  • Nobody is going to rescue you from yourself

Your thoughts and feelings are in your hands.

Even when everything else falls apart, those remain yours to control.

This isn't always easy, of course.

It takes time, effort, and patience.

You're the only one who can do it, though.

Nobody is going to rescue you from yourself.

    You've got this.

  • You decide what to do with your shortcomings

Much, arguably all, of the pressure we feel is self-imposed.

The pressure others try to apply to us only matters if we let it.

How you feel about your failures, mistakes, and flaws is your choice.

You decide what to do with your shortcomings.

It's your life and nobody else's.

    You've got this.

  • Your reactions make you miserable

We each emotionally handle our problems differently.

Some of us freak out when we get the wrong creamer in our coffee.

Others of us calmly face daily water shortages, famine, death, or disease.

Problems don't necessarily make you miserable.

    Your reactions make you miserable.

    You've got this.

  • What good is wishing without doing?

Wishing often serves only as glorified rumination, dwelling, or worrying.

When wishing turns into doing, however, it can be quite helpful.

If you wish things were different, do something about it.

When there's nothing you can do, let it go.

What good is wishing without doing?

    You've got this.

  • Whose life are you living?

We often let others' expectations dictate what we do from day to day.

When we do this, we live out not our own lives, but someone else's.

We end up squandering the only life we can truly live - our own - in a vain effort to impress or appease others.

    Whose life are you living?

    You've got this.

  • What could you do with some space?

Down time is something many of us never seek out.

We might find it uncomfortable, forcing us to be alone with only ourselves and our thoughts.

Yet, that down time lets us create space.

We can use that space to reflect, grow, and simply rest.

What could you do with some space?

    You've got this.

  • Aim for improvement

It's natural to compare ourselves to, and compete with, others.

Yet, for some of us, if we're not the best, we feel like failures.

The truth is, there'll probably always be somebody better than you.

You might never be the best, but you can always improve.

    Aim for improvement.

    You've got this.

  • It's okay to feel and express dissatisfaction

It's okay to feel and express dissatisfaction.

Dwelling doesn't do you any good, of course.

Acknowledging and communicating your feelings to others, however, is natural and can be a healthy process.

What you do from there is what matters most.

Work toward change or let it go.

    You've got this.

  • What's driving your distraction?

Distraction can keep us from pursuing the efforts we're drawn toward most.

It might be a sign of fear, insecurity, or discomfort.

However, it might also be a sign we're on the wrong path or that our calling lies elsewhere.

    Pay attention to it.

    What's driving your distraction?

    You've got this.
