This week on The Roar we talk about National Indigenous History Month, and share valuable local and online resources to learn more about the rich history and culture of Indigenous people.

On campus this coming week join us for a meaningful flag raising ceremony 10am on June 21st at the M wing entrance to honour Indigenous Peoples Day, free refreshment to follow.

On June 22nd, attend an education table at the Common Link from 11am-1pm for Indigenous Student Union and Safe Partying. Learn about Indigenous cultures, traditions, and their contributions to society, while enjoying safe partying to care for yourself and others.

We hope that you will take advantage of these events and join us in celebrating the diversity and richness of our community. Together, we can build a more inclusive and respectful world for all.

Congratulations 2023 Graduates!

Larissa chats with Candace, the Graduate Employment Coordinator, about navigating post graduation employment and how the Student Job Centre can help recent grads and current students.

In today's short and sweet episode we provide a few important reminders for all new and returning students.

In the first part of this episode, Sasha and Larissa got together to celebrate the end of semester and remind everyone of upcoming important dates.

For the second part Prateek, our housing associate, came in to talk about how he can help you find a new place once you move to Sault; and MarieClaire, from the International Department, came in to hype up new International students for orientation which is happening on May 4th and 5th!

And to finish this episode and the Term in a cheerful note, we went around the college collecting congratulations, welcome and happy summer messages from students, staff and faculty!
