You might struggle to let go of painful or regretful experiences.
We often bottle up, deep inside, the emotions they bring.
What is done is done.
No amount of anger, shame, or resentment can change that.
Let your past guide your future.
Don't make yourself carry it with you.
You've got this.
A flower isn't just a flower.
It's all the light, soil, rain, and other plants and animals that led to its coming to bloom.
You are not just you.
Like the flower, you are the culmination of everything that led to your being here.
You are an orchestration of unfathomable odds.
You've got this.
Your problems may not always be your fault.
They're still your problems.
You don't have to be at fault to take responsibility.
Sure, others will often play a role in your circumstances.
You can't control them.
All you can control is you.
You are responsible for what you do.
You've got this.
We often see patience as ignoring unpleasant thoughts or emotions.
Patience isn't about ignorance.
It's about learning to sit with discomfort.
If that discomfort encourages you to do something, do something.
Otherwise, learn to just see it for what it is.
Let it come and go.
You've got this.
Some days, you'll make great progress.
Other days, not so much.
On the days when things don't go very well, it is tempting to just give up.
What good does that accomplish?
Things may not have gone as you'd have liked.
That's life, though.
Take whatever progress you can get.
You've got this.
Many of us make a tremendous effort to eliminate uncertainty.
We plan, prepare, and try to account for all possibilities.
Yet, it's always there.
There will be details missed and factors outside our control.
You'll never eliminate uncertainty.
Work to be comfortable with it.
You've got this.
We often think we'll be happy once we get the job, relationship, house, or whatever.
When we do, we may be pumped for a time.
Soon, though, we get used to it.
You are the only thing that will make you happy.
If you're not happy with you, you won't be happy with anything else.
You've got this.
Waiting for effort to yield results can be more difficult than getting started in the first place.
Effort alone, however, doesn't drive progress.
There's another factor involved.
Give it time.
Let your effort get to work.
Be patient, adjust as necessary, and keep showing up.
You've got this.
We often overlook one key truth about any problem's emotional burden.
It's only heavy when you carry it.
Emotions have their value.
Sometimes, however, we carry them for far too long.
You might have to face the problem.
Paying an indefinite emotional toll is never necessary.
You've got this.
Liking somebody is a feeling.
There's a lot involved in whether it happens or not.
Being kind to somebody is an action.
There's not much involved at all.
Really, it's pretty much totally up to you.
You don't have to like somebody to be kind to them.
Why not choose kindness?
You've got this.
