God Is So For You!

When you wonder if God (Abba Father) is really going to be there for you, when you struggle in your faith and wonder if He’ll really come through for you...there is only one thing to do...go to His Word and see what he said He would do.

Like most of us, you’ve probably tasted the grief and disappointment that come with loss, heartbreak, discouragement and failure.

But as God spoke to Joshua, so He spoke to all of His children, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”

He’s made you for a purpose, and He intends to see you through.

Think back to what happened when you gave your life to Jesus. You embraced a trustworthy Father who spared no expense to rescue you from sorrow, sin, and death itself. God gave up His own Son so that you could spend eternal life with Him.

Colossians 1:13 ESV

13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,

God Is So For You!

#1 God Formed You

He wants a relationship of love with you.

He wants you to live your life abundantly, full and over flowing.

He wants you to let Him carry your burdens.

He wants more for you than you want for you.

He wanted these things so much for you that “He gave His only son”…for you!

The story of God and humanity is the “one fairytale that is actually true,” as C.S. Lewis once famously declared to a friend.

1. Understand that God has already prepared you to be His partner

My identity changes when I believe He wants to use me for extraordinary things

2. God will stretch what you surrender

v. 9 "Five small barley loaves and two fish"

My responsibility is to obey, to surrender my heart and yield myself to the will of God. It is in the process of obedience that I gain understanding. I can't get peace that passes understanding until I give up my right to understand.

3. God will do the hard work if I will do the humble work

v. 10 "Have the people sit down"

v. 11 "Jesus took the loaves and gave thanks"

Worry is a fundamental mistake in me concerning my role and God's role
