Matthew creeps out Johann with a little known fact about Zoe’s writing credits and Johann creeps us out with his love of John Waters’ mustache. We also gush over Dizzy again for being a major babe and a prime draft pick for Jumpball.

Rico’s dad is promising us a trip all expenses paid. Just watch out for the neighbors. In this episode we talk about The Roughnecks: Starship Trooper Chronicles and why movie Rico may have been pushed to follow his dad in career choice.

Whoa do we go long on this one so strap in Troopers. We go from speculating that the Buenos Aries high schools are like Hogwarts Houses to dipping our toe into the 1988 Starship Trooper anime and a little other anime action. Matthew gushes over a possible purchase of a 1989 model kit and Johann gets Scottish and Irish accents confused when talking about Cho Chang.

Episode 12A Minute 12. I have come across a small problem in how I labeled these podcast episodes. The trailercast should have been episode 0 to make it easier on how the minutes flow but from now on they will also represent the minute as well as the title.

We have more Jumpball this minute and Johann and I cannot think of simple words but hey when you go over a movie one minute at a time some things just get pushed out. I also get to try out our censor beep for the first time so thats fun! Hope you enjoy the cast.

We hate Carmen. We also talk about the rules of Jumpball and how to break those rules. Matthew goes off on a tangent about video games as he always does and Johann goes over a few points about the last few minutes because we’ve found new notes in the original script. Matthew decides Starship Troopers is stupid, starts his new podcast called ‘The Jennifer Connelly Minute’, and professes his love for said actress. Johann tells us the difference between luck and chance and how Rico is just a dumb sack of rocks.

Do you have the stomach for a bit of dissection? Well if not don’t worry as we go into the VFX of this next minute and talk about evolution of the arachnids. Johann and Matthew also decide to take a trip to Hollywood to purchase something HAZARDOUSLY SLIPPERY.

Today’s episode we discuss Rico’s thirst but he isn’t dehydrated at all and in all honestly the two hosts may be a bit parched as well but not for who Rico is thirsty for! Johann may have a thing for a certain frizzy haired schoolgirl and Matthew happens to like an older southern bell who will be showing us the proper way to get into some literal guts.

In this episode we dive a little more into the differences between the script and the finished product of the film. Johann discusses how he could have possibly become an Admiral in the US Navy and how he hated showing his work while Matthew talks about other Sci-Fi books besides Starship Troopers.
