The truth is that there are more people receiving rejection letters than those that are actually earning a CJO on the spot. Why? Well there are a few reasons but the main one is that the majority of the aspiring flight attendants don’t prepare themselves enough to stand out during the face to face interview..

I went to 6 face to face interviews for one of the biggest airlines in the world and I did not pass any of them specially because I wasn't knowledgeable about the how to participate in aviation type of interview and my lack of interview skills were not helping at all; all the information that I was finding on many of those google websites and on youtube videos were only people sharing their experience instead of sharing skills and strategies on how to pass the flight attendant interview and that caused me to be unprepared and of course not landing a cjo. Today's Episode 18 I want to share with you what I did to go from rejection letters to CJO and I really hope that this can give you an Idea of why it is important that you do the same if you are approaching a face to face interview.

For many people that are in the customer service industry it is pretty easy to think that they don't need preparation to go to the flight attendant face to face interview and they treat it as another regular job interview, and that right there is a big mistake.

When I first started to apply to the different airlines I wanted to become a flight attendant, the first thought that came into my mind was “this will be super easy for me”. I even told myself “ I have everything they need: the personality, the smile, the background, the style, etc”. But guess what my friend, all that doesn't really matter when it comes to the flight attendant face to face interview, especially for those big airlines.

When I realized that it was like light coming through the dark. I understood that I was doing everything wrong and that I needed to come up with a different game plan that could make me stand out. So, in this episode I will share the 3 biggest mistakes I made early in my journey of becoming a Flight Attendant.
