, 9, 6, 9, but 5,000, that is an incredibly low number compared to their following Mitch. This thing's insane. That the one thing that concerns me a little bit is they haven't announced the price yet. So when that comes out yeah. So they could be greedy if they want it to that's kinda up to the project leads, right?
Cause if they wanted to they could charge you no one Eve probably here even more. We just saw one earlier this week, pixel mine that charged a couple EAs because it was such high demand. Then the floor price dropped and now they're not even worth what people paid. So sometimes that can backfire I'm excited about this one.
And Mitch, the thing with this is to get on the white list. It was really hard. They had all kinds of different things. You could own a couple of their previous NFTs, or you could be really active in the discord. You could submit artwork make your own invisible friends, but Mitch, for someone from the outside, who's not active in the NFTs. What do you think projects with high demand should do? Should they really make it to where the most active people the people who spend the most hours in discord get rewarded or should they try to level the playing field and make it more of a raffle or a constant.
To see who gets the white list. What do you think? I think this is an awesome conversation to have, especially for you new NFT investors, probably looking at it the same way I'm looking at it. A lot of times when I want to actually start dipping my toes and taking more and more NFTs, I do have very few, but nothing high valued.
And when I want to start taking some more NFTs, I go to do it. And then I realize, oh, I'm not white listed or I got to do such and such thing just to even get an opportunity to maybe get the NFT. And I think that's the important part here is that the one of the things is by having a free market, I think would be better.
What I mean by free market is that literally, Hey, if your internet is quick and it gets to that by then, Hey, you get it. I'll compare it to some of the NFTs that I've seen. So I do have NBA top shot and NBA top shot changed over to that kind of more reserve your pack and then show up.
But then I also first started more in that top scheme. Remember when tops first came out and remember you and I were able to get some packs when a lot of those will work first, come first serve for those types of packs. Yeah. So that's a perfect example. So two different sides, of the business strategy there.
And to me, I personally. Enjoy the tops. One more than I enjoyed going after top shots, which I just had to like show up and then yeah. The problem's always going to be the potential for bats, or people creating multiple accounts. So let's say that we actually saw this with makeover.
Some makeovers Mitch was looked like transformers. That was one of the, yeah. So that was one of the biggest releases ever in terms of following. And they did a a raffle, where you essentially went to a website at the time you clicked a link and then they awarded spots to random people.
It was luck of the draw. And I believe they're meant price was 0.5. Either 0.5 or 0.25. Now I can't remember. But then the floor price actually had five east and of course, a month or two later now we're trading under one east, I believe. And it's interesting though. 'cause that, that goes back to the demand, right?
So a project like that, you have all this demand at the start and now look at it. The floor price has fallen because you didn't reward. Maybe you're a loyal consumer. That's another reason why a project maybe you should reward the people that are the most active and discord, the people who win contest, the people who contribute, their mods and your discord, they help people learn in your discord because they're going to stick with you, right? Don't you want the people who are going to stay along for the ride rather than people who are just clicking a button and then gonna to flip it and make a quick buck. This conversation could go on forever Mitch cause like I've participated in all these different ways.
I've gotten NFTs all these ways, right? I've been on wait lists or white lists. I've had to get in discords and post a certain number of times and level up to get on a white list. I've won raffles, I've won contest and I've done NBA top shot and tops where it's just kind of luck of the draw or who's quickest.
So all the methods work, there's no necessarily wrong approach, but a great topic here. So Mitch, you said the tops one just click in a first come first serve as one of your favorite. Yeah. My thing is just that I like the hype that, that creates, I liked the hype that I created for what it can actually open.
It creates more like the IPO kind of strategy and stocks. When you get an IPO yeah. You got the kind of the insiders, the banks that get to go after it. But now we're getting shots like with like companies like sofa and Robin hood, that gives an attempt to get into the IPO before it actually opens to me, I think things like that are what I want to be looking for.
I understand rewarding community members, because at the end of that day, that's what we try to do here every day. Is build a community. And so I understand, and I know that. Loyal community members should always be treated a little bit higher than let's say a brand new viewer.
But from that perspective, I just think about it as we don't always want to just double and triple down on only our community. We want to also reach out and get to the mass. I think that's how you really take off in the utilities of these NFTs is not only just going towards the people that are using it right now, but to some new users and ex and showing them that there is utility.
Yeah, definitely. And some great points and let us know in the chat guys, if you're watching us live right now share what your favorite way is to get into a project, right? Do you want to grind it out in the discord and get rewarded for being loyal? Do you want to just go to people who are the quickest to click on something or just random right around.
To the luck of the draw, right? What's your favorite way? And I see a couple people in here. Yeah. Talking about top shot and we're going to open those top shot packs in a little bit, Mitch, and we have so many gusts on here, Mitch, and it would, I think it would surprise you.
Maybe not that like, when we talk to people behind these big NFT drops and I asked them, Hey, what was the first NFT that you ever bought? Or how did you get into NFTs? The majority of them, Mitch majority say that NBA top shot was their first NFTs and the way they got in, not a ton of people got in buying crypto punks and crypto kitties years ago.
Top shot changed the game. And that's why I think it's so important. Really go back to some of these sports NFTs because the sports fan market is just massive. So these people they've already collected trading. They've already collected tickets, they've already collected autographs and sports memorabilia, they know about collectability and they want to own an FTS because of that. I think that's a good reason. And speaking of sports NFTs match, we have the super bowl coming up on Sunday. And Brian and I did a whole show on Superbowl NFTs yesterday. Cause there's so much to talk about. That's the insane part, but ticket master has partnered with the Ana.
And every person that attends the Superbowl. So over 70,000 people can get a free NFT and it is a copy of the ticket. I think we still have that. There it is met. So you and I actually talked about this, I think like on a different stream. Months, years ago. Yeah. The ticket master should be doing NFTs of concerts of sporting events.
The NFL is doing it. And the cool thing is that, so everyone who attends the super bowl gets this ticket. But to me, I think a lot of people are going to turn around and sell it, because maybe you go to the game and you don't even like either team, right? You just go for the experience and to be able to say, Hey, I went to the super bowl.
Maybe you want to make some money back, to pay for your ticket, your hotel, whatever people are going to start listing the Sunday and Monday. And this is it's historical, right? Because it's going to be the first NFL ticket as an ad Ft. The day the Superbowl happened, right? You can always go back and make NFTs a past Superbowls, but this is going to be the first one.
So I'm going to be watching on Sunday to see how quick people sell these. And yeah, and we got happy in the chat saying tickets scalpers and put tickets on the blockchain. That's something Brian's actually talked about and he's trying to work on making tickets on the black chain to prevent ticket scalping.
Mitch, what do you think of this this NFT? How does it look? And is this something, if you were a fan of the Rams or the bangles, you can't go to the Superbowl. Is this something that you would want in your car? Yeah, definitely. If you're a fan in a super fan of these kind of teams that's already going to get you into it, right?
Let alone, if a team actually wins the super bowl too, that's gonna push you a little bit over, if I was a Bengals fan or if I was a Rams fan, depending on which team won, I'd be like, okay, I need a piece of this. But one thing that I think that it wasn't done here that I think you and I have talked about in the past was should they have made certain seats have some special to these NFTs?
I think that's what they should have done. I think let's say if you were front row at the super bowl, it should be like gold. Like this, you should be shimmering and gold or things like that. I think those are the types of feature that I was looking for in tickets for NFTs, really, to play into because Jess going to a concert or going to in a sporting event is something.
But there's something else going in front row, right? Yeah. And Mitch, that goes back to the conversation we just had, about should the loyal people be rewarded, should the people that spend money be rewarded. So one thing I saw earlier this season that the Dallas Mavericks did right. Was when they retired Dirk Nowitzki, his Jersey, every person in attendance got a free NFT.
And that, and I F T it was almost like a a 3d, like Bible had, right? Like an avatar, a decentrally and character right. Of, of Dirk. It looks sweet. Jerks in all time, legend NBA mean we watched him play growing up. And what they did though, was there was random rarities.
And those weren't based on your seat, it was just random. So if you had a front row ticket, you had the same chance of getting the legendary version limited to 50, as someone who sat in the nosebleed seats. So again, That goes back to should we randomly do it? Should we do it based on where you sit?
So I love that argument mentioned again. We could go on forever about that, but again, I love the fact that you could go to a sporting event and get a free NFT. It just completes that experience. And it also provides value. Let's be honest. It wasn't free. You paid for your ticket. Yeah. There you go.
You could actually, the Dirk Nowitzki retirement nightmare. If I lived closer to Texas, like I would have probably gone because the cheap seats were like 120 bucks. Those NFTs were selling for 250 bucks. That's double. So you just got to go to a game for free and you got paid come on.
This is why all these companies in sports teams, you should be at least exploring NFTs. But enough about that match. I know we're not close to running out of time yet, but I also know how long it takes when we opened some packs up. So I think we're getting to about that time. And I have a lot of NBA top shot packs to open.
And I don't want to say the number because we might not open all of them today. I want to see the light count, get up. And for anyone who's watching us live right now, I want to see those ones. If you want to open some packs with us, smash that and start putting a one in the chest. And I will be opening up these top shop packs.
And then by the end of the show, we're also going to open up that NFL all day pack, which I'm excited about. And who knows, maybe I'll get a Matt Stafford moment to my favorite player in the super bowl because he was a lion for awhile, but they're those ones come in, Mitch. What do you think?
Are you ready to see me open up some top shot packs or no? Let me see if I can get the rally going here. Rally team rally. Let's hit those likes. It's getting going. Let's get excited. We're about to open some brand new packs. And you talked about there that some people started taking their dip and toes about top shots.
Look at me with my little three moments. I took a shot on top shots also in a lot of that was. That was because of you, Chris you opened it up to me and really started telling me about NBA top shots really early. I think this is before we were even talking about specs. That's the interesting part here is that you've definitely have led the way here.
And taught me something and I took a shot on top shot. Yeah. These moments aren't the biggest moments, but I also took a shot on those tops cards and I ended up making really good money and kept some, and with that money ended up getting some higher valued cards that I still hold to this day.
So I, no, we don't have historical value to cause they were the first of something. We got Logan in the chat saying 1 million likes or no packs. I don't know. I don't know about that. If we got a million likes on a video match that'd be a happy day here at Benzinga.
Maybe in the future, we can hit that. Mitch. All right. So I have a lot of packs and they go back over the past month. I've got new ones. I've got old ones. I even have some from last year's playoffs. Playoff moments. I've even got some archive ones. Maybe we'll get a Shaquille O'Neal moment.
So let's open some up. So up first the new one that I got was a Kevin Durant's certified pack. And this one, before I share my screen here, this one has four moments in it. You have a 73% chance of getting all four commons. Which is what the majority of people got. 24% also got a limited edition one, and then it goes down from there.
So I'm not expecting a ton out of this, but let's see if I share my screen here, we get into top shot. All right. All right. So here we are. You guys can see that, and we have this Kevin to ramp pack here. I've got my sound on. That was the heartbeat. Are we ready? All right, let's go. Let's go.
Let's see. Let me know. You guys can still see this right. All right. All right. Are we ready? Let's click to reveal, right? We've got common. Of course. A layup. Oh, Devin Booker. Hey, not a bad one to have. All right. All right. Up next. We've got a dunk. Ah, Justin. Okay. Oh Holly. Oh, there we go up. They left them open. Shouldn't have done that. All right. So these are both numbered out of, oh, that Devin Booker was a limited edition. I didn't even see that much. That's out of 10,000, so we did get a limited edition. Okay.
We're doing okay then. All right. And now we got another dunk here taking it all the way to the hoop. I can't give people space like that. And then we got one more moment in this pack, which I'm guessing is going to be a common since we already got that limited edition, we got an assist to the big man.
There we go. Who Raul Neto is? I do not know, but all right what did we think guys, in the chat? I got a limited edition. That logic. Yeah, I got a, it got the slide. Me that man. I'm about to slide through my Joel and B. I can send you that. All right. Now. Gotta get back to my, I love the dragon.
All right. So let's see, we got some packs here, guys. All right. We got, yeah, we got lots of packs guys. So I hope you guys liked this. So now we got a hustle and show series one. This has five moments in it and it contains one out of 18,000 limited edition in the hustle and flow. Series. So this is the only way you can get, oh, I didn't click open.
That's the only way you can get the hustle and show moments is through these packs. So what do you guys think let's do it. Let's do it. Let's do it. The hustle and show here guys. Release one. I remember one of these packs came out, man. I wanted one, but I know, and I can't believe I haven't opened a match.
I've been just wanted to do it for the chat. I want it on a live stream. So here we got Forbes just floating it up there so that one's number asked 60,000. So it's common. And then we guys $70. I heard isn't it. All right, let's do it. Oh, I got the same moment from the last package.
I hope not. Oh yeah. I hope he's worth some money because. All right. And now we got a Millsap dunk here, very low. Oh man, there we go. One of the most underrated basketball players out there, I like how they almost stopped him. And he like paused. He's Nope. I remember when he was a boss and just not that good anymore.
All right. What do we got? We got a dunk. A comment. Oh, we got down. There we go. Oh, nice. I love oh man. All right. And now this should be the hustle. PJ Washington. Oh. Number nine, six 60,000. Oh, so we got all commons in this. Oh man. All right. At least we got that Booker and the the last one here. So you can't go wrong with that Booker.
All right. I do have another hustle and show pack. Should we open that? Don. Don, what do you guys say in the chat? Let's see what they say in the chat. Let's keep it. How's the chat doing? Aren't we loving this because here I am sharing my screen. And, but that was Anthony Edwards. Nah, it looks like peg said home run looks like you got a nice one there.
She definitely thought so this pack was already open. No it wasn't. Oh, there we go. Okay. I was like, all right guys. Let's see what we got. Let's do it guys hit that like button. Let's keep it going here. We got
dunk. All right. What's next here. Another common Aaron Gordon dunk. All right. All right. Oh, in Denver. Oh, there we go in Denver a little bit too much. Let's just say that. Oh, that was the hustle. And that was the hustle and show out at 18,000. Oh, we got tackled
of central Florida. People ask where I went to school. It's right where this guy went. I remember watching college. Yeah. Taco van. Everyone wanted to dress up like a taco and you go to the Burke, the former Michigan man with the floater. All right. And what do we got to close out the pack? We got a block from Josh.
Richard said, oh, that's not in my house. Get outta here. All right. So that Aaron Gordon was at an 18,000, so not too bad here. All right. What is next in our pack? You guys having fun still let me know in the chat here. All I know is that my score is 36 and yours is 306. I think my score is going to go up too, because I think we get points for opening packs and for owning different moments.
All right, now we got fresh threads, so fresh threads. These have moments numbered out of 11,111. So let's see if we get some non commons in this. I'm really hoping we got a common assist here from Eric Bledsoe, those fingers guys. Oh, okay. That's one way to get it done. Oh, and that is numbered out of 11,111.
So there's our limited edition. Now we've got to lay up for Mike Conley.
Okay. What's next in our pack. We got a dunk. There's so many dunks. Yeah, throwing it down dunks or probably like the top to top was I don't really like the ones that I don't like, and I'll be honest. It's I have one, no, the 3.3 0.3 pointer here. It is all, but you got to hero, so I'll take it.
Honestly, underrated also that one should be worth some money. All right. Let's not open our other fresh threads right now. Let's skip down. Let's see, I got a base. How about an archive release to all right guys. So definitely smash it like guys. Let me tell you about this Mitch. So in this archive set, this was from last year a summer.
You could possibly find a moment number.to 10,000 and included in this is moments from the 2005, 2006 and the 20 13, 20 14 season. So let me throw out some names. Dirk Nowitzki, Shaquille O'Neal, Tracy McGrady, Tim Duncan, Ray Allen, and Vince Carter are the ones that we are looking for here. Oh man.
Mitch, I'm excited. I'm excited. T-Mac Tracy McGrady was really one of my favorite players to watch you guys got chase and kid. There you go. That's actually a really good one to have numbered out at 20,000. Look at the video quality. You can tell we're going back a couple of years here. See how that changes.
What else do we got here?
there's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Went to UMass and what is her? Alright. Oh, Jason kit, lay up again. Come on guys. We got a duplicate. Hopefully that's where some money. Cause I got two in that pack. So not a 20,000. The Marcus Camby also numbered out of 20,000 and you can see, it also has a bad tier.
The T S which I believe. Yeah, it is his first ever top shot match his top shot debut. So that holds some historical value. What do you think guys, should we skip and find some playoff moments from last year's NBA playoffs? I've been waiting to open these for a while too. So Chris is loaded, man. The good news is we might be able to open some more on a future episode.
Cause I don't think we're going to get to the them all here. So let's go ahead. Let's open up. This was released three from last year. Play on. I think there's three in this pack. If I remember right. Yep. Three let's see match the Knicks play off. That's not something you see every day, right?
That's something I could have historical. Alright. We got RJ Barrett. That's number, not at 12,000. That is a limited edition. Love it. Come on. I'm looking for something big here. We got Jay Crowder. I liked Jae Crowder. Oh, DSS was Mitch. Was that an okay. I guess it wasn't a cyst. I was like, it looked like he was shooting for a minute.
Yup. Oh man. All right. And then the last one in this playoff back at three point or Trey young. Oh, this is number. This is number, not a 40,000 though. So it's not as rare as the other two. But we'll take it. It's tray. Yeah. People in the chat. If you know what these are worth. I haven't looked at the marketplace in a little while, so you might have to let me know.
Let's do another playoff pack here. This was released too. So earlier games in last year's playoffs let's see, bam block. That would be now. Oh, there we go. All right. So we got a Jeff Green three pointer taking it, kick out numbered out of, oh, this is a low serial number match number 3, 4, 4 out of 11,500.
That used to mean that they had some value. So we'll see if that holds true. We got a window Carter Jr. Dunk the past between the legs, but numbered out of 40,000. So we're common there. And then we got a click Clint Capella block, which I also have another Clint Capella moment in my in my moments.
I know that, cause I remember getting it from a pack, but all right, let's get out. What else do we got for packs here? Match. Maybe you can pick out what I should open next because we got archive. We got some base. We got another playoff one there on the right. We got another base and a pre-order base.
What do you think? Should we do that last playoffs? Or you want to see some of these base set ones? Maybe for some non playoff players? Yeah. Let's just go ahead and let's do a one. Let's go do one more. Play off one. Let's see, let's pick that blue one. That blue ones are standing out to me. Then we do that blue one.
Now I can't remember. I'm not sure, but I guess I just like blue. What can I say? Oh, I already opened. I was like, this is what happened there. Oh, there we go. I think it's this pink one. That's the one that we haven't opened. Let's go. Let's go. Let's get it. All right. And then in a couple minutes, guys, we're going to open up that file pack.
Let's go big here. Give me a rare, we've opened. No big rare ones. All right. Paul George, with a jump shot match. It's not even, it's not even three pointer. Isn't it. At least he falls, but it's a deep two. What is that? Get outta here. Get outta here with that three pointer from Reggie Jackson, Reggie, he's still playing the step back.
And then what else? We got a dunk from. Oh, who's mom. We got Lakers showing up finally. Number nine 40,000. Okay. Was supposed to be really good just to get to that level. I think hype hype. All right, let's open one more NBA pack and then let's get into our NFL pass. So let's do a base.
I picked orange. We'll see what we got in this.
All right. Up first, a three-pointer we got marae. Oh, he looked like he was going to drive out of 40,000. We're still common. Come on. Where are all the rares at? In this? We got a dunk here from cam all they gave him. Oh man. I didn't think he had room.
Love it. And then the last one in this pack, we have ah, former Spartan. Jaman green Michigan's own with the assist, the kickout. Oh, it wasn't a kick-out to Curry. I was hoping it was a kick to Curry. All right. Let me stop sharing that screen and Mitch, we're going to get into an NFL. Let me tell you about this.
So I signed up for the waitlist for NFL all day, because I said, Hey, I know that people are going to want these moments when they first come out. And I got on the wait list and then I was able to get in line for a pack. I wasn't guaranteed to get one, but this pack is from the conference championship games.
So the Rams and the bangles getting to the super bowl. So included in these packs, you could get a it says a Joe burrow script, a scramble for a couple of yards to get a first down Matthew Stafford for the touchdown pass to Cooper. We got DFCM UL, a 44 yard touchdown, even though they didn't make the super bowl, we got Jamar chase making a two point conversion and the end zone, we got Aaron, Donald getting a interception to end that game.
And then of course we have the bangles game winning field goal in overtime. Mitch, let me ask you this. So you're a fan of NFL, right? So I think everyone's bashing on Twitter, the kickers, and saying, Hey, I don't want to get a kicker moment in my pack but let me just say this. I feel that, but let's say my bank, I was a fan of the bangles and they make the Superbowl because of a game winning field goal.
I would want to own that moment. Because that's what put them in. It won the game, it wasn't like these NBA top shots, that three pointer that we saw it, it was to take a two point lead. It had no significance, winning field goal. To me, I feel like it's cool. Let's be honest, right?
You got it could be a defensive game where you have three field goals when the game, if the guy kicks three field goals and that's how you win the game. You might be the MVP could, it could have kick or get MVP. And then that moment go up dress. That could happen too. And that's the thing I feel like kids, rookie cards were going up on eBay.
So to me, I wouldn't mind if I get the Bengals kicker in this pack match, I'm just going to throw it out there. I really want to stay. I really want to Stafford and also Von Miller. Cause we were talking about him yesterday for owning so many NFTs. There's a van Miller sack that could be in one of these packs.
So I'm excited about that. Mitch. Mitch, who would you want from the four teams that played? What do you got here? Look at that name right there. Cut me cop. Yeah. Yeah. A cup one I think is going to be sweet too. So yeah, trophy there. I told and my name just cup me and now they got a cup, Cooper cup.
They got to give him the cup. Mitch. I'll say playing daily fantasy this year. Anytime it was Sunday, I get my lineup set right for the. It was pretty easy to pick cup, right? Yeah. He cost a lot of money, but it was like, all right, he's going to put up lots of points. If I don't have him, all those people that do are going to pass me.
So I had to stack him in my lineups. So let's face it. Yeah. And people saying in the chat that they would want to own a cup. Yeah. Let us know in the chat guys, who do you want to own out of these NFL moments? The ones I'd also say Mitch, Tom Brady, right? Tom Brady. There's some moments in those first packs, obviously with Henry tiring, you're only gonna see so many moments.
So the other thing with these is there's no marketplace right now, Metro. I open this pack and I can't sell my moments yet. I have to sit on them. So does that hurt the value? If I opened, let's say a Matt Stafford, he wins the Superbowl wins super bowl. MVP. I can't immediately sell that. Is that a miss here by dapper labs with NFL all day?
Yeah. How long is it going to take for them to get the marketplace? No date set. That's TBA match. That's the date? That's a little concerning to me. That's the question. If it at least had a date, then maybe you could wait for the, that day to get that pop. But you are completely right. If whoever wins the MVP, if you have that moment of that, I think that's going to jump it and price, so I don't know who's gonna win it there. I would say don't count out the defense, because I think the defense is gonna have a big part to game plus 40,000 to win MVP match. So we talked about that yesterday. If he likes NFTs, I'll throw a little bit his way on a bat. Nah, not advice here guys.
But I really think it could be Stafford's to lose if the Rams, when assuming they go pass heavy, but will defensive player to get it, you need to beat three sex. Three sacks is the record in the Superbowl. So let's go ahead. Let's see if Vaughn can get maybe five. I think that could feel, oh man.
Did you guys hear that? Oh, I think he's coming hard. Alright. Time to share my screen here. Let's make sure we got this up. Can you guys see that? Oh, we got to share. There it is. There is Meg. All right. So three moments in this pack. Let's see what we get. And with that being said, Mitch, I'm guessing they're going to do super bowl moments, right?
So after Sunday's game, if they drop a pack next Friday, can you imagine what demand is going to be like for people to try to get moments from a super bowl? That's crazy, right? Cause those NBA playoffs, you're talking best of seven series with the super bowl. You're talking one game, it's win or go home. So that's pretty interesting. All right. Enough of me talking let's open up claim. Oh, now I got another random up coming at me and the central land. I gotta be careful.
All right. Let's see what we get on this champion. Championship game here. No worries. Just pull it on up for us. If you can hear, we're going to go ahead and see. I'm telling you right now, guys, I'm getting lost in this metaverse I hope you guys are too. We'll see you out there. Fast. Start doing some meet-ups Chris on the weekend.
All right. Now I've got to make sure I'm sharing the right screen here because I want to make sure everyone can see this pack. Let's get that back up on screen. You guys can see this right here we go. We see it right there. Let's do it. Oh my goodness. What does this mean? Executing your transaction. Don.
Don. Don, who knows? Oh my goodness. Don't tell me. I can't even open this right now. It could be having a little bit of issues there. It looks like the, come on blockchain having a little issue to open up. All I am going to stop sharing for a minute. Let's go ahead and try to knock it out and try to open it up.
You walk here just while you get ready. I just want to show you guys having fun a little bit here.
Look guys, there's Hilton. Who wants to come through? Who wants to come through the music concert here? I got a Snapchat. There's a lot of people here. Let's go find them. You guys have.
Oh, they went to Wonderland. I don't think I have entry to hold they're in here. Let's go get them. They are going to be really sad if I can't open this. Ooh, I got a sword. I want a sword.
Oh, you got a Rocky pack. Oh, and we got strictly three sports in the chat saying it takes three minutes to open Mitch. I've never waited three minutes to open a pack before. I don't know. I'll tell you one thing. I'm having fun here. Yeah. You're killing it in decentrally and where we're over on time right now.
So I appreciate everyone sticking with us while we try to get this. But Mitch, I don't know if we're going to be able to open this NFL pack today, but at least we were able to open so many of those NBA packs, ice cream. I want ice cream find the McDonald's Mitch. You gotta look for the McDonald's so you can order food to be delivered.
That what's that guy called. Ooh, I don't know that one. Let's find out the fun part is a lot of times you can just click on them and it gives you information on, looks like this one second to me, I got to get close. Cooler. What I like is how the, it actually looks like good graphics on the sky.
Look at that. That's some good graphics right there. You guys come find me. Yeah. I'm gonna keep playing here. I have to learn here. Let us know in the chat who here has actually spent time in decentral land. Because again, I know a lot of people in the NFT community are at least have heard of it.
And they might actually have some items in their wallet. Maybe some clothes for their avatar, but how many people have actually explored it? Gotten them. Master round let us know and yeah, born to be free saying, thanks boys. Good to see the SPAC brothers back together. Again, Mitch, I got my hoodie on because it's cold out here in the office, but I did wear my specs today.
Review of you coming on. I definitely so shout out to you. So I think I got it working. It says open pack. Let's do it. Let's do it. All right. Before we run out of time here, we're already out of time and people are going to be like a Tinder for the central line. All right. It says open pack.
You guys see it, right? That means I must be able to. All right, it's going to go. Let's go. Oh, I heard that noise. Oh, I didn't turn my sound off. I let it keep going. All right. Let's reveal it. Let's see it. Oh, you know what? This is a rare.
oh, you can't take me down and look at him. Go look. Oh, Kelsey. I already knew Kelsey. Of course. Oh my gosh, Mitch. I got a rare get it right.
Oh man. Do you guys see that 1200 available? All right. I bet I get common next up. Oh, what do we got here? This guy? Honestly this was one of those games that I didn't expect the chiefs to win, but it was a tough one. Oh, the first down here. Oh my goodness. Let's go. That's a 12 grade 1200.
Oh man. Let's go. One more, one more. All right. This is for conference championship. This I'm trying to think of the other teams available. I thought it was the final four, but what do we got here? Oh Dell. I think this is this the touchdown or the long pass. Oh, this is just one of those short.
I think he got a first down. It wasn't important down, but there's only 8,500. Oh, there is this common, but there's only 8,500. So guys check this out on the Josh Allen, 2 8500 Mitch. These are so low in number. The commons are low they're. Normally you see like at least top shot was like 60,000. These are going to be worth some money.
Oh, let's go. All right guys. We'll you guys were having too great of a time to, you want to know who I found right now? Let's see it. Let's see it. That's Alyssa guys. That's our producer. She's just hanging out and hanging out. She got her Fang gang shout out. I'm jealous at the thing gang here. We had Fayton gang on Mitch.
Oh man. Alyssa, you know what we should do? We should give Mitch the lake to play the fan game. I bet he would play it the rest of the day. Isn't going to get any work bending if you're listening a Spencer or razz or any of the people Mitch's just, he's working right now. Taking a break, but helping me out with my little guy, I got to run a little better than that though.
He looks like he can't run and it looks like he's going to break a leg or something. Oh my goodness. All right. And yes, look at strictly sports. That's a fire ass pack, bro. Mitch. I got a fire ass pack. I will take you. Boom. That's money. That is what I call
Let's go. All right. Did you guys enjoy that opening packs up? Cause if you did, I'm going to try to get more and we're going to keep doing this and Mitch, maybe we should give away a pack sometimes. So you got sign it. I've got lots of packs. Maybe I could give away one of the base packs or a starter pack to get someone going in NBA top shot.
Stay tuned guys. The roadmap we'll be back next week Tuesday. And we'll be talking about what happened at the super bowl, right? So you'll hear from me and Brian we'll break down whether or not we saw board apes, whether or not we saw the metaverse and other stories. And again, a big shout out and thanks to today's show sponsor, FTA.
For sponsoring the show and be sure to watch the Superbowl and when their commercial airs in the second half, get on Twitter, find their tweet, retweet it for your chance to win Bitcoin. And if you haven't signed up for an FTX account, you can find information in the description below. I want to give a huge shout out to my coworker, but also my wonderful friend money Mitch, for joining me on the roadmap today and filling in and check that out on the screen at story investors.
If you're not following him on Twitter, check it out. And Mitch for people who don't know, and they want to see more of you here on Benzinga YouTube TV, when and where can they find. Like always guys. One of the things I do is a, do a little stock trading just a little bit there. We do have a show live trading with Benzinga that goes on Monday through Thursday.
That's at 9:00 AM where we actually do live trading. I also have a show, just my specific, my only show money Mitch that goes on at four 30 weekdays. So check that on out. Definitely. And thank you for having me on Chris. One thing I definitely have learned a lot from you in the NFT world, and I think you helped me really dip my toes and more and more.
Am I getting lost into the metaverse as you guys can see. And one thing I'd definitely say is just keep looking out. Not only in a short timeframe. I think that's one thing that a lot of people get lost in is looking at what this is going to be worth today. I'm not looking at it. What is going to be work today?
I'm strictly looking at it in the longterm. I think in the longterm. Big push in VR and AR new goggles coming out by Facebook in the summer. I'm going to be looking to grab probably those new goggles I've been looking to just literally just start getting more and more immersed inside AR and VR.
And that's going to bring more and more to. And I appreciate you uncovering this area for not only myself, but for you guys out there. I hope you guys appreciate Chris going into this and always shoot Chris. A message. If you guys got something you guys want on here on the roadmap, maybe it's an NFT.
Maybe it's a game, or maybe it's just a platform. Like we showed a little bit of decentral and today let's go ahead and do so and hit the comments after let us know what platform you guys prefer to use in the metaverse. I would love to see that because I'm definitely taking a look block Topia coming on out the central land use.
You said it sandbox. There's so many that are definitely taking on over, but I'd love to hear what the audience has to think in the comments after. Definitely. All right that's going to do it for today for the roadmap. As I said, we'll be back Tuesday. Stay tuned, everyone coming up next, you got pre-market prep at the close with Joel and Spencer breaking down all the big stock stories and crypto stories from the day.

I see born to be free, of course, telling everyone to smash that so shout out to born to be free for getting us kicked off here.
I want to give a special shout out to our friends at FTX who are sponsoring today's episodes. FTX is one of the largest cryptocurrency. In the world in terms of trading volume and daily users, the FTX app is used by over 6 million people to buy crypto and NFTs, no transaction or withdrawal fees from your phone or computer.
And that FTX trading platform features a theory. I'm an and FTS with no gas fees, you can find out more by going to ftx.us and clicking the link in the description below on this video and also pin to the chat right now. So again, big shout out to our friends at FTX, and we're going to be talking about them a little bit later on when we get into super bowl commercials, I'm getting ready to bring on.
It looks like Brian is ready to go. So it's time to bring on my co-host Benzinger zone. Ryan Moore, what's going on by I'll just live in the dream, like always excited for the super bowl. So excited here I am rocking my Matthew Stafford Jersey. The lions will not be playing in the Superbowl. I know not a big surprise to anyone out there.
They still have never appeared. But Hey, next year is our year. Right? Brian, that's what they say. But Matthew Stafford, former lion will be appearing in the super bowl. So I will be cheering him on and rooting for the Rams. Let us know in the chat guys, who are you rooting for? Is it the Rams? Is it the bangles?
And with that being said, we actually put out a poll that I'll probably use for an article. So make sure you vote and also leave a comment. And that's what our poll is. What are you most excited about for super bowl? 46? Is it the game, the Rams versus Bengals? Is it the commercial. Is it the halftime show?
Em and em, Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Mary J Blige and Snoop Dogg, or is it our topic today? Crypto and N F cheese. So look at that vote, Brian, it's looking pretty, even when I saw earlier today, crypto and NFTs had a big lead, but it looks like we do have a lot of sports fans out there too, that care about after all it is the super bowl at the football game.
But look at crypto and NFT is getting a lot of love in this. What is your pick, Brian? I know I wanted to select all four, but if you had to pick one, what are you most excited? Shoot. It's hard. I love football in general, so I'm excited about the game I like from, I guess we'll call it a business standpoint and what we do as an enthusiast standpoint the crypto NMT side, I'm pretty excited about it and see what that means.
I know we're talking a lot more about it in a second, but to see what that really means for the crypto space and to see how some of these companies the rise they've had in the last five years, getting to the point where they're owning freaking arenas that hosts Superbowl or different sporting events and they just started out of nowhere and rose to these billion dollar companies.
It's crazy. It's awesome. And I cannot wait to see what the board apes having store, what crypto.com, Coinbase all these different platforms and projects have in store for the super bowl itself. I'm excited for. I definitely will. Brian, that is going to get into some of our first topics here.
So you know, let's talk super bowl commercials first. I want to remind everyone again, super bowl. 46 will air live on NBC on Sunday. The game kicks off at six 30 Eastern time. Super bowl commercials costs around $6.5 million this year. Brian, some even going for seven to $8 million. Again, depending on when it airs, if it is a prime time spot or not.
Brian, it is an exciting year. You and I have both talked about this over the years we've seen a lot of consumer product companies vehicle companies, movie companies use the Superbowl as a way to get their ad in front of millions of people, right? It's the most televised event of the year.
So while that cost seems high, it's also the biggest audience you can get in one swoop with the 32nd ad. So to me, if you're a company and you have the money to do it, I still think it's worthwhile. So with that being said, We are getting a lot of crypto commercials this year, which is really interesting and exciting times for the space.
So up first, our friends from FTX, Brian will air their first ever Superbowl commercial. And we talked about this week. This is really exciting because not only are they airing a Superbowl commercial to try to get new users, they're airing a super bowl commercial and giving away Bitcoin to their users, into people for watching.
As I said yesterday, the super bowl commercial will air in the second half of the game. And whatever time at Arizona will be the amount of Bitcoin they are giving away. So for example, there on the screen, 8:38 PM, that would mean that they're giving away 8.38 in Bitcoin. So we will find out on Sunday, how much, as soon as that commercial airs, you can head over to the FTX Twitter account, retweet that tweet, follow the rules and have your chance to win.
Brian. This is really exciting because our friends at FTX sat over there, Superbowl commercial to us today, and here it is on screen. So you don't even have to wait until the Superbowl. You do to enter the contest. I want to stress that great point, Brian, you can't win the Bitcoin yet, but here is that Superbowl commercial featuring Tom Brady.
Great use there. The go and there is his wife to, so of course so both being featured, they have started an FTX ads before. Brian, is this an upgrade that Tom Brady retired and now he gets to be in Superbowl commercials. It's probably more of a lateral move there, but if he can't play in the super bowl, I guess be in a Superbowl ad in the same amount of money.
And I just want to say, can you scroll back the video a little bit, Alyssa? Just like a, oh, a little bit more, a little bit more. Back to where they're at the building. What? One more? Oh, where the ribbon cut right there. That's from parks and rec. Did you guys notice that? I just noticed that. I just thought that was really oh yeah.
Parks recreation. That right there was from parks and recreation. And I think he's in Philadelphia though. I don't know. But yeah, I think it's pretty cool that I got distracted. Welcome to Tampa bay. They say change the Tampa bay sign. See, they're so clever over there. FTX and free Bitcoin, Brian, like that is exciting too.
Yeah, lots of it. FTX has already done some commercials with Tom Brady before, but it's really cool to see them utilize him. Once again, here we have another commercial. I was big into web three and NFTs and crypto too. Like it's his I think that's his new passion and what he wants to spend the rest of his like retirement and life doing is advocating for web three, which I'm all.
Yeah. And he actually said one of the reasons, or one of his focuses now along with his family is going to be his NFT company called autograph. So autograph is partnered with draft Kings. So you can get some NFTs on their platform, including some Tom Brady once they actually had some Gronkowski ones that I believe we went live today between autograph and draft Kings.
But yeah FTX, Superbowl commercial, again, airing in the second half of the game. I'm going to throw out a guess that it airs right around. Let's call it 9:09 PM Eastern time. But again, that's just a gas and you don't win anything for being right. Brian, do you have a guest or no,
maybe before the first half. Okay. I will say before the first, so I'll go with a it's six 30 Eastern here. So I'd say around 8, 8 30. Okay. I don't know. We'll see. We will see. So we will find out again, FTX, Superbowl commercial. So let's dive in. We've got more commercials to talk about. Not just FTX, although that is one that is pretty exciting with the Bitcoin giveaway.
Coinbase is also doing a Superbowl commercial Coinbase of course, publicly traded. So here at Benzinga we know the Coinbase story. Coinbase has not shared their commercial to my knowledge, Ryan. So they're being a little bit more secretive. They haven't announced a promotion at all. I did see some ramblings and rumors that maybe they launched their NFT marketplace after the super bowl.
And that they're using this big event to be the all-in approach. That would be a huge deal. But otherwise, what do you think of Coinbase? Do you think that they use it to promote NFTs or do you think they're just going to show off their their trading platform and trading cryptos?
Let's say if I was their marketing head of the marketing department, I would definitely push the NFT platform. Everyone really already knows about Coinbase. Obviously you see claimants, you're going to know what's up, but I would, I'd highly suggest pushing the NFT marketplace and trying to get a stranglehold on that.
So that's why I think. Definitely. We will find out on Sunday again, I have not seen their commercial. Maybe it'll come out in the next couple of days. That is the thing. Brian, when I was a kid, I remember you always had to wait until the super bowl aired, to see all these commercials. Now of course, we get to see a lot of them before which does take away a little bit, but it also leads to more conversation like this, about the big game.
So another company they're no stranger to the Superbowl Anheuser Busch, right? The owner of Budweiser, bud light and hundreds of beer brands, they of course have some of the most well-known super bowl commercials of all time. You got the frogs, you got the WhatsApp guys, you got the Clydesdale horses and the list goes on.
They are going to be promoting their bugs. Next brand, which is a zero carb beer that was just released this week. And we showed off that commercial yesterday and featured in that commercial. Brian is the nouns Dow glasses. And if you don't know nouns Dow, you'll be able to see it here in the camera.
Right there. Perfect job from our producer there, get in the glasses on screen. And Brian, this is a big deal because to me, as someone who follows NFT, I know what nouns is, right. But if you do not know what nouns is and you see this ad, do you think that people that are going to search and look for, Hey, what were those glasses in that bud light commercial?
What is nouns Dow get a ton of attention this weekend I'm led to believe so, yeah. So with that being said, the nouns collection on open, see, there's only 204 with an 86 east Florida Bryan or 77,000. I was just doing the math is $277,000 for one for the lowest price one. Yeah. Now, Brian I don't have enough to buy announce NFT.
I want a house before I get to now and I don't own any, but with that being said again, not financial advice, but there are a couple of projects out there that are nouns inspired. They're not official, not from the company, but they were pretty well known when they released. We had a now. Which has a 0.08, four and noun punks, which has a 0.06 east floor.
Not to say that these have long-term value or a huge roadmap, but do you think we start to see some of these noun knockoffs are now inspired, inspired, derivative plays. Do you think we see a run on those next week? Yeah, because I think there's always some of that FOMO that happens the thing with announced, which is really cool is how they set it up and why these guys are so expensive.
It's not really the artwork really at all, that makes it expensive. It's your ticket into the Dow itself. And they auction them off daily. And so it's every day. Perpetuate Truity is saying that right where it's going to happen forever. It's never going to stop. So every single day they're going to every 24 hours, they auction new ones.
So when winds each time, so maybe down the road, they might get a little cheaper it's just, it's really cool how they do that. And once you have one you're always in it, and there's just a lot of really cool things that they're doing. So it's, if you haven't checked out now in stout, definitely check them out.
And this partnership with Budweiser is huge for more than just them, but it's really cool how they have everything going down. Yeah, definitely. So again, nouns is going to be featured in that bud light commercial. And again, if you don't know what nouns are, they're going to get a lot of attention.
It's not financial advice, but Brian, I definitely looked at some of those derivative plays today. And I feel like we could see a run on noun plays next week. I also think of course some of these other projects we're going to talk about may get some derivatives made or a run as well.
So keep an eye on nouns, keep an eye on some of those derivatives and maybe it can be a short-term trade next week. Like a stock would be, but again, not recommending, not financial advice, just what I am watching, going into the game. Brian, we also have a super bowl ad coming from crypto.com.
So crypto.com similar where they have a crypto trading offering, they also have NFTs, right? I actually saw, they just launched NFTs of Terry Bradshaw, the legendary Superbowl a quarter. What do you think crypto.com uses the Superbowl to promote crypto NFTs are a mix of, I'd say it's going to be probably 80, 20 and of Ts crypto, because they are really pushing the NFTE stuff out.
I get so many emails and different things. I see their in platforms everywhere. I don't personally use crypto.com very often. But I did whenever they're in Ft platform first dropped and there wasn't this huge race against open sea and everybody before open sea was the main one go-to and it's pretty cool, but they price out and they had a lot of big sponsorships and a lot of big collaborations with like big celebrities.
So you're priced out, but I would, I'd highly I think that they're going to definitely push the NMT marketplace because that's what everyone's doing and that's, what's making money. Yeah. And crypto.com. For those who aren't familiar, they already have been airing lots of commercials, right?
They're the ones who have Matt Damon. So it is the future favors. The brave is, or fortune favors. The brave is the slogan that they're using right. There it is. And Matt Damon going walking through different times of history and then talking about it's a commercial of course for Bitcoin.
So to me, I feel like you said, Brian, crypto.com. I think they use their commercial to, to talk about NFTs, they've already gotten the crypto story, the Bitcoin story out there. I think it's probably time to do something else and create more brand awareness. So we'll see.
I also saw in the chat while we're on the topic of Matt Davis, Where was it? A Tomo said Coinbase is rumored to have made a production with Ben Affleck directed by an also starting Jimmy Kimmel. Brian, we see lots of celebrities in super Superbowl ads. So this of course wouldn't be a big surprise, right?
If there was a celebrity in the Coinbase ad, but I think it'd be pretty interesting if we saw Ben Affleck and Matt Damon who are like best friends, on different sides and different crypto companies here, that could be a good storyline. What do you think. Yeah. That, that is definitely interesting.
I don't, I've never heard this rumor and if it's true, that's kinda, it's wild and I don't know what Jimmy Kimmel he has a board eight, but I don't think he's really in the crib. I don't know. I don't know much about it. I just know that he does have a board ape and has talked about NFTs on his show, but that it's just a strange mix of people that are getting into it, who Coinbase can reach and whatnot.
That's neat. Definitely. And then also we have so far so fi isn't necessarily the NFT side, but they are crypto. They have a crypto trading platform. And if you don't know, of course the S the game super bowl, 46 will be played at sofa stadium. So you're going to hear a ton this weekend. And they are also airing a commercial. And again, it's another one where I haven't heard exactly what they're doing with their commercial. They do have a bank charter that just happened. They're trying to get people to ditch their banks and sign up for so five accounts. So the question is do they use the Superbowl to try to get banking customers or knowing that there's other crypto companies airing ads?
Do they try to go after that crypto crowd? What do you think Brian, what's the best play for sofa here. So from what I can see that, that how they market themselves as they have the APY and the staking kind of aspect, but it's like really easy user-friendly you don't even have to be in crypto to do it.
They are also one of the ones kinda like Coinbase, where not your keys, not your crypto it is safe there. So it's not like a worry that something's going to happen to it. I'd imagine that they're going to go after the banking customers over the, like trying to take away from Coinbase or other ones for like crypto trading only because they don't really have a lot to offer on the crypto.
Like day-to-day trading. If you want to be an active crypto trader, but they do have a whole lot. If you want to hold and gain APY, have it easy, like a better savings account and just utilize what crypto and blockchain cryptocurrency is made for and getting money and kind of being on that side of the ballpark.
Yeah, definitely. And the nice thing about all these rumors and all these guesses from Brian and I is we're only a couple of days away. So we're going to get those questions answered on Sunday during the game another crypto company related to the super bowl, we have Binance, Brian, I don't, I think you saw this is Binance is running a kind of super bowl promotion, right?
Not necessarily a super bowl commercial, but they are going to give away and FTS during the game. And what they're doing, this is really interesting because we just talked about Matt, Damon, Ben Affleck, if you can scroll down Alyssa, I want to make sure I get this right. And Ryan's in the chat who wrote this, but I'm pretty sure that the thing with Binance is that every time there's a celebrity.
In a crypto commercial, they are giving away a polo app to people that are watching the game. Yeah. So their new ad is don't listen to celebrities about crypto, which is really interesting because we're seeing a lot of celebrities in crypto commercials. So it's a way for Binance to differentiate themselves.
Although I will say that Binance also uses some athletes in their promotions, so it's a little interesting there, you can see them right there. And a musician of course, J Balvin there, Jimmy Butler and NBA player. But this is interesting, Brian. So again, it's this a good way for a crypto company.
Maybe if you don't buy a commercial to still run a promotion with the big game going on to reward some of your users and maybe new users, what do you think? That thing is a great idea. And I really liked that aspect of they're like, Hey, don't listen. All this. Be a part of the whole movement as a whole, don't just listen to certain only certain celebrities at ones, but another whatnot just be a part of it.
And everyone likes free stuff. And the coolest part about like his poems or any of these free and MTS is they have a lot of potential to actually have monetary value. So unlike some other free stuff that you get that just as cool, a little trinket or a cool little image or something, some of these can actually be like heirlooms and you can hold onto them for a while.
And it's, you have a piece of history because this is the first time this has ever happened in all of the history of the world. Right now this Superbowl itself is making history. So just having something to commemorate that is pretty damn cool. Yeah, definitely. That is what I've got for kind of our Superbowl commercial segment.
So again, if you didn't have a chance to vote in our Twitter poll, make sure you do so for what you are watching are most excited about the game. The commercials, the halftime show or crypto slash NFTs being featured throughout cause I really think that's interesting. And again, I'm excited to do an article about what our Benzinga fans are most excited about for the the biggest game of the season.
Well, Brian, along with commercials, we've got plenty more to talk about with the big game. So a story we chatted about last week was the continuation of sports and FTS and everyone who attends super bowl, 46 is getting a free NFT through a partnership with ticket master and the league. So if you didn't know, during the season, the NFL did kind of these ticket replicas as NFTs, I believe they are on yeah, the polygon chain.
I was able to buy some of the the team ones, but I've not gotten any of the playoff ones. But what do you think Brian, they're going to give these away for free. What percent of people that attend the game, do you think, try to list those right away and maybe make some of their super bowl ticket price back.
And do you think a ton of people that missed out on going to the game are going to scoop these up as a memorabilia item? I think you'll have a lot of people you don't know. Cause I just said like how I just said that this is a part of history and this has never been done before and there's a new sub, so it can go either way.
There'll be a ton of people that are going to sell to make a profit, because like we were talking about it off air where I tried, I was gonna thinking about buying one of the NFL tickets that commemorates the the the super bowl game against the Rams with bangles. And we talked about it last week on the show and I came close to buy one, but I was like, I don't know if I want to do.
And so I ended up not, and the next day they were, so they were only 2 95 for one, the next day, there are songs like $1,200. I don't know how much they are now, but yeah I think you can make an easy money. I don't think you'll make your money back on your super bowl tickets. Cause those are pretty pricey plus parking, everything he did, but you can still make enough.
I think that holding it is more valuable than trying to sell it and make a profit or try to make a null and void your costs it's to each their own. I think that they're pretty cool. And I think that holding it has a lot more value in a lot more potential than trying to rip it off at the, from the get go.
Yeah. Definitely an interesting take. I was looking at the site and Brian you're right. The road to the Superbowl. So the one that features the re. Yeah, the cheapest price is $1,250. And the one that has the bangles, the cheapest price, it's $1,050. And again, those were priced at 2 95. It's actually interesting because the conference championship game of the Rams is only selling for 199, which is what it priced at and the divisional playoffs, same thing, 149, which is how much it was priced at.
So the ones that actually say super bowl on them and have the super bowl logo, we're already seeing heavy demand for those. So I think that bodes well for these tickets from the game and the one thing, Brian, we talk all the time about supply, right? So when you have a collection like board apes where there's 10,000, so there's only going to be 10,000, right?
That's not that many to think about. There is. Capacity at Sophie stadium of 70,240. So assuming everyone goes and claims they're NFT, which I'm guessing not everyone will. Cause some people won't or just don't know about it. There could be over 70,000 of the super bowl tickets. So do you think the high supply could hurt these being listed for a super high price, but again, they're free.
So anyone who lists their they're making money off of it, they got it for free for going to the game. So I don't know if you get one, I don't know what you'd even start the list at, because if you're the first one to list, you get to set the bar and everyone's going to undercut you. So I'll definitely be watching on probably Monday or Sunday night, see what these start to get listed.
Because I really think fans are gonna want a piece of history here, if your team ended up winning the super bowl. So of course, if the Rams win the super bowl the random yes, definitely to have on that. And like maybe something crazy happens and we break a record. It just it all depends on what happens during the game, if nothing special happens.
And it's just a normal game where I guess that's impossible at the super bowl, but if it's just like a back and forth and it's boring, man, maybe it might go a little lower, but I'm assuming this is going to be a pretty big one. And I think that coming even like closer to Sunday, we're gonna see even more surprises come out from different companies with different different marketing strategies, different programs and different like giveaways and all this crazy stuff.
So it's just, it's I think we've said, I've said it maybe five times now this is the first time it's ever happened. And I'm very excited to see where it all takes, where it all goes. I can't. Yeah. So with that being said, Brian not just the commercials, not just the fans. We also have some players and some halftime performers to talk about.
So I want to bring up Von Miller first. So if you don't for our viewers. Von Miller is a defensive player for the Los Angeles ramps. He's a former Bronco. He is one of the key building pieces that the Rams did to really give them a shot to win the super bowl. They added Von Miller.
They added OBJ who we're gonna talk about in a minute. And of course added Stafford and they gave up a ton of draft, picks a ton of capital to do this. But van Miller look at that profile right there. You can already see that he loves him some NFTE. So that is a clone X right there. So clone acts, of course, from artifact that was acquired by Nike.
This is already one of the the biggest NFT projects out there. Well-known this, I tried to pull up the floor price right now. What do you think Brian, like if people say bond Miller has a great game are people gonna look up, man? On Twitter. Are they going to see that profile again?
Are they going to search and ask, Hey, what is this profile picture? What NFTs does Von Miller own is clone X going to see some possible interest over the super bowl. We've already got a floor of 13.99, but if the Rams win, I tend to think that Von Miller is going to help that product out.
What do you think? Oh, I know for a fact there's I'm getting a lot of people even now, like family and friends and people from that I talked to forever all are always messaging me, ask me about MTS or crypto. And so the super bowl is going to be pretty much heavily focused on that. Cause that's the talk of the year.
And I think you're going to see a lot of people, like you said, they're going to go to as Twitter people that might not be in this space, it will be like, what the heck is this guy? Why does he have a cartoon? What the hell is this? This is stupid. And then maybe maybe I'm a little bit more curious, cause there's a lot of talk about it.
And then they see the price tag because a lot of people don't believe it. They see the price at $270,000 and you're like, what the hell would that have a fuck? Did that happen? So people get a lot more interest in it and I think we're going to see I think we'll see a little bit of an explosion in.
Have a lot more gains in the NFT market side of things and maybe not as effective for the crypto, but I think like a theorem itself and NFTs like different platforms, we're going to see a huge increase in volume with over the next couple of days. Yeah, I think you're, I think you're spot on and that's something we'll probably hit on here at the end of the show too, is the fact that we can trade NFTs and crypto on the weekend and we can't trade stocks.
So like Superbowl normally we'll save that for the end. But Von Miller. So he has a clone acts. He also owns a board ape. So again, board a, one of the biggest projects out there, one of the most valuable Von Miller has that in his collection too. And it was actually previously his profile picture.
You can see it right there. We've got the cowboy hat. This is an interesting one. We also have the fact that he owns a crypto. So again, very interesting that a player on the Rams and here you can see his portfolio. He's got a ton of NFTs, but crypto. Board ape clone acts three of the biggest projects out there.
Von Miller alphabet. He's right there on screen. We had them on for an interview months ago. That's a cool one. That's a smaller one. You could see that football trait. So that could be an interesting there's crypto dads. So some of these smaller ones, Brian, maybe you start to see get some interest over the weekend because of these players or these musicians also owning them along with the bigger ones.
What do you think of that? If you're a person who's into NFTs, Von Miller on the screen here that he owns NFTs. You immediately try to go find his open, see, and look and see what he owns and start to get into some of those projects. Or do you just go, Hey, this is this profile picture.
This is the one that he cares the most. I think maybe the latter, what you said, this is the one he cares about, I don't know. I don't know which one he really likes, but he does have a very selective collection. I'm sure that he gets sent and FTS all the time from different projects, but you can tell which ones he's a more of a fan of which one is not.
And what's cool is you can print, you can get a vibe that he's not just doing this from like some sort of a investment firm or for a marketing strategy, or from having someone like an advisor to do it for him. It feels like he is actually really passionate about it and wanting to collect these and looking all these different projects himself.
So that's always really cool to see, not just something to collect money or just because it's a trendy thing to do. He's actually involved. Yeah. And I, so I was just pulling up his wallet here too. As Alyssa of course, scrolls in the background here. And if I saw that he owns two board apes and Brian, he also owns two mutant serums that he has not used yet.
There is some heavy speculation out there spot boom, that, yeah I don't know if he'd be able to pull off the logistics, but when we talk about the halftime show in a minute, there's some rumors that we're going to see some mutant serums. Put to work during the Superbowl and hit a phone in the in the goalpost bangles.
So Hey might happen. That's a throwback if anyone is old enough. Yeah, I definitely remember that. And shout out, we got Logan in the chat mentioning the staffer Jersey again, Matt Stafford, Superbowl. He's probably going to win Superbowl MVP, Brian, but the odds on him to win are only plus 100. So you don't win a ton of money.
Let me tell you something though, because he loves NFTs. I want to root for Von Miller to win the super bowl MVP. Maybe he has a couple sacks and interception of forced fumble and a defensive touchdown. If he wins the MVP Bryan plus $4,500 again, not financial advice to throw money on that bat. I would never tell you to do that.
I'm rooting for Von Miller to win Superbowl MVP. And those NFTs of his will get even more attention. I got to scroll down a little bit here in the doc, cause I'm already skipping ahead. Odell Beckham Jr. Also a Rams player, a wide receiver who like Von Miller played for a different team and became a building block of the Rams.
Another interesting piece added to their puzzle. And if you go to Odell Beckham, Jr's Twitter account, his profile picture is dead fellas. So dead Filas is one that we've talked about a lot on the show. They have they're going to be on the Coinbase platform. They were actually the the banner photo for the Coinbase NFT account for a while.
Dead fellas, 2.98 east floor, Brian. This is one again, not financial advice. But if I had to pick one that could really benefit after this week and it'd be dead fellows because it's under three east it's Odell Beckham Junior's profile picture. And he actually has lower odds to win the MVP at plus 2,500.
And again, he's a controversial guy. He could get a lot of attention and a lot of people going to his profile and looking at that dead fellows. So what do you think Brian of dead fellows? That's a pretty sweet one that he's rocking as his PFP there. Yeah. I liked that. I liked the project and I like OBJ because he's been in the crypto and NMT space for, I know it's only been a short maybe a year or two, but in this space, that's 10, 20 years in retrospect.
So he, I think he was like one of the original athletes to get a crypto punk and a board ape and stuff, and change his profile picture and just dive into the whole. Crypto aesthetic. I'm all about it. I liked the dead fellows. I don't have one, so I don't really have any opinion either way on the project itself, but yeah.
Who knows if it went MVP, but we'll see, like you said, it, he does have a ways to go. I think Von Miller might have a better chance. I'm definitely going to be on the Barstool sports app. Pretty much trying to pick and choose which ones I want to go with. So we'll see. Yeah. And you mentioned crypto punk, Brian.
Yeah. So Odell Beckham Jr. Owns a crypto punk. And not only does he own it, not only was it his profile picture for awhile. Look at that picture. Brian, before one of their games, he actually rocked his crypto punk on his shirt. Look at that flex right there. That is awesome. I love it. And again, Odell Beckham Jr.
Also takes a salary roadmap OBJ. After the super bowl we got to have you on. He also takes his salary and Bitcoin. So Brian will do whatever coin NFTs. This guy is all in on crypto and NFTs. So shout out to OBJ, but again, crypto punk owner, he owns dead fellows. I think dead fellows is the one that kind of watch this weekend, but we'll see, he also owns an ENS name.
You can look at his wallet, he's got a ton of other NFTs in there. Again, some may have been gifted to him. Some he bought, but very pro NFT. So another name to watch during the game, Brian, I hate to bring this next one up because I know it is a project that you had. We had that Adam bomb squad, which now has a floor price of close your ears, Brian, 0.79.
So they have heads and better than the one point, what, like eight, it was like 1.8, the one show when you were talking. So that's when I was sad. I'm not sad anymore. Yeah. So they had a couple tweets out that they have an NFL partnership. And if you look, they have certain traits that kind of have a football team colors and like football helmets.
And there was speculation that if you owned one of those, you were going to get some additional rewards during and after the game. So now, oh, so this is an interesting project to watch. And Brian I know it is trading higher than when you got in the first time, but again, not financial advice, but trading under one Eve, if this project gets some attention this week, I have to think that it's in play here.
Another one to put on everyone's watch list, just throwing it out there, my 2 cents and what we do here on the roadmap, Brian, I think it's time to get into the halftime show, right? So this is what a lot of people are excited about. And normally I don't get as excited about the halftime show performance because a lot of times that ends up being a bunch of like pop singers, right?
Although we have had some great rockers and different performers, but this year we have a killer lineup of some hip hop, rap, legends, all performing. As I mentioned in that Twitter poll those performers, but let's center in on a couple. So we have Eminem again, shout out Detroit closest.
We will ever be to being in the Superbowl with Stafford. And I'm an M I'm an Amazon board ape yacht club owner. So board a, getting a ton of love. Look at that. His profile picture, Brian Marshall Mathers himself is going to perform their speculation. That board ape of course, is going to get mentioned during the halftime show, we're going to see board apes turned into Mutan apes during the halftime show, we're going to see a board, ape, commercial, all kinds of stuff.
And to go along with that Snoop dog, who's performing with him also owns a board. What do you think, Brian, what's your guests here? Do we see board aids? Just get attention because of who's performing or is there actually something happening? Will we see board apes during halftime on Sunday? That'd be really cool.
I have no idea. I think they'll definitely get attention. Cause everyone has one and it's like the most that them and crypto bunks that are most well-known. Right now I do want to say one thing that we're good. We'll clip out, but Marshall, but Eminem Von Miller, OBJ, Snoop Dogg. Anybody, if you want to come on and talk about NFTs or crypto on the roadmap, you just let us know, just send a DM.
We'll reach out. Let's make it happen. Just anybody who wants to, because anybody you heard very exciting. You heard Brian, we want you all to come on. Brian you saw Snoop dog up there on screen for a minute to his profile picture, actually it looks like out of the sandbox, right? So Snoop dog has a partnership with the sandbox.
So that's another topic that maybe people haven't been looking at because we've been so centered on board ape. Do we get some stories? Performance or focus on the metaverse Sunday is there any kind of hologram, is there any kind of 3d avatar up on stage? Do they all leave the stage and enter the metaverse?
Could that be something else that's happening behind the scenes? Maybe the sandbox is gonna be. The winter after all that? No, one's talking about what do you think of metaverse in sandbox here? So I don't know if we'll see a whole lot of it like on the stage or anything like that, but we'll definitely see a lot on Twitter.
I think there'll be a lot of action. We will see a lot of different surprises with different Metro versus in different projects. I know for the past, probably two weeks or so on multiple different spaces that we've had in help. We've had a metaverse projects and different NFP projects. But mainly metaverse projects come on and explain Hey, we got some really cool stuff happening for the Superbowl that weekend.
I can't really drop any just because, but you'll see. But there's so much different stuff that's happening behind the scenes in the metaverse because that's going to be, if you think NMT. The metaverse all of that is going to explode within the next couple of months. That's going to be the next hot topic.
Definitely keep an eye out for that. And I think that the super bowl was going to start trailing it off and just the rocket ships going to keep on guzzling for, because we're going to see a whole lot of action when it comes to the sandbox or decentral land or up land. I think I that's one of the only ones I actually play every now and again, but w yes, the metaverse is going to be huge.
And I think there's gonna be a lot of attention to it on social media. Yeah. And I saw someone in the chat saying that the sand coin, right? So sandbox has their own coin. S a N D. We also have this central land with Manoj. I made an a those would be two to watch if we do get any mention of the metaverse or digital lay on this weekend.
Again, this is all just rumors, speculation, not financial advice, but the fact that Snoop Dogg has a partnership, he has land in the sandbox. I feel like there's at least a chance, that we'd get a mention. Remember to these performers are going to get interviewed over the weekend, too, right?
They're not just going to perform, they're going to be doing press events. They're going to be doing after parties, talking to other celebrities. So maybe they can get other celebrities, other athletes onboard into some of these other projects. So this is a huge topic. There's so much going into.
To this weekend. What else do we have on here? I got through Adam bomb squad. Okay. So last one to touch on here. Before we get to some of our questions from the chat. And guys, if you have questions, now's the time drop them in the chat. If you're watching us live, let us know. What do you want to hear about what are your questions about Superbowl or what are your questions about NFT projects?
I see a couple there, Brian, the other NFT project that I'm watching, but this is a harder one for people to get into is dapper labs, the parent company of NBA, top shot. They started releasing their packs of NFL all day. So NFL all day is not like a public open yet. It's still people that were on a wait list.
So I was actually able to score a pack two weeks ago. I haven't opened it yet, but I think I might be opening it live on the show sometime, maybe tomorrow teaser there. So if you guys want to see me open an NFL pack and some NBA top shot packs, let me know in the chat, right? But Brian dapper labs has the rights now to make moments of NFL games for the first time ever.
They're going to be able to make these moments from the super bowl and then put them into packs in a a week or two. What do you think of that? Are we going to see now? We saw this huge run on top shot when it first started and the low supply is this the perfect time now for NFL? All day to come out right around the playoffs and the super bowl.
Did they time it like this on. Oh, the hat guarantee it a hundred percent and yes, it is a perfect time. It's going to, because the NMT, I think a lot of people are now getting back into collectibles and like we've discussed this multiple times and it's pretty known fact that NFT or just a tokenized version of an app.
We'll change how memorabilia and collectors items will be utilized and used in the future. And yeah this is a perfect time to start. And honestly, these are these right here could have potential to be the next Pokemon cards. When I was a kid, it was all big. I had every card, I had one of the best charts ARDS.
My parents threw them away when I was a kid. Cause they were always everywhere. And I'm like 20 years later I'm like you guys owe me a hundred thousand dollars, but I don't. But it could be that kind of thing where you get one of these gen zero gen one or Genesis version and 10 years from now you're looking at a pretty nice paycheck right there.
So Brian as a sports fan, right? Let me ask you this. So in NBA top shot they of course have moments of three point shots done. Layups and assist. So obviously I think a lot of people tend to want like the dunks, cause they're a little bit flashier. Then an, a sister, a layup, nFL moments. So we've got passes, catches. We've got sacks by defensive players. We've got interceptions. Here's the sleeper though that I think out there as a sports fan that I would want to own. It sounds silly. But how about the kicker moments? The game winning field goal.
Because that's what it actually is. The moment your team won a certain game. So I know that they have moments out there of the bangles kicker, hitting the game winner to send them to the super bowl they aren't avail. So that's the other thing. They haven't opened their marketplace yet to sell these moments.
You can just open and buy the packs. Once that marketplace opens. I really think that those kicker moments could be some of the most sought after, because of the historical significance. What do you think, what NFL moments would you want to own and what do you think of the kickers here? Yeah, you pretty much nailed it right on the head.
There's a, that is going to be really cool. And that's a huge thing too, because you now have, oh, I just tried to pull up the, okay. You mentioned some sports in the while. I was trying to pull up the kick to see. To see what it was and see how it would go down. But that, that's a really cool aspect too, because you have like a.
For instance, maybe OBJ makes one of his classic one-handed catches and it's the game winning touchdown in overtime. That's a huge thing if you're if you're from Tennessee, for example, like I'm from Knoxville. And we beat Georgia, Tennessee, V Georgia a couple of years ago in overtime with a hail Mary pass.
And that's one of the most iconic pictures that you can find and stuff like that. That's huge because if you have it and say it straight from like routers or whatever, the photo service it has it, or licensed by the NFL, it's going to maybe a one of one or one to 10. You now have that.
And it's pretty much the same thing as having like your own piece of art, just like a crypto bunker or anything else. So I think that's really interesting and very exciting because I really want somebody. Yeah. And we got Logan, our boy, of course, in the chat saying that he wants all of the lions classic fourth quarter come back, red zone last second, turnovers.
There is some interceptions on NFL all day that I have seen. But yeah, I think if I got one of a lion's interception, I would probably have to sell it just because I would hate to watch that moment as the lions fan, but I'm not a lions fan. I know you lock out here, but you know what, Brian we've suffered over the years so much that we just want a university.
And so trust me, I get it. It's part of, it's part of our culture now. And again this is why we root for Stafford in the super bowl, because that way we can feel like we're a part of something and that we're participating so Broncos and a Colts fan. Cause a Beighton yeah, there you go. Oh, I did see a question from Logan asking about those the NFL NFPS from ticket master, right?
So we talked about. Brian, one thing to add to that, right? Is that don't you think during the Superbowl, they're going to at least run, not a commercial, but flash on the screen at some point, go to this website to buy Superbowl NFT tickets. And if they do that, I feel like the price on some of those existing and FTS could go up because those Superbowl ones aren't going to be available until the fans at the stadium sell their ticket.
What do you think if they put that website on screen, do people go after those Earlier relief. Yeah I would assume so the one thing that I think they actually do a pretty good job of, but how they've handled it. And of course they're pretty smart this kind of takes having the bots in it takes that whole aspect out because the tickets are given to people.
If you bought an, a ticket or you have to buy it with a card, you can't buy through a blockchain, but then you can mend it to your then you access it after you purchase it, you send it to you, whatever. But that kind of that's one cool aspect of NFT and tokenization and tickets. And as memorabilia is you're limiting the number of scans and then limiting the number of people like even shoe resellers, where they'll buy a whole stock of Yeezys and then that's what drives the price up.
But now you can't do that with these. Commemorative tickets, which is really cool. And I think that, that adds a lot more value to them in turn, when people try to sell them immediately or they'll hold them for a longer, the value of kind of stay steady and it'll be worth it. I kinda answered like four questions right there, but yeah, I feel about it.
Yeah, definitely. All right. I think that's a ton on the Superbowl here. We did get some other questions. Brian, why don't we talk about Kara foo for a minute? This was one that you brought up a minute ago and I saw in the chat, I forgot who brought it up now. But let's pull it up. Oh, here it is.
Vitale's thoughts on Kara Fu revealed tomorrow? Brian, this is one that I had actually forgotten about. I knew the name again, 154,000 followers on Twitter and a discord of 88,000. So a big following and here's something to throw out there. On Twitter. I have 73 followers in common with Kara Fu.
And again, I follow a ton of NFT accounts. That means there's a lot of people following this. So this is unrevealed, right? They're not all bots. It's unrevealed right now. And we already have a floor of 3.78, and Brian, speaking of supply, there's only 5,555 available. That's why your price is so high right now.
Demand is super high. Supply is super low. My guess is that when we get a reveal, we see a bit of a dip, but with that many people out there, I tend to think that we actually go higher than that floor price maybe next week, depending on how strong that, I mean that art looks cool.
Those colors jump off the screen. Brian, I don't know anything about their roadmap. I'll have to get one. I'll have to do some digging on that. You can't get one now because they meant it out, but you can buy one on open. But yeah, so to answer your question in the chat I would hold it going into the reveal based on that demand and that low supply, but I think we see maybe a short term debt, but I think this one could run based on those numbers and the strong interest.
So just my thoughts, not financial advice. I CA I would say the same as this is not financial. This is something I personally do. And I don't recommend I, I'm not gonna recommend it out. But what I personally do is I would never sell at the reveal of anything cause there's going to be a dip. And that's when you're going to see the rip, it'll either fall or jump, but you have a higher chance of, I have a higher chance of success of making a bigger ROI.
If I hold through, instead of gambling to see how it interacts with the community and everything. So I don't know why people would sell Amelie after seeing it, unless you have a cup, like unless you have four or five of them, but if you only have one or two, just I would just hold it out.
Not financial advice and I will no, not financial advice. Here's a good question. Let's say you decide to sell before the reveal, right? Let's say maybe you meant five of something. You sell a couple to get your money back and you hold the others. Okay. Let's say you do that. Do you go after the reveal and look at the ones you sold or do you just know that those are forever gone and you don't want to look in case they were rare personally?
Yeah. I'd forget about it. I don't look back because then I'll just soak and I'll just be like, and feel bad about it. So I just I do the same thing with stock trading or crypto trading try to keep emotions out of it. And if I take a loss and then I get out a stupid time that shoots back up I learned my lesson.
I just onto the next. Yeah. I have a tendency to still go look, which is my problem. Portraying yourself here you are. And that's the thing yeah. In the list of saying that she looks back as well. Yeah. It's torture, but it's just my, my my nature to want to go look and see.
But yeah, like you said, you, you do have a tendency then to sulk and be upset, be sad. So you my advice out there is if you sell before reveal just take your profit and don't look back, look at, look forward and just turn off the computer. Look at the next project, right? Find your next one.
We're running out of time here. I did see a. Of course Logan and the chat mentioning heart project. I saw Ryan mentioning height bears. Brian height bears was on the top 10 lists. We talked about yesterday for sales volume last week. This is one that I didn't know a ton about, but I was following from behind the scenes.
I haven't owned any, they are pre-review pre reveal as well of supply at 10,000 and a floor of 0.6, five. I actually kinda like that price on a pre reveal with a lot of hype pun intended behind it. So you know, not financial advice, but definitely has been on my watch list, Ryan through doing research and writing about it.
I think they look cool. They have a large What's the name of the, I can't think of the the cause. Yeah, right outside in front of the Benzinga headquarters, shout out to the Benzinga HQ, downtown Detroit. You can see that cause statue also shout out to our boy, Logan in the chat saying great show and smash the like, and Ryan.
Yeah. Shout out to those guys great crypto and NFT content here. I want to tease everyone. I mentioned it a little bit with the NFL pack, I think, depending on what happens tomorrow, I think I might be opening some top shot and NFL packs. I know you're going to be a way, Brian, so I hate to do that without you, but we want to keep the show going.
So anyone in here watching or listening, if you want to see me open some top shot packs and the NFL pack that I got that hopefully as a kicker moment. Leave a comment right now in the chat, or hit me up on Twitter and say open them packs. Or you can say wind packs like Logan did earlier. Let us know Brian will be back.
I'll be back tomorrow. We'll be back next week. We have so much talk about next week, right? Because now we get to follow up on all these Superbowl projections and predictions. So very exciting times, big shout out to our sponsor FTX for today's episode and sponsoring the show. So shout out and check out FTX. Brian, I think that's going to do it. Anything else to add about the super bowl or the show? I have one thing to add from my boy, Ryan, follow Ryan on on Twitter. He's very close to a thousand. I know it's a thousand followers. Ryan on chain is his at Bryan on chain.
I got you, buddy. Here we go. I just put it in, just put it in the chat. So did Alyssa, there we go, everybody. All right, everyone go follow Ryan right now. Let's do it. Let's get him to a thousand today. Today's the day. Nothing. So a little over 71 Bitcoin for each follow, he says he's promised not financial advice guys.
