I've been stunned by the speed the impeachment issue has progressed in just the last week. For months I have felt it better to wait for the 2020 Presidential election when the public can definitively decide if we want another four years of Trump in the White House.But polls have shown a huge increase in support for the impeachment inquiry and I am one of those who now believe we need to play this hand out. Tension in Washington DC is at as high a level as I've ever seen.  This morning, the White House released a transcript of the central call President Trump had with President Zelensky of Ukraine.I focused on one word to rebut those who say 'Well there isn't a direct quid pro quo" and that word was "THOUGH." In the memorandum of the call, Zelensky noted Ukraine was "almost ready to buy more  (Javelin missiles) from the US. At that point, Trump said "I would like you to do us a favor THOUGH..."

The weekend buzz centered around a whistle-blower who exposed potentially damaging information about President Trump and the President of Ukraine.
