  • Bros Before Woes: Manhood and Life **On Location In Detroit**

This episode dives into the real struggles men face—mental health, identity, fatherhood, faith, failure, purpose, and the quiet battles we’re told to fight alone.

Join me and five of my closest brothers, Greg, Ray, Terrence, Jeremy(Air Jer), and LaMark as we have honest, unfiltered conversations about what it means to be a man today. Together, we break down outdated ideas of masculinity and create space for vulnerability, growth, and truth.

This is a space for men who are tired of pretending—and ready to be real. For sons, brothers, fathers, and friends learning to carry the weight without being crushed by it.

Because being a man isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about being willing to ask the right questions.

  • Suffering IN Silence

Men need spaces where they can lay down the burden of “being strong” all the time and just be. Vulnerable. Honest. Human. And bringing Jesus Christ into that space makes it even more powerful. As Hebrews 4:15 reminds us, “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses…”—Jesus gets it. He walked this earth, faced temptation, felt pain, rejection, grief—yet without sin. That means He’s not judging our weakness; He’s meeting us in it with grace. When Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness,” he wasn’t glorifying pain, but showing us the divine beauty in surrender—how God steps into the cracks of our brokenness with healing and strength. So yes—men deserve safe places. Spaces where vulnerability isn’t shameful, but sacred. Where healing isn’t just encouraged, it’s expected. Where restoration isn’t a maybe—it’s a promise.  @HardlyInitiated   @2819Church In order for us to all heal, we have to be there for each other as brothers.Check out my books : Heart Meditation of the Believer (The Heart Meditation Project) https://a.co/d/hSMtnIQBroken Son: Forgiving a Broken Father https://a.co/d/e6QCjx3 The Rock Podcast with Dennis on other platforms:Apple : https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-rock-podcast-with-dennis/id1585240982Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/1JacNQuIEMFknpX5rd5ge0?si=OoabQHEaSyKiQ46bhX9giHeart Radio:https://www.iheart.com/podcast/269-the-rock-podcast-with-denn-86762292?cmp=ios_share&sc=ios_social_share&pr=false&autoplay=trueAlso follow me on IG: @DC3rising Facebook: Dennis Crawford IIIIntro Music By GK Jones

  • Church Hurt and How To Heal From It

Church hurt" refers to the emotional, spiritual, or psychological pain caused by negative experiences within a church or religious community. This pain can arise from a variety of sources, including interpersonal conflicts, spiritual abuse, hypocrisy, judgment, exclusion, or mismanagement by church leaders. For many, a church is meant to be a place of safety, support, and spiritual growth, so when that trust is broken, it can have profound effects on both the individual and their faith journey.

  • Overcoming Church Hurt w/Special Guest Vince Thomas

Please join me as I have real and authentic conversation about Church Hurt and how to heal from it with Special Guest, Vince Thomas, Lead Pastor of The Outlet Community Church in Atlanta GA.

Healing from church hurt often requires deep emotional and spiritual work. While the process may feel difficult at times, it often leads to profound personal growth. Over time, you might experience a new sense of self-awareness, emotional maturity, and spiritual resilience that fills you with joy.

    How this brings joy:
Strength through struggle: When you come out of a painful experience and see how much you’ve grown or learned, there’s a quiet kind of joy that comes with knowing that you’ve overcome something significant.
A stronger, more authentic self: Healing helps you shed layers of shame, guilt, or confusion that might have been imposed on you, and allows you to be more authentic—this authenticity can be a source of deep joy.

  • Beware of Dreamkillers

Dreamkillers—they are those people or influences that discourage or undermine your ambitions and dreams. Whether it's through overt criticism, subtle doubts, or well-meaning but limiting advice, Dreamkillers often act as obstacles on the path to success or self-fulfillment. It's important to recognize their presence and learn to protect your vision. The key is to stay grounded in your purpose and be selective about whose opinions you let affect your journey. Surrounding yourself with supporters who believe in your potential can help build resilience and ensure that your dreams remain alive.

  • Suicide: The Silent Battle Within (Special Edition)(Please Listen)

Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death worldwide, with men, particularly young men, being disproportionately affected. It is a silent crisis, one often hidden beneath layers of societal expectations, stigma, and unspoken struggles. While mental health awareness has increased in recent years, the complex and often invisible battle within men continues to be overlooked or minimized, making it difficult for them to seek help or support. The statistics surrounding male suicide are sobering. In many countries, men are two to four times more likely to die by suicide than women. In the United States, for example, men account for approximately 75% of all suicide deaths, with the highest rates seen among middle-aged men (ages 45–54) and older men (ages 85+). While suicide is a deeply painful and tragic outcome, it is also important to emphasize that recovery is possible. Many men who struggle with suicidal thoughts go on to live fulfilling, meaningful lives after seeking help. Therapy, support groups, medication, and other forms of treatment can make a profound difference. Moreover, the act of simply reaching out, whether to a friend, a family member, or a mental health professional, can provide a sense of relief and direction. There is no shame in seeking help. The more we destigmatize mental health struggles and embrace vulnerability, the better chance we have of preventing the silent battle within men from ending in tragedy. Please subscribe, like, and share this Youtube Channel for men.
