US Together is a non-profit Refugee Resettlement Agency welcoming refugees from all over the world who are forced to seek refuge in another country due to the inability to stay in their native country. The weather has been nice to The Rough Draft Diaries so we're heading outside yet again for this week's episode. We're at Woodlawn Cemetery and Arboretum. Founded in 1876, Woodlawn Cemetery is a classic example of the type of rural cemetery that urban planners began to favor in the mid-1800s. Later, in 1998, Woodlawn Cemetery was recognized as a National Historic Site. And even later than that, just a few years ago, Woodlawn was given an official rating as an Arboretum. We're headed to the ball game on this episode of The Rough Draft Diaries, however this team may look a little different than your traditional baseball team. We're meeting the Great Black Swamp Frogs, a vintage baseball club playing Civil War Era base ball using rules codified in 1860.
