Born and raised in Quakers Hill, Tristan Garratt was never one to thrive in the classroom, though his love for reading hinted at a curious mind beneath the surface. Drawn to baseball for its unique blend of teamwork and individuality, he learned early on the value of both standing out and working together.

At 18, a spontaneous application for a hospitality role took him to the Northern Territory, where he not only built a new life but also volunteered with the fire service. Life took a sharp turn when he learned he was about to become a father — prompting a return to Sydney to be closer to family.

After his daughter’s birth, he moved to the Hunter Valley for a job opportunity, only to later return to Sydney following a relationship breakdown. Navigating the challenges of family court inspired Tristan to pursue a law degree with a focus on Family Law, while also taking on a role as a greenkeeper.

Amid the turbulence, he found solace in podcasts — eventually joining the 2 Pissed Kents Podcast as a producer, turning his appreciation for the medium into a creative outlet and a new chapter in his story.

Born into a family of entrepreneurs, Lee Carseldine was raised with a strong business ethic and a relentless drive to succeed. That same determination found its first outlet on the cricket field, where Lee climbed the ranks through Valleys Grade Cricket and made First Grade at a young age. His talent and commitment soon saw him sharing the pitch with legends like Allan Border, Matthew Hayden, and Wasim Akram.

In the summer of 1998/99, Lee debuted for the Queensland Bulls, securing a rookie contract and beginning a promising professional cricket career. But just as things were taking off, he was forced into early retirement in 2004 due to serious back injuries—stress fractures and degenerative disc issues that could have ended it all. Refusing to let that be the final chapter, Lee underwent surgery and clawed his way back into top-level cricket, earning a Bulls recall in 2007 before officially retiring in 2011.

Off the field, Lee pivoted into media—working in radio, sports commentary, and TV presenting. In 2016, he became a household name after a standout run on Australian Survivor, where his resilience and leadership struck a chord with audiences nationwide. That experience opened new doors, including the founding of his own drone technology company, Droneit Group, which now services clients across Australia.

Today, Lee splits his time between business and broadcasting, travelling the country and world as a presenter on Channel 7’s The Great Outdoors. He’s also a proud father of two boys and continues to inspire others with his story of grit, reinvention, and purpose after professional sport.

In the face of uncertainty, Jesse reinvented himself once more, carving out a successful career in real estate and launching his own business, PRKN Watches, where he designs timepieces with a distinctive personal twist.
