This week we're talking to Amanda Held, the creator of H.O.O.V.E.S, a program encourages Veterans to work on building a relationship with horses, reading cues and working together to accomplish tasks. Amanda believes this connection helps Veterans learn how to improve their relationships with others, to better understand themselves and to better cope and adapt to the world around them. The Rough Draft Diaries is finally covering The Old West End Festival! This week we'll chat with members of the OWE Festival board to get a behind-the-scenes look at what the first festival looked like (way back in the 70's), what it takes to put these festivals together every year and why this historic neighborhood is so special to Northwest Ohio.
