A conversation with Will Beynon of Locomotive for Murder recorded at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2026.
Locomotive for Murder – The Improvised Whodunnit, where killing the cast and cracking the case is in your hands! Four characters board a train but not everyone will survive. Luckily, a world-famous detective is on the case. But who is the killer? Only the murderer themselves knows. Using audience stories, watch Pinch Punch create a never-to-be-repeated whodunnit full of thrills, spills and good old-fashioned kills.

Shenoah Allen is a cult comedy hero known for his sharp wit, elastic face, unflinching honesty, and keen observations about life on the edge. With his groundbreaking and frequently emulated double act, Pajama Men (dubbed "The Velvet Underground of comedy" by The Guardian), he has garnered over a dozen comedy awards at festivals worldwide including the coveted Barry Award at Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Shenoah’s stand-up show, "Bloodlust Summertime," is heading to Soho Theatre and Canada in 2026. "Sunlight," a new film directed by Nina Conti, from a screenplay written by Shenoah Allen with Nina, is screening at Picture Houses across the UK after a successful US release. Both Conti and Allen take on starring roles in the film, with Christopher Guest serving as an Executive Producer.

This episode features a conversation with actor, improviser, writer and stand-up comedian David Elms.
David currently performs his improvised one-man show 'David Elms Describes A Room' monthly at the Free Association Theatre, and reprised his role as Mr. Swallow's beleaguered director, Goldsworth, in 'Mr Swallow's Christmas Carol...ish' at the Soho Theatre, Christmas 2022. His short film 'Regular', written, directed and scored by David and starring Tim Key and Laura Marling, aired on Channel Four as part of Random Acts in 2017. At the Fringe, he has been well received with his three solo shows as well as for roles in hit shows 'Mr Swallow The Musical', 'Adam Riches is Coach Coach', and 'Mr Swallow: Houdini'. On TV, David played series regular Clive in Channel 5's semi-improvised sitcom 'Borderline'.
In 2025, David Elms enjoyed an outstanding and critically acclaimed run of his show, 'David Elms Describes a Room,' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The show garnered multiple four- and five-star reviews, including high praise from THE GUARDIAN, which called it: "An object(less) lesson in the transcendent power of collective imagining...a lovely, skilful and understated hour of extempore comedy."
