Born in Beaudesert, Queensland, Clay Waterman’s journey is one of discipline, determination, and heart. Moving to Park Ridge at a young age, Clay was introduced to combat sports, sparking a lifelong passion for boxing. By the age of nine, he began his amateur boxing career, and just six years later, he claimed his first world title at 15.
Clay represented Australia in the 2018 Commonwealth Games, competing in the Light Heavyweight Division and earning a Bronze medal. After years of amateur success, he turned professional at the end of 2020.Beyond the ring, Clay is dedicated to giving back to the community. Alongside his brother, Tai Waterman, he runs a boxing program at 5 Star Fitness, helping others achieve their fitness goals.
